I think their frame prices are fair and their selection is great. When I inquired about prescription sun glasses, they said that they are expensive so I should consider Maui Jim sunglasses with readers instead, to save a few bucks. (I didn't even know they existed). I can stop by the office when they are open and drop off my glasses (even if they are sometimes in pieces), and they are fixed (or put back together) in a jiffy. An associate literally read aloud my options off their computer monitor, without clarifying the costs or features. When I selected the basic lenses, they said I didn't want those (then why even offer them?). I never really understood what I was getting or paying. I didn't even see an itemized receipt until I picked up my glasses ($275 for lenses, oof). It all felt rushed, opaque and like I was getting up-sold at a car dealership. If they would be more clear and transparent about lense options and costs (maybe put it all on a flyer you can hand to the customer), this place would be an easy five-star review.

We never got ONE phone call from them explaining the delay, instead we had to call them three different times! They told us the first pair got lost in the mail. (Really???) I called them AGAIN today only to find out they had arrived FIVE DAYS AGO, but NOBODY bothered to call us! She didn't greet me until I was browsing for 5 minutes though. She also never did offer to help, or to help after she was done with her current customer (I'll be right with you"). I literally browsed the entire 2 rows of sunglasses, tried on about 20 glasses while waiting to get an opinion and a question answered, to no avail. Ended up leaving without getting anything because I just didn't know how much longer I had to wait. Also, probably because others were left on their own to try on glasses etc., I found several glasses with makeup on the nosepads... These were some $300-$500 sunglasses... gross. Thankfully I had some antibacterial wipes on hand, but I really shouldn't have to. They probably need an extra worker and better cleaning schedule.

Most recently, I went to look at hydration supplies as I'm preparing to run my first marathon, and the woman who helped me was so informative and provided different opinions on products that might help me make a decision. There was no pressure to buy and despite my indecisiveness, she was very patient - even at almost closing time on a Saturday night! In addition to asking questions about running gear, I also asked her and her husband questions about races in the area. Since they're experienced runners, I figured they would be great resources for well directed half marathons and marathons, and sure enough, they were. While locally owned running stores are not always the cheapest (compared to online), they cannot be replaced. You aren't paying solely for the product at locally owned and operated running stores, you're paying for knowledge and service that can't be provided online. Quite often, performance running stores are really intimidating for more recreational runners and in some of the local running stores they really aren't that friendly. In my running group, we have discussed which stores pressure their customers to buy, which ones we don't go to because we feel the people that work there are 'running snobs', and which ones are not helpful - Endurance House is not on that list. I highly recommend runners of all abilities visit Endurance House, particularly new runners.

I have an unusual prescription but they had no problem taking time with me to get it right. They also have great kids glasses, my kids don't need glasses but if they did I would get them here! I also ride a Harley and have a great pair of sunglasses for the bike from them. I like the ones that wrap around your face. I have had problems with blurriness in my side vision when getting the wrapped ones from other places, but my new ones have awesome clarity. I would recommend everyone to at least visit them!
