We had a very positive service experience in the shoe department. The sales associate was helpful and patient, grabbing us a few similar boot options to try, beyond what we asked for. She didn't mind that we put the boots we loved on hold and came back to purchase them before leaving the mall. We made sure that she got credit for the sale. We had a great experience in the mens' denim department as well - the employees were really helpful in explaining the styles and sizing of the various brands. We also purchased a bag in the contemporary section - the sales associate there was actually pushy and salesy, not someone I'd normally want to work with or support, but we needed the gift so made the interaction short and moved on. Overall we enjoyed our shopping experience at Nordstrom, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area. If you don't live near a Nordstrom, they offer free shipping and free returns.
