The sand was a little rough but overall the course was in excellent shape, especially considering how dry it has been this summer. It is a very tight course. Lots of fairly straight holes going backs and forth. It's not uncommon to have golfers from another hole on your fairway, taking a rather unexpected angle onto their green. We found ourselves there on occasion. We played relatively fast, about 4 hours for 18 holes. Most tee times were filled so it was busy.

I complained at the turn in clubhouse and was told to go to clubhouse and get my money back. So I walk to the clubhouse and the two old timers wouldn't give me my money back. I respect my elders and took my 9 hole rain check and walked out. P.S shot a 46 on the front-2hr and 40 minute 9 hole death march. Horrible tore up fairways. Over watered greens full of ball marks. Soft, slow and furry. Had to pound your down hill puts. lol Bad form Keller. You give me my money back like you said and I don't take to social media.

Each time, I have got a water only and there are plenty of nearby garbages to toss items when finished. Lastly, the range has the big 10 sports logos on the green which will measure the distance. You enter the names of the people on your team and the digital scorecard follows you from hole to hole. I liked that. There was a tray at each hole to hold your drinks which was helpful. With no one there, we easily played each 9 hole course in 15 min. I can see where it could take awhile if it's busy. We had a great time and I'm glad we finally made it there. It's been on my list.

Everyone had a smile and that definitely contributed to a fantastic atmosphere. The course had lots of terrain and mature trees but wasn't too punishing for novice golfers (90-110 scores) who only play a couple rounds per summer typically but are working to play more often. I would highly recommend making the drive during the summer and can only imagine the views in early fall with the river valley leaves. Finally it looks like the clubhouse / restaurant is set up to host events and wedding receptions with amazing views. We will be back as the views, course, and staff made the easy 1 hour drive from Eagan well worth it.

The forward tees were around 4800 yards which is a bit more on the shorter side but the many narrow fairways created plenty of challenges. Staff was friendly. Carts did not have GPS. We had a great experience and would gladly return for another round.

Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were well kept. There is a river that hugs a couple of holes to make it interesting.
