They have daily specials that are pretty good. Today I ordered the Super Salad with chicken. Came with kale, grains, raspberries, goat cheese, candied nuts, avocado, & figs. I ordered the dressing on the side. I added chicken for an extra $6. They have a lunch special where you can get a full size salad or sandwich and a side of vegetables like brussel sprouts or soup, plus a non-alcoholic drink for $20. Food was good but I felt like everything was on the sweet end. Service wasn't very attentive. We had to call our server for a few things, including to request our check. Bathroom is clean. Pinstripes has one of the better brunch buffets in the city! The buffet has quite a variety of food, from prime rib to mini donuts. There really is something there for everyone of all ages. There is an omelette station where you can pick your mix-ins and get an omelette made to order. The highlight definitely is the chocolate fountain. Highly recommend snagging a basket of the warm mini donuts and dipping them in the chocolate fountain. Parking can be difficult in the lot, but there's plenty available in the nearby ramp. Service has always been consistently friendly. It's not on the menu, but drip coffee is included in the brunch price. I would not recommend the Honey & Cinnamon Latte. I'm not sure if it was an off batch but when I tried to mix it the cup was half full of a really thick sludge, and the consistency of the mixed latte was thick and mucusy. read more

There is prime rip, omelet bar, and a chocolate fountain. A lot of their options complement each other. BRUNCH / KIDS REVIEW !! Kids activities for Easter was awesome. They got to draw and be creative and there was a lot of table with a lot of markers ,stickers ect. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. It was for a hour and I think next time we only needed about 45 minutes. They did give the parents coffee, so that was a major plus. Great service. The buffet was also above most. I ordered the chicken club sandwich with avocado, bacon, etc. I got a breaded piece of chewy chicken on a sweet roll, piled with lettuces. No bacon. No avocado. No provolone cheese. No flavor. Terrible sandwich! Then - the real experience: I ate with a group of 8 and we instructed the staff how to split the bill. Food presentation was beautiful and there were several options. they had omelettes made to order in front of you with lots of options for ingredients, artisan, pizzas, pasta dishes, also chicken fingers and french fries there was ham and prime rib, and then also offered salmon and shrimp all on the brunch buffet. I did wish they had regular salad options to build your own fresh salad. I will say also the coffee was way too strong. Each cup comes with its own little metal cup of cream and we put the entire cup in there and it didn't hardly change the color of the coffee. Not to my liking, but maybe somebody else's. Their weekend brunch is buffet style and my kids especially love the chocolate fountain, served with fresh fruit and sweets. I like the fresh omelette station, and the chilaquiles made to order, as well as the warm pinhole donuts made fresh with lemon ricotta. There's a prime rib station and plenty of meat options but don't miss the generous table of salads, vegetables, and fruits and pastries as well. Located in Edina Pinstripes is located in such a lovely area! Right by Southdale mall and galleria, if you want to head to the mall after. This place has bowling too if you want to play! It is very spacious and bright. There is lots of seating too. Our waiter was nice and everything was great! There is also a choice of getting bottomless mimosas. I went to the buffet for brunch. There are so many options! If I could, I would've eaten way more. Everything tasted amazinggg. The pictures only show a small portion of what I got, but the options are endless! I learned to do you research before your rendezvous... Rolled up here at random on a Sunday afternoon after church with my Costco Pinstripe cards looking for a good time. The hostesses were polite , kind, and prompt. This place is on par for the area - upscale bowling it is in Edina. The Sunday brunch is $30 per adult and 5 and under are free - thank goodness because my kiddo rejected everything. Selections were plentiful BUT just OK in regard to taste. The "good" stuff went lighting fast with the crowds and weren't refilled very timely. I might gamble on the brunch one more time to give the place the benefit of the doubt but I'll becoming earlier and not bowl during my time. Just seemed rushed as one hour of bowling was $50 for two adults and a kid. The server for the bowling area just seemed annoyed with life. So that kind of added to the meh vibe of it all but hey everyone has their days and there was multiple parties going on. It is right next to Centennial Lakes so a nice stroll was welcomed after the visit. Could be a factor for those wanting this to be a date night thing. Anyway - for me it would be a solid 3.5 stars for me for the Sunday afternoon brunch and am not sure I'd actually "recommend" at 1pm. My wife and I went to Pinstripes for a Friday date night which also happened to be the day before Valentine's day. They were offering a prix fixe menu for Valentine's which was extended to include our date night. The meal included appetizers, salads, an entree and dessert for each of us. The appetizers were good, the salads were delicious the entrees included a steak or sea bass offering, were great and the dessert was fine. Honestly the four courses were more food than most people can reasonably eat. Additionally there was a wine pairing with each course which I was not aware of until they started to bring out