They have a FedEx drop off here, where the FedEx folks said I could drop a misdelivery here and they'd take care of it... turns out the staff has no idea what to do with that. They at least took the package, but no idea if they'll figure out what to do with it. read more

These people are so rude. I waited over 5 minutes for pick up and when I called, the lady had a nasty attitude and asked if I was outside or in the pharmacy because people mostly do pickup at the latter. Why have an option to pick your parking spot if you drive up to a window??? She left me on hold for 3 minutes and came outside. She gave me my items and left without even HELPING me put the stuff inside the trunk. Don't come here because they take long inside too!! read more

Once I learned to use the drive through my opinion went up a star. Inside they are often short staffed, with a single register open. Trying to get help inside is a vexing proposition. Better to order staples online than walk the aisles looking for a specific item. read more

The is pharmacy is really slow and always making mistakes. I have directed my insurance 4 times. I am not sure why they can't seem to get the simply things right. The rest of the store is fantastic. Very clean and well stocked. read more

There is a new pharmacy tech (older woman) who picks up the phone and is very confused. I called to apply a discount coupon. She was accusatory and kept asking unnecessary questions and refused to bill my primary insurance. The coupon applies only if the primary insurance is billed. Then she questioned about why I am getting 90 day refill. Very rude and inappropriate. Bad experience. The pharmacist is very nice and knowledgeable but there are new people who need more training. read more

New location moved from the Kings shopping center in Short Hills. It is a fairly large store with very high ceilings and is bright and cheerful. It may have the same basic floor size as its predecessor, but feels much airier and less claustrophobic. The layout is standard Walgreen's. The refrigerated drinks section is much better than in the old location. Parking is sufficient for now. They made very good use of the land formerly occupied by Short Hills Catering and a gas station. Hopefully traffic will not be a nightmare here in the future if they ever open Stop and Shop down the street. Not that I'm holding my breath that that will ever happen! read more

Poor service from pharmacy and arrogant. Inspite of rescheduling 3 times for flu vaccine, they have guts to say to go somewhere else instead of accepting their issue with long wait times. Just poor management and not because they have big lines. read more

My impression, as a physician, is that this I the worst pharmacy with which I have ever tried to work. There is always a delay to talk to the pharmacist- that is, they answer the phone at all. Recently I was instructed to use their "new" voicemail system to leave a new prescription because the pharmacist was too busy to take while giving flu shots. I left it as instructed but when the patient's representative arrived to pick it up, he was told no prescription was ever called in! This particular pharmacy is chronically understaffed, difficult to deal with and problem prone, resulting in diminished quality of patient care. There are many other pharmacies nearby; patients wishing to receive timely, professional care would be well advised to use one of them. read more

This Walgreen store is the best! Whenever I go there, if I cannot find something I need, I can refer it to any of the employees that work there, and they will find it for me. The store is clean, and well stocked. ........... The entire staff including the managers, are hard workers and are very congenial. There appears to be a nice relationship between the managers and staff and that probably accounts for the high morale in the store. ................. I made multiple trips to the store today, and I met Joseph and Junior (J) at the register check-out. They were very professional, very extending, and cared about customer satisfaction. Maybe they are still dealing with the new store training? I've been there for prescriptions three times in the past month, there have been some small issues each time. 1. Mistaken mine with another customer's prescription. 2. My doctor cannot transmit the prescription electronically. 3. No one would pick up my doctor's call until being on hold for a few minutes. 4. The text alert for pick-up comes 4 hours after I pick up the prescription. All in all, no harm done. However, it is not conforming to see that your pharmacy appears to be out of order. My doctor's suggestion: maybe you need another pharmacy. read more

Annoying. I go to place an order online at one store - says 'out of stock, click button to find store in stock'. Go to that store. Website says 'in stock'. Order comes, items out of stock. Two items were out of stock (of 5 items), 1 item came 1 short (I had asked for 2). I called store manager, he kindly gave me points on my reward card - I think, we got disconnected twice, so I can't be certain. Door Dash delivered the order. I left directions to 'leave inside the front porch'; note on door says 'leave inside front porch'. Order delivered to the front steps - not even the front stoop. The order sat on the steps for 1.5 hours, because it was not inside the porch. The Walgreens manager did not give me the Door Dash phone - so I cannot declare my disdain for their delivery service. Further, the 1 item that was short 1 of 2, the manager tells me 2 were pulled for my order and I should have received 2 - he was going to check the store video. Did Door Dash driver need a quick snack? Now I have to find someone else to deliver the out of stock and shortage items. This seems to happen often at Walgreens. Maybe I should try CVS. read more

It's the pharmacy I use the most. Plenty of items for sale and it would be fine except the pharmacy is run like a soviet department store. Lines are always long and move slowly. It is maddening to wait on line to drop a scrip off and then wait again to get and pay. Estimates of time are way off always. Some of the pharmacy people are nice and work hard. Others lack any sense of customer service or aptitude for working in the pharmacy. That's why I gave it two stars. read more

I have had issues with the photo department on multiple occasions. They're slow moving and not very helpful. The rest of Walgreens is fine. Sometimes the Pharmacy takes a while as well. Good selection of typical cards, toiletries, candies, school supplies etc you would expect. read more

This place is actually pretty good. It's in a nice strip mall on Morris Tpke, so you can always walk over to Kings Grocery store while waiting for a prescription. They actually have a lot of stuff for sale, more so than other Pharmacies/Convenience stores." I have no comment on their prices, but I will say that their pharmacists are usually pretty good about being quick and such! read more

Honestly I love Walgreens. But I have to say this is one of the worst I've been too. I ALWAYS have problems here to the point it's becoming a deterrent to go here even though the location is convenient to work and quite frankly don't have time to go after work or weekends with a 2 year old at home. The check out is constantly a process with their systems NEVER taking my Walgreens digital coupons. I mean I thought this was supposed to make my life easier. How do you not except Walgreens digital coupons?!?! YOU'RE WALGREENS! Completely ridiculous. Such a waste of my time as I have to check and tell them they did not take them off and they have to manually override. These can be a lot of money, I'm not talking cents here. What century are we in that your technology can't handle this??? read more

The photo department is completely incompetent. The last several times I have attempted to use them there has always been a problem, including making me pay for my photos twice because they are incapable of receiving any orders correctly from the website. And the snotty little manager is absolutely no help at all. While I was in there, two other customers had complaints, and nothing was done to rectify the wrongdoings of the store. I prefer this Walgreen's to other NJ ones and much less congested than all NYC ones. Well laid out, clean, staff is friendly and approachable; will help you or get someone who can ASAP if you ask. Pharmacy is pretty fast and efficient with text alerts. All of the shelves are neat and organized. read more
