She also have great beer recommendations. The place was fairly empty on a Tuesday, but I can see it's very spacious and would be great to watch a game at or just hang out. We ended up getting cheese curds, chips and dip, and flat bread. All of it was pretty good! I will say the blueberry ketchup was a pleasant surprise!

Bartenders were very nice and quick, ensuring that everyone had something to drink. I thought it was nice how the bartenders were interacting with us about sports and other fun interests, which meant that they were attentive! It was also very nice how one of the bartenders noticed I was finished with my drink and replaced it with an iced water. Once we had our party members, we were seated and were given menus. One thing I noticed was that our server ignored me and asked the rest of the table (who happened to be men) what they would like to drink. It seemed that anytime I was trying to say I would like a water, I was immediately dismissed. This happened more than once, which made the experience feel a little awkward. Since we were waiting on one more party members (who unfortunately couldn't make it at the end) maybe our server was waiting for him to be seated before taking our order? But it took her a full 20-30minutes for her to take our food orders, while I was still without a drink. I had to ask for water while making my food order. Bartending service was very nice. But table service was a bit of a disappointment. Food-wise it was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary that would make me want to come back. The inside was pretty nice though, with casual dining spaces. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'd come back anytime soon though.

This was my first time here, but the party I was with have enjoyed this several times and raved…read moreabout their chicken wings. I shared the loaded fries, onion rings, and boneless chicken wings served with ranch and habanero sauce. The chicken wings were my favorite. They had a tasty dry rub on it. I thought the habanero sauce was tame, but tasted great. The fries could have used more seasoning and meat. I actually didn't even realize there was meat in the dish until digging through it. The onion rings were crunch and flavorful. Personally, next time I'd pass ok the loaded fries. I do commend this establishment on their management. I did experience a problem during my meal. A server accidentally dropped a few sides of ranch while delivering the meals, and it landed down the back of my jacket. They not only covered the dry cleaning bill, but also covered the cost of the jacket when the stain did not completely come out. It's the care like this that I will remember and keep me coming back.

Decided to split a few appetizers: onion rings, boneless wings, and fiesta fries. The food was decent overall, but the fiesta fries were a bit disappointing and overly messy with too much cheese (I don't remember them being like that). I'd probably try a sauce on the wings next time. Our server, Nicole, was fine but nothing memorable. Also worth mentioning, gratuity was automatically added to the bill. One thing I appreciate about Ray J's is their large menu with many options. Lots of tv's available for sports watching and pull tabs.

The raspberry lemondrop doesn't pack a punch alcohol wise but I enjoyed it. Portions are large and definitely easily sharable. There was good lighting at each table to be able to see your dinner companions but dimmer throughout to give a sense of privacy, not sure if that's what they were going for but it was nice. Ample parking since it's in a strip mall. My only critique is that the containers for leftovers are the compostable clamshell containers; great for the environment but for butter and fat heavy foods. The containers absorbed the oils and leaked onto each other and the bag relatively quickly so keep that in mind if you're taking your pasta home without a bag or your car seats may be stained.

Basket of bread comes with the meals. Pizzas are only ok... so just come for the pasta dishes. Daily special dishes are great as well. Happy Hour: very few places offer 3-6p HH 7 days a week. This is one of the rare spots that do! Decent HH menu with $5 house wines. Granted, the house wines are very basic, but their regular wine list has some nice options and are fairly priced. Service: prompt, friendly, overall good experiences with the service. Ambience: it's a cozy, warm vibe with fireplace for cold days. It can be cold if you're seated by the door. Plenty of booths to request when you rsvp. Making reservations is a good idea on weekends. Located in an unassuming strip mall, this is a gem of a find. Would absolutely come back.

Enough has changed since my initial review to warrant an update here. For one thing, they closed…read more.. but then they reopened. There was also a pandemic that they survived, although moviegoing culture is definitely not the same. In 2026, the two big, unique features of Alamo Drafthouse are technically still true: (1) restaurant-quality food and drink are served to your seat, and (2) they threaten to kick you out without a refund if you talk or use your phone during the movie. The latter claim is dubious, since I've often observed talking and texting that went unpunished, even after I reported it once. People here are more respectful on average, though. The food situation has changed a bit recently. For one thing, it seems like the menu rotates a lot. They often have themed items based on the big movie of the time. You can expect the kind of food you'd find at a modern American pub, but with elevated prices, this being a movie theater after all. However, they recently started directing all orders to be transacted in their app. It is an imperfect system that I've tolerated. It can be a lot more difficult to communicate nuances with your order, and there doesn't seem to be a way to simply request some water. They want you to not use your phones during the movie, even though they clearly want you to order stuff using your phone. Between all that and the prices, I've found myself discouraged from ordering food. I have a long, long history with seeing movies in cinema complexes, and I am convinced that Auditorium #5 (aka "The Big Show") at this location has the best presentation around. If I am excited to see a movie and it is going to have fancy visuals and sound, I make sure to book a ticket in that specific auditorium. So that should tell you something. They have a real culture of movie fandom going on, with their curated slate of classic movies and pre-show vintage movie content. They also regularly show beloved kids movies. The employees are invariably helpful and enthusiastic, even if it is increasingly easy to avoid interacting with anyone. So I'm content to keep coming here for movies whether or not I'll order the expensive, so-so food.

Dinner and a show spot!…read more @alamotwincities in Woodbury is a perfect all in one outting. They have a restaurant/bar outside of the theaters but no need really because you can order food and drinks during the movie and never leave your seat! They have nicely spaced seats that recline, full menu, discrete lighting, notepads and pens to write your order down and a server will grab your order once it's propped up then your food will come out shortly. Tonight we saw a long 3 hour movie which was perfect to get dinner and then later dessert and a snack during the show. (Food pics were in the dark so I did my best) My our order tonight that I'd point you towards in order: Chicken Tenders with dry rub, added ranch and honey mustard for dips. These are awesome. My top pick here. Chocolate Chip Cookies. They come out warm and perfect. Milkshakes (didn't get one this time but goes well with warm cookies) Truffle & Parmesan popcorn. All of their popcorn options are free refills. Royal with cheese burger. This was a decent choice to get. Going to the movies theater always brings back nostalgia, joy and excitement. This adds another layer of enjoyment with having dinner or snacks served while you watch your movie. If you've never gone, highly suggest you do.
