I don't shop at shoppers anymore because the quality changed at this location, which used to have a great selection of fruits & veggies. Now that most of these stores closed, I've heard how the prices shot up ! I stopped in to get some butter(not margarine), frozen waffles, grilled chicken fajitas, sliced beef lunch meat to make some chipped beef and small bag of flour. Just these things cost me $40! I did go by the refrigerated section for the eggs because everyone has mentioned how expensive they've gotten and i was floored. Average is $5.00!! Wow... While shopping at shoppers 26 old mill, millersville, md. Today, Sunday, the old hag working produce thought I removed a bag of salad from its spot. I did not, I simply picked it up from where it laid, read the ingredients and sat it down where I picked it up from. She walked up behind me and said " what, you don't like it? At least you could put it back!" I politely informed her I placed it where I found it, and that she is the employee so do your job! I often get $10 off $50 coupons in the mail for Shoppers that are good only for two days, and they also send me their weekly sales circular, which often draws me in. I saw some $0.99 2-liter bottle deals so I rushed in to buy them and some other items for a Halloween party I held. The store is well stocked but mostly empty. I can't complain for having a quiet and customer-free shopping experience. I found everything I needed. The cashier was friendly and helpful and rung me up quickly. She also made friendly conversation and wished me a nice day. I would come back but this is not my go-to grocery store. read more

Aisles are wide, clean, stocks are plenty, best of all prices are low. We heard this chain is closing if not sold to another group to take over sometime this year. read more

On January 8th, 2025 at approximately 1:37 pm. I entered the shoppers food warehouse located at this particular location. I proceeded to go to the Coinstar machine to cash out my coins . Once completed the machines generated a cash value voucher. I was not sure how I will go about getting my money. So I saw a gentleman who was sitting in the office next to the Coinstar machine. I then asked him how would I go about getting my cash/money . He then stated that I needed to go to the service desk and give them the cash voucher slip to retrieve my cash . I proceeded to the front to the customer service desk. There was a sign placed on the window stating that the service desk was closed. I then encountered three cashiers that were standing beside the customer service desk talking. I then stated excuse me . Would you happen to know when the customer service desk will reopen. They responded they did not know I then proceeded to ask to speak with the general manager. So they called him to the front of the store. Which In fact, was the same gentleman that was sitting in the office beside the corn star machine . That told me I needed to proceed to customer service to give them the cash voucher to get my money. He stated that the customer service desk was closed due to. They did not have a bookkeeper in the store. I then asked if the corporate office was aware that they had no bookkeeper in the store. He replied yes they were aware of it. And many of the stores don't have a bookkeeper. I asked him when would it reopen. He responded He did not know maybe tomorrow . I then asked him did he have a number to shoppers food warehouse corporate office. And I asked him for his name he stated yes very nonchalant. He then wrote his name on my receipt. John Fortura. I then proceeded to leave the store. I then went to research shoppers Food warehouse corporate office number. I then spoke with someone by the name of Catherine at shoppers Food warehouse corporate office . She then called the store directly immediately . Supposedly the general manager stated that this particular manager had left for the day . her name was Margaret. She then told the corporate office representative Catherine that I could come back to the store and that she could take care of it. my overall experience at this particular shoppers food I will give them a zero stars. I'm requesting that the corporate office review the surveillance cameras to see how. They have employees just standing around talking amongst themselves, not working.. getting paid to do nothing just standing around talking. A lot of the shoppers food warehouses has closed. And I see why the store employees are very unprofessional.The overall quality of the store looks not kept ,The food does not look as fresh as prior such as the deli, the hot food bar the produce section.. And the sad thing is you only see a handful of people going and shopping at shoppers food warehouse now time and these days. read more

Just wanted to say I hardly ever leave reviews good or bad. However this situation warranted a review. Almost all the employees here are nice. However The cashier Janice is as unpleasant as a diabetic foot wound. Simple directions like doing a split payment proved to be overly complicated. And once the error was made she proceeded to tell me that I didn't ask her to do a split payment all while standing there holding the 2 cards. Oh well. It is what it is read more

