Fruit flys in most the liquor bottles. No buy backs. Very slow in bartending. That's Thursday nights atleast.

We had a small family birthday party and were disappointed. The food was delicious not an issue…read more The service was horrendous. We were promised the room at 4:15 and they didn't clear out the previous party till 4:30 and were still setting up the bar at 5:10 when our guest of honor was expected arrive. Bar service was sporadic and getting anything from the servers was impossible. They cut the cake small handed out pieces then failed to make the cake available for anyone to eat more and top it off the bartender was eating cake a huge piece at the bar. Ok so we had cake however COFFEE goes with cake it shouldn't have taken them 30 minutes after serving cake to get our guest coffee. Then to top it off the cookie platters that were included were sad. 1 red velvet cookie surrounded by 6 chocolate chip cookies 1 plate per table. I'm surprised because I've been here before and never had such a unfulfilling experience. They left us having to get up and continuously ask for refills and missing items. I'm disappointed and don't recommend them for a party. As an addition to the story after they read my review they called and apologized and fully addressed the situation to our satisfaction.

Not the best steak this time around but still a good experience…read more We needed to push the reservation one hour on a Saturday and they were very accommodating. Quickly seated, too. Our fried calamari was great and love the house salad. Just be sure to ask for your favorite dressing as they bring out a standard creamy one that I don't like. My steak this time around wasn't the best. It was definitely overcooked and my tough to cut which was a bummer as it was phenomenal last time. But my husband enjoyed his dish and my daughter enjoyed her chicken parm. The ice cream that came with her meal was fine. The chocolate cake was nothing to rave about.

Saw this place in a local coupon book I obtained during my travels, and figured I'd check it out…read moreonce I checked their pub menu, which included the elusive Irish Scotch Egg. Tale of the disappointed tape: Mac & Cheese: the description sounded great, so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately, it missed the target, as the combination of cheeses (Béchamel, Gouda, Fontina, Gruyere, Cheddar) is bland! There is no even slightly pronounced cheese taste, not even from the cheddar cheese melted on top. I had to add my own hot sauce (Frank's and Texas Pete are my savory favorites) to liven it up a bit. Irish Scotch Egg: I'd heard about the existence of this food item while watching the British show "Broadchurch," wherein it was a running gag that the David Tennant character offers his partner a bite of his Scotch Egg, and she always refuses the offer. A Scotch Egg is a soft boiled egg enrobed in a sausage shell, rolled in bread crumbs and then either baked or fried. Sounds good, doesn't it? When I saw it on their menu I had to check it out. Unfortunately, it too was also rather bland. A soft boiled egg by itself is not exactly flavorful, but the sausage here could have been, and it just wasn't. The two eggs in the order come on a bed of shredded lettuce that had spicy mayo in it, which you definitely need to help enjoy the egg. Either that, or use your favorite hot sauce, mustard, or other condiment. I may try to make this myself, using a certain brand of sausage I've always found flavorful, and/or some chorizo. Yes, that would quite possibly work . . . Pulled Pork Sliders: three pulled pork sliders are served with your choice of sauce (BBQ or other house sauce) a dollop of cole slaw (on the slider), three slices of cucumber and a spear of lettuce. This is the only item of my order that I actually enjoyed. The BBQ sauce was decent, and well complimented the pulled pork and slaw. These I would get again if I were to return to this pub. Conclusion: pulled pork sliders FTW, but Scotch Eggs and Mac & Cheese leave more to be desired.