glasses. I'm a lover of a good value and the wine was much better than I expected. The whole thing was $50 per person. I will add that the service was good and being seated at the window facing Centennial Lake really added to a wonderful evening. Reservation was for 1:15. I arrived at 1pm and checked in, right behind another large party. That party and several smaller parties were sat. At 1:20, I again checked with hostess who began to give me attitude and said they were waiting for the people before us to leave. My whole group was hungry and excited about the buffet. At 1:35, we again checked with the hostess who told us it shouldn't be much longer but she seemed annoyed that she had to deal with us. No one ever reached out to our group to update us or give us the option to split into smaller tables. They just kept seating groups of 4 or 5. At 1:40 we were very aware that the buffet closed at 2 and still did not have a table. We started getting plates of food and one of our group members asked if the bar area was open seating so we could eat at the high top tables while we waited for our table. The manager did agree to extend the buffet time, but only by 15 min. It was almost a half hour past our Reservation time. He also offered to discount our checks. Around 1:50 we were just pissed and getting dirty looks from hostesses and other staff. No one had offered us beverages. I then heard that they decided that we didnt want our table and would just eat in the bar. Multiple of us very reasonable women were now over the edge, plus still Hangry. We finally got our table around 2pm ( when the buffet was supposed to close) and received dirty looks from many staff members as we grabbed our food and sat down feeling rushed. Sean was the saving grace and took wonderful care of us. Acknowledging that the situation was not handled properly and asking what he could do to make it better. Because of him, we ended up having a great brunch and told him to make sure he doesn't share his tips. We then got the 1st bill as one of our members needed to leave, and she was charged full price. We confronted the manager who tried to backpedal, but ended up giving us each a discount. Before we left, we asked the hostess to take our picture and she rolled her eyes the entire time. Came here for a work event the other day and I gotta say.. it was pretty lovely. I have been to Pinstripes many times in Chicago and in general, Pinstripes is a pretty solid spot. The food is always a 10 out of 10. I don't know how they do it every time and how the food always stays so damn consistent, but they do it! I have never had a bad food experience at Pinstripes in all honesty. On this particular visit, I had the chicken Caesar salad (a true gem). It is perfectly dressed with a nice garlicy dressing, some lovely crunchy crotons and the chicken was grilled and really juicy. The salad was crisp. Just a lovely salad. I also got the buffalo cauliflower.. it was really good, the cauliflower on this particular occasion was a little small but nonetheless, very good. The group that I was with got some flatbreads which also looked amazing. We played bocce ball for about an hour (which by the way, definitely better to come with a group, this is expensive!). It was on a Monday around 3pm so it was not that busy which was really nice. All in all, great spot to go. I have also been here on a Friday to go bowling and it is definitely more lively during that time, but a great solid spot to do some bocce, bowling, have some drinks and eat some great food! The drink of choice today was BOTTONLESS MIMOSAS. Yes, you read it correct. They have bottomless mismosas with the option of orange, cranberry and grapefruit. Of course I went with the orange juice. I probably would hav like pineapple juice, but I can not tell them how to write thier menu. LOL My meal was nothing short of amazing. I decided to go with the chicken and waffle. As you should know is one of my favorites. I should honestly do a tour about who has the best chicken and waffles around the states. Hmm!! (tables this for later discussion). This chicken and waffles came wi3th a mapple syrup, sweer chili glaze and homemade whipped cream. On the top of the delcicious chicken rest a sliced jalapeno, which is seared to perfection. We came to Pinstripes for a birthday dinner, and it was a nice time! I love when there's a parking lot - it makes it a lot more enjoyable not having to scour for parking and then walk a super long ways in the snow and cold. The food and drinks were great! Our servers were very kind and quick with service. It's a little loud so it's hard to hear if you have a larger group like we did. The food was pretty standard - the chicken Parmesan was good! Nothing super special. I got to taste the gnocchi which was yummy and the lobster Mac n cheese as well! My 1 star fell off because when we arrived inside there were two hostesses at the stand, but it seemed like the process to check in or get a table was really disjointed. Our visit to the restaurant was a family affair following postponement of our Easter brunch. We selected Pinstripes to enjoy their advertised brunch that looked impressive in the advertising, followed by bocce ball. The bocce ball was great, the meal not so much. The only option available for dining was the buffet, which following our seating at 1:15 ran until 2:00 PM. After 2:00, diners could order off the menu. We made our way to the buffet line after waiting for our server to take our drink orders. The first run found that the line had cold peel & eat shrimp which was room temperature and lacking cocktail sauce, leaving behind a serving dish that had been scraped clean of all particles of