Known for good prices without having to carry membership cards or enter phone numbers and colossal donuts at an increasingly hard to find reasonable price. The parking lot at this shoppers is a little wacky getting in and out but I like the large number of self checkout counters. read more

Overall I am not a fan of Shoppers but I must note that this is a nice location. I would recommend everything outside of the meats (personal preference). The store is clean, there is plenty of parking and the staff members are attentive. This is a decent Shoppers! read more

All I can say is this is the most poorly managed shoppers in the area. How do you not have one cashier working everyone is not able to go through the self checkout but. Yet you force your customer to use it. With limited use of one hand it was very hard to get all the items bagged. When I went to check out there was not one light on indicating a line was open and when I approached a worker she directed me to self checker. As I was leaving I approached a manager and asked him why there was no line open he just shrugged his shoulders and said she was probably in the restroom with no care on the world. See how the manager reacted to my question let's me know why this store is ran the way it is. I will be going to the shoppers on Fort Mead from now they are better staffed and there is always multiple lines open. I will also be contacting corporate and the ADA because I strongly feel my ADA rights were violated. read more

Nice, big place. We came here on the Saturday before Easter and it wasn't that crowded. If you don't know the store layout it can be a little daunting and there are some things you can get here you can't get elsewhere and things that you can get elsewhere that you can't get here. Prices are OK but certainly not super cheap. All in all a good grocery store with plenty of parking. read more

First of all, "Food Warehouse" is a terrible name for this place. I could understand if they had really low prices or a huge selection, but they don't so the name is misleading in addition to being unappetizing. Pros: It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful for the most part, the ribs are pretty good at the hot food bar, and they always have a good price on bananas (59 cents a pound). Cons: The salad bar is kinda underwhelming in both selection and quality (but it's priced high - $4.99 a pound if I remember correctly). They never have good specials (typically it's 20 cents off for an item in the range of $3- $5). A teeny tiny discount like that is not enticing to me. Also, their regular prices (except bananas) seem high, especially for a "warehouse". read more

Sometimes it's fairly crowded. This place plays the walmart move of having endless registers, but only a couple will be in service. Even the self check out registers will have a bunch closed. I don't think most people need some tender love as they pay for their items just a speedy process with more registers open to get out fast. read more

Really great grocery store the managerial staff produce and meat managers are definitely five star all the way very good customer service one of the finest grocery stores in the Laurel area always kept clean if you're in the Laurel area give this grocer a stop in,you won't be disappointed. Employees are very nice and helpful however you have to watch the expiration dates on everything. I went in around 8:30 am last Monday and there were no cucumbers, green peppers, asparagus and the bagged salads were "use by" the day before. I bought a bag of grapes and the center stems with grapes were brown when I got home. Unfortunately it's the only store close by when you need to run in and run out to grab something. It takes forever to find expiration dates on everything these days. I hope a new grocery store will be going in where the old Weis used to be. This Shoppers hasn't always been this way. This location is convenient. Great customer service especially from Francis, Mike, Degraft. The aisle are always stocked. At times the wait can be long because there are not enough cashiers other than that the fruit is always fresh.. Lastly, the choices of fruit and veggies is diverse. Try this location! read more

Shoppers is the place you have to run to quickly to grab something, i don't do my regular shopping hear. I go more to Harris Teater. Shoppers has good prices and it's a clean neat store. the location is convenient there is a lot of parking, but my biggest complaint is the wait in line. It's like rolling a dice. Sometimes I get there is no line, sometimes I need to wait what feels like 10-20 minutes just to get through because there is only 1 person on register read more

Do not spend your money in this place. I only go here as the last resort. I was in there the other day and the prices are ridiculously high for such a nasty dirty grocery store. Wegman's has better prices than this place. The floors are sticky. Lines are long. The employees look like they need showers. Also, management allows aggressive panhandlers to stalk patron on their property. Be careful entering an exiting this place. read more
