The interior is rundown and has zero ambiance or decor. Its like eating in an shack The servers are scattered and need training! Tables are not fully set and you have to ask for utensils and appetizer/sushi plates and sauce dishes. The cook had no idea what he was doing and is not a trained teppanyaki chef! The food was overcooked and sloppy. The menu is Overpriced for the quality of product!!!!! The sushi was good It's just a mess! Don't recommend

We had 5:30 reservations at Shogun for my son's birthday. There were 10 of us. We had a short wait before everyone arrived. The waiting area by the bar could've of used a cleaning. We were all seated on time by a friendly hostess. Allen, our chef introduced himself he was young, witty, very entertaining, and an excellent chef. He kept our group entertained. The restaurant filled up fast. The salads and soups started off our dining were excellent. Allen was getting to know everyone as he was preparing the rice and our entrées, steaks, chicken, scallops and the shrimp all prepared expertly and cooked to our order by Alan . Our our dinners were all generous proportions way too much to finish. We enjoyed our choice of ice cream for dessert The staff was very accommodating, the food delicious but Alan was the headliner. Great evening A suggestion Shogun Palace should get new menus. They were worn and sticky, a good sprucing up in the and around tables is due. Still enjoyed our evening

We had reservations so we were greeted and sat right away. Our cocktail order came out right away our server Annabelle did an amazing job . Garvin was our amazing chef and I was blown away by how fun he made it , everyone at our table had a blast ! We all ordered different dishes, I got the New York steak and chicken, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly and it was so delicious !!!We were celebrating two birthdays and I'm so glad we came here it was a big hit ! Oh and they make the best raspberry martinis !

Giving the place four starts for the taste of food. Let's break it down , service is ok. If I could only rate the service it would be a 2/5. Requested multiple times a refill on drinks that never came. The place is loud , fun and you are sure to enjoy yourself. Moving on to the cooks and food. 5/5 The cooks are fun and really try to get you to have a good time. They toss food in your mouth and make silly jokes ! Food is DELICIOUS!! The rice , veggies and meat was everything for me. I would return ! Service from waitresses could definitely improve !

Been coming here for years. I'm here right now and got my drink salad and soup. Mind you it been an hour already. No Chef! I'm about to walk out of here if i don't see a Chef in 15 min. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK AFTER I LOOKED DOWN AND SEEN THIS! cross contamination!!! I hope the person i told got up and left!

Food was delicious. Accommodating for a group of 7, with one being vegetarian. Our chef Juan was very funny and friendly.

Instead, I'm paying premium prices to sit under fluorescent lights and question my life choices. The "Combo" Math that Isn't Mathing Then there's the pricing logic--or lack thereof. Why does a chicken and steak combo cost 20% more than the steak plate alone? * Standard Logic: A combo price should land somewhere between the cost of the chicken and the steak. * Kyoto Logic: "Since you want both, we're going to tax your indecisiveness." Either they have zero respect for their customers, or they're catastrophically bad at math. I'm betting on the latter. Honestly, I could buy a Blackstone grill for the cost of three or four visits to this place. The "Service" (If You Can Call It That) To top it off, the customer service is abysmal. The staff acts personally offended by your very existence. Even the older gentleman--who I assume is the owner--is the worst of the bunch. He radiates a vibe that says, "I hope you choke on that brown rice." Final Verdict: This is the last time they get a dime from me. I'm taking my business to my backyard.

We were seating at a regular table, but still able to order the teppan items. It was just made to order and served entrée style inside of the whole experience you would probably get at dinner time. I ordered the 5oz New York Steak ($29) lunch teppan meal and it comes with fried rice, assorted veggies and miso soup. The food was prepared in a timely manner and my steak was cooked to the medium temp I ordered. It was super tasty and flavorful, but definitely on the heavy and oily side. The portion was large enough that I had leftovers for a subsequent meal. My coworkers who had chicken and shrimp versions of the experience also enjoyed their meals. Just to level set for expectations on the portion size. The gents finished their food, and the ladies had enough to take togo. Overall it is a splurge for a lunch but a good deal for teppan. Not something I would frequent because the nature of teppan can be oily and heavy, but I wouldn't mind coming back when my coworkers are in the mood for some teppan.

It's really nice to have someone who really knows how to make fried rice. Moist without being greasy flavorful and plentiful! Next came the veggies, a great mix of carrots, zucchini , bell Peppers and onions. Cooked and crisp at the same time. Perfectly seasoned and not mushy. I was impressed....