sauce. Moving on through the line we found the scrambled egg station empty with no replacements in sight. The sausage and bacon station had an ample supply of meat, but unfortunately both items were cold. The goat cheese breakfast pasta was also cold, although the Mac & Cheese was steaming hot but runny. Both pastas were very bland with neither having a notable cheesy flavor. The carving station had been abandoned with only a small quarter of ham remaining. Apparently the carvers had flown the coop, never to return. I had hope that the omelet station would redeem the experience, but to my surprise when I returned 15 minutes later it had closed, with the cooks saying that they had run out of ingredients. I tracked down the manager, since the buffet was closing in spite of customers expecting closing time to be 15 minutes away.i pointed out that many of the food items had not been replenished (remember the absence of scrambled eggs? It got worse.). He arranged to reopen the omelette station but only a few ingredients were offered. Cheese fresh vegetables and meat choices ( with the exception of diced ham) were not available. To the credit of management, our party was only charged 50% of the total tab, which we felt was an equitable arrangement. Our server was moderately attentive, but was not inclined to complain to his boss about the kitchen staff refusing to supply the buffet during the last 30 minutes of scheduled service. We recommend that you skip the weekend buffet at this place and hold out until 2:00 PM to order off the menu. That food looks fantastic. read more

Pinstripes for the most part is my go to brunch for a crowd, but this last visit wasn't ideal. We stopped in as a party of 9 for my father's birthday- the unlimited brunch is normally our go to. I found the set up to be challenging. The line was wrapped around and people were getting tired and cutting the line. Plus with the entrance doors opening and closing it made for a less than desirable time. We were seating in the room near the restrooms, nice space but our server didn't find her way to our table very often. From what I could tell no one else in this area was doing the unlimited mimosas- normally we can track down any server for a refill but not today. I left feeling like we didn't get our money worth, between the really long lines for food and minimal refills on our mimosas it was kind of a bust. This is one of our favorite date night spots in the Twin Cities. The food is always awesome, and the servers are always friendly. We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time, which was a little frustrating, and the staff was stretched pretty thin, so it took some time to get my wine and the hubby's iced tea and he had to flag down our server for a refill. They were very nice about letting us move to another table when the weather started to look like rain, which was great! I love love love the Power Salad and always add shrimp. I would absolutely not recommend this place for events, our experience was as if this place was not used to running any type of event. First, I called in early April to set lanes aside for bocce ball. On this call, I clarified and asked if bocce ball for 19 people would cost money as the bowling was a per hour charge on their website. I was told no and they took my information and said I would receive an email confirmation closer to the event, but that it had been booked for our event. The night before our event, I called to see if we could potentially add a guest to the event and nobody could find any information regarding the reservation from a month prior. Despite this, they had my nickname in their computer system which I had not given on this call, meaning that someone likely took my information but did not actually book anything. The employees were apologetic and assisted in problem solving the issue to accommodate us and offered bowling at the same time or a later bocce ball slot, however, I was quoted $240 per hour now, despite being told initially that there was no fee. Because of the last minute timing, we decided to continue with a bowling reservation. The next day, we came in for our slot and were told that it would be $380 per hour for our group. When I explained that I had been quoted $240 the night before, I was told that I was quoted happy hour prices (as if I would have known that, or as if that was my problem that their staff misquoted me a second time). Despite this, the employee was nice enough to charge us for 2/4 lanes per hour which we were okay with after all of the mix ups. Then, during the event, we had 17 adults, and the wait staff did not ask how we initially wanted the bill split up. The bill came on 1 tab and nothing was tracked, ultimately we had to use 1 card and split it up among ourselves. One guest brought a $20 coupon to cover their meal, which we included with the credit card and were told they could use it. However, after checking my bank statement, I was charged the original price and was not told that they couldn't use the coupon in the end, nor did they return this coupon. Overall, this experience was terrible, we were given 3 different answers on pricing at every turn AND the billing for the event was poorly handled. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to host an event and will never be going back. We drove 4 hours from out of state to host our event here in hopes to celebrate with friends over our engagement, and it was nothing but stressful and ruined our time with loved ones due to having to coordinate bills and surprise charges. Update: Ben was great to work with on this issue and took the matter very seriously and made us feel heard about what happened.
