The gluten-free chocolate torte is white chocolate coated and comes with a rich chocolate torte, almond crust, fresh strawberry, and chili salt. The combination was incredible. The richness of the chocolate with the fresh strawberry and chili salt was such a fun flavor combination. This dessert alone is worth saving room for. And of course, I ordered the **Rhubarb Margarita** both times because apparently I found my drink and decided there was no reason to switch it up. It was amazing! The staff was fantastic on both visits and made me feel welcome each time. I also really love the design of the restaurant. The space is HUGE, unique, and filled with interesting details. You could probably visit several times and still notice something new. I also love the happy hour, and the downtown location is incredibly convenient. Both times I was staying at a hotel downtown and was able to walk to the restaurant. After two great experiences, The News Room is officially on my Minneapolis must-visit list.
