Great pharmacy. They care. They find the cheapest alternative. They call to discuss. They are caring human pharmacists!

One of them called around for me to try and find a particularly hard to find medication. Must have called a dozen places. The place looks like a store in the former Soviet Union. Empty shelves. Crazy. This place looks closed. They have a giant white shade over the window. You will not believe it is open. There is a pharmacy counter but very little else. Which is unfortunate. It would be nice to buy a bottle of Robitussin or some bandaids when you are allegedly inside a pharmacy. Some insurance wont let you go to CVS. That is what I have. But again, in general helpful, friendly staff. They are generally able to fill my prescriptions without any issues. Street parking only. Well, there are some lots pretty close by. And they have one of those 15 minute spots right out front.

Only to arrive to the doors closed and other patrons equally upset and disappointed that the store for no reason decided to cut out early. Shame on you. The poor fellow that was first waiting was devastated and upset that the store decided to close. Same friend, Same. Serving the community - Nope. Closing early and upsetting people who had to travel to get to you as quickly as possible - is disgusting.

Community Pharmacy - Looks vacant, right? When I first moved to Summit I walked past a dozen times thinking it was abandoned.

To be honest this isn't my go-to Pharmacy so I can't really comment on that part of this business, but it is the closest drug store to my job and that's why it's convenience can't be overstated especially during cold and flu season.    It seems like you can't have a cough these days without being an enemy of the state, lol. That's why I always keep a solid supply of Mucinex on hand which for me works wonders on clearing up any issues with coughing. The key is you just gotta catch it early at the first signs of any cold symptoms.   The Salesforce here is helpful and check out usually moves along pretty quickly, although at peak hours like lunchtime you're basically on your own because it can become a Madhouse. And That's the Name of That Tune!!

We decided to wait so my partner could get his shot. After almost 30 minutes of waiting, we asked again about our appointment. Pharmacist states he's busy working the window. Really? So the fact that we had an appointment counts for nothing? How about the price of two covid shots (Google says $130-$190 each) - Walgreen pharmacist thinks crapping on almost $400 sales is 'smart'? Final update; I got my Covid shot from the Walgreens in Roseland - no hassle.

If you're looking for a COVID vaccine I would highly recommend bypassing CVS' tedious online…read morescheduling system and heading to Sears at The Livingston Mall. Filled out the online forms for CVS which took the better part of 15 minutes and included uploading pictures of my insurance card and having to navigate back and forth across numerous pages to find availability. After taking an afternoon off to get my booster shot I was informed that my chosen location doesn't have the Moderna vaccine. I was also told that I would need to go through the same process to schedule my second Singrix shot after just walking in and receiving my first. CVS LOVES surveys. If I walk in there, buy a pack of gum and leave, they want to know all about my experience. My experience sucked. Getting a vaccine should be easy and if you're looking for quick, easy and painless head over to Sears. No appointment necessary and they're nice as could be. I'll be seeing my doctor for my second Shingles shot, as well.

When you go inside Liberty Drug, you will see that it's set-up is messy and doesn't look clean…read more Everything in there seems dated back to the 1970s. I am posting today because of Liberty Drug's terrible customer service. My doctor put in an order for a compound to be made for me and Liberty Drug is slow (generally speaking, my experience is that their turnaround is over a week). Specifically, I placed my compound order a week and a half ago. At the time, I told them that I wanted the "small tube" TWICE during the phone call. Today, around 12:30pm, they called to say that my compound was ready for pickup. Approximately 3pm, I went to pick up it. They made the larger tube for me (which is about $40 more). The pharmacist stated that they needed to remake it. Then, the cashier said that it will be a 10-20 minutes wait. I was confused on the wait time knowing that it takes them a while to make compounds. So, I asked to speak with the manager. When I went to speak to the manager about this to understand my wait time, he blamed me for this issue (remember, all I wanted to know was how long it will take to remake my compound). He said that since this has happened twice with my order (it happened once before a year or two ago), he said that it was my fault. He did not look to his employees as the source of error. The lady next to him said that I needed to specify how many milliliter (ml) tube I wanted. I said that I would not know the ml size of this compound. This is not something that I look at or consider - would you know how many ml (or ounces) is your toothpaste? I said that the person who took my order should (and could) have clarified the size and cost, especially since I mentioned twice that I wanted the "small tube". But, this person did not. This person just hurried up and hung up after taking my order (he was abrupt and rushed during this call). So, the manager outright blamed me. He did not look to his people and their obligation to clarify the order. He did not look into his management failings to train his staff to ask the right questions. He had no consideration that it took them a week and a half to give me my order and that I drove approximately 30 minutes to go there on a very cold day. With that said, I have found the cashiers to be very friendly over the years, although there is a lot of turnover. Based on my experiences at Liberty Drug, they are not a well-oiled machine. Their processes and communications are similar to the store set-up - messy, not clean and outdated.
