The pharmacist Marvin came out to measure me for the property sized scripted item. He was very pleasant. The item worked out perfectly. So I really appreciated his detailed customer service. I'm giving the pharmacy 4 stars because the pharmacist "insisted" the item wasn't covered by insurance. I think if I have been a regular familiar face, they would've made an attempt to put it through my insurance online. My other pharmacy does this all the time. I submitted the bill to my insurance company and I was reimbursed about 90%. However, I still would stop in Northfield Pharmacy.

Note, longest receipts ever... wish they could show the coupons and you print what you wanted instead of wasting so much receipt paper. Pharmacy in the back, and looks like they also do some minor things like shipping and maybe photos (couldn't tell if that part of the store was open).

This is the one that shares the same plaza as Bottle King. This was my first time at this CVS location. I thought the inside of the store is much larger than how it appears while driving down Mount Pleasant. The aisles are tidy, organized, and well-stocked - lots of seasonal items and an interesting local history book rack by the pharmacy in the back. The only con was perhaps the pharmacy hours (opens 11am on Sundays); but this location does offer drive-thru services, which the one on S. Livingston Ave does not.

At first, I was satisfied, they have more than one pharmacist, so the one I was dealing with was very nice, professional and helpful. Than I met their other pharmacist, his name is Dharal Khambhati. I'm sure his credentials check out, but he's very unpleasant, unhelpful and plainly not interested in dealing with the public. In his words: this is how they operate, if I'm not satisfied, I'm free to go somewhere else. He also told me there's no refill on my prescription, and that my doctor didn't reply to his email and phone call. I called my doctor immediately after talking to him, and found out they sent the refill. I asked the nurse to cancel and send refill to CVS, because there's no way I'll be going back to Medical Center Pharmacy. So many times In last 2 years I went there, only to find out our meds were not ready, and that I should come back later, sometimes even the next day. Also, they work short hours on Saturday, and they are closed on Sunday. I like to support small businesses and have a more personal relationship with them, just not this kind of relationship. I'm going back to CVS for now.

They were nice enough to call that pharmacy for me and inquire about the possibility of making the med and how long it would take. They went above and beyond what they were expected to do. When I was to pick up my son's medication, Ashley (a pharmacy employee) was nice enough to make a curbside delivery to me. I was so grateful for her help, as I had 3 little ones that weren't in the best moods and under the weather. I will be sending all my scripts here from now on!

Everyone there is so polite knowledgeable amazing awesome caring considerate and understanding! This pharmacy also delivers in a timely manner. Each delivery is delivered with care and caution. Items are delivered as close to the door as possible. I would recommend Eagle Rock Pharmacy to the fullest!! Eagle Rock Pharmacy cares about each person's prescription and situation. There's some work on the sidewalks, so I turned into the CVS plaza from School Ave. The pharmacy staff working that day were friendly. The woman who helped me at the pharmacy register also rang up my store items that I had placed down on the counter, which was a big help for me. This store is tidy, and shelfs are organized and well stocked. Nice seasonal item section also. I would come back again if in the area and in need of a CVS. I am posting today because of Liberty Drug's terrible customer service. My doctor put in an order for a compound to be made for me and Liberty Drug is slow (generally speaking, my experience is that their turnaround is over a week). Specifically, I placed my compound order a week and a half ago. At the time, I told them that I wanted the "small tube" TWICE during the phone call. Today, around 12:30pm, they called to say that my compound was ready for pickup. Approximately 3pm, I went to pick up it. They made the larger tube for me (which is about $40 more). The pharmacist stated that they needed to remake it. Then, the cashier said that it will be a 10-20 minutes wait. I was confused on the wait time knowing that it takes them a while to make compounds. So, I asked to speak with the manager. When I went to speak to the manager about this to understand my wait time, he blamed me for this issue (remember, all I wanted to know was how long it will take to remake my compound). He said that since this has happened twice with my order (it happened once before a year or two ago), he said that it was my fault. He did not look to his employees as the source of error. The lady next to him said that I needed to specify how many milliliter (ml) tube I wanted. I said that I would not know the ml size of this compound. This is not something that I look at or consider - would you know how many ml (or ounces) is your toothpaste? I said that the person who took my order should (and could) have clarified the size and cost, especially since I mentioned twice that I wanted the "small tube". But, this person did not. This person just hurried up and hung up after taking my order (he was abrupt and rushed during this call). So, the manager outright blamed me. He did not look to his people and their obligation to clarify the order. He did not look into his management failings to train his staff to ask the right questions. He had no consideration that it took them a week and a half to give me my order and that I drove approximately 30 minutes to go there on a very cold day. With that said, I have found the cashiers to be very friendly over the years, although there is a lot of turnover. Based on my experiences at Liberty Drug, they are not a well-oiled machine. Their processes and communications are similar to the store set-up - messy, not clean and outdated.

In fact I received 4 text messages yesterday confirming my appointment for today. I arrived 15 minutes early as that's what they require. I went up to the pharmacy, waited for someone to get off the phone, and told her I was here for my Covid vaccine. She shook her head and said they didn't have any. She also said she called everyone to let them know. I received no phone call. She said they ran out yesterday morning. I received all 4 text confirmations after they ran out. She said she called everyone, then looked at her list and said maybe she missed it. WTF? I drove almost 1/2 hour each way to this non existent appointment. This was beyond ridiculous.
