My husband and I have always seen this truck but never really stopped, today we decided to stop and we're so happy we did! They have such Amazing service, amazing food, the ambiance was great! It was ready so quick! The gentleman even brought our food out to our truck since it was too hot to wait outside. We will be going back!

Amazing! Shrimp and scallops, hot noodles right put of the wok, perfect fried rice, squash/onions

Seriously? A seafood heavy truck in Bakersfield that rolls around the breweries? Was so happy to meet the Navy Vet that started it all. I've only tried the scallops and shrimp meal but it comes out piping hot with noodles, rice and a veg which I believe was squash on this night. I loved talking to the owner, took some pics as the biz is brand new and memorized the lobster dish. That will be my next order. Not a cheap meal but seafood is not inexpensive. Worth it. Found them by a happy accident one night at Dionysis brewery. The paint job of the truck is just too cool, too. Black and blue complete with ocean theme. Love it.

Steak and shrimp

Do not remember the last time I had teppanyaki and was super excited to try them. It was our first time at trivia night at 2nd Phase and will keep coming back. There are plenty of options to choose from and for the first time I wanted to try steak and shrimp. The shrimp were perfectly tender and with a touch of the spicy Mayo heavenly. The steak was tender as well and found it best with an onion or too. Really appreciate that the vegetables were not mushy and over cooked, they still had some bite in them. The fried rice was well seasoned and a great sponge for the steak juices (only complaint is it did not have bacon). Not only is the food great but the service was fast and super friendly. Try them out!!!

It was okaay, we got the combo with shrimp steak & chicken and it was drenched in sauce! Next time I go I would probably request the sauce on the side!

I was very disappointed. I paid $30 for my plate of chicken and rice and I could not even eat it. The rice was swimming in oil and the chicken had no flavor. Definitely not worth $30 per plate

Been wanting to try them out and saw they were set up at one of the breweries so went for lunch. Friendly customer service, smelled amazing, menu very clear and not jumbled with too many or few options. Paid with card and wasn't given opportunity to tip when it was ran so felt bad (didn't have any cash). Now on to the food review... Shared a steak and shrimp combo plate with an add on order of chicken. I was told shrimp had amazing flavor and 2 thumbs up (I don't eat shrimp), steak was tender with light flavor, personally I prefer more but with the sauces it was much better, chicken was tasty. The ginger sauce for the shrimp was and we were given a Sriracha aiolo type of sauce that was 1000% bomb. The rice was a little dry but still good and the veggies were fabulous, perfectly cooked with plenty of flavor. I will stop by and eat off their truck again! #VeteranOwned

Don't waste your money.

Very disappointed. Paid $15 a plate for this. Meat was over cooked and rice was not cooked all the way through or burned. Literally got 7 little pieces of meat and about a 1/3 cup of fried rice. I was especially disappointed at the fact that when I ordered the food containers they were using were a larger size and by the time I got my food, which took about 30min, they started using smaller containers but did not adjust their prices. Bad business practice + bad food = bad food truck.

Menu and contact info.

Excellent service and great quality food that you wouldn't expect from a food truck. Veteran owned and operated. Ordered the 'First Class Deluxe' which included Filet Mignon, Lobster, and Shrimp. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend and would come here again. Location changes based on the day of the week. Make sure you check their IG or call ahead to

Great food truck! The serving size is enough for 2 people. I tried the combo which included shrimp, beef and chicken.

This placed served bad strip streak drowning in teriyaki sauce. Save yourself and don't go.

He went over our plates and started the show, which we enjoyed. I would have loved to give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately there was an issue with the meat portions for my brother and my husband. When my brother brought it to the chef's attention, the chef removed meat from my husband's plate and gave it to my brother. I honestly did not find that appropriate. The correct way to handle the situation would have been to bring out additional meat to fix the mistake, not take food directly from another guest's plate. While we are family what if we weren't? What if we had just met at that dinner? I suggest handling these types of errors in a more hygienic and professional manner. With better attention to this, the experience could truly be a 5 star one.

Instead, I'm paying premium prices to sit under fluorescent lights and question my life choices. The "Combo" Math that Isn't Mathing Then there's the pricing logic--or lack thereof. Why does a chicken and steak combo cost 20% more than the steak plate alone? * Standard Logic: A combo price should land somewhere between the cost of the chicken and the steak. * Kyoto Logic: "Since you want both, we're going to tax your indecisiveness." Either they have zero respect for their customers, or they're catastrophically bad at math. I'm betting on the latter. Honestly, I could buy a Blackstone grill for the cost of three or four visits to this place. The "Service" (If You Can Call It That) To top it off, the customer service is abysmal. The staff acts personally offended by your very existence. Even the older gentleman--who I assume is the owner--is the worst of the bunch. He radiates a vibe that says, "I hope you choke on that brown rice." Final Verdict: This is the last time they get a dime from me. I'm taking my business to my backyard.

We were seating at a regular table, but still able to order the teppan items. It was just made to order and served entrée style inside of the whole experience you would probably get at dinner time. I ordered the 5oz New York Steak ($29) lunch teppan meal and it comes with fried rice, assorted veggies and miso soup. The food was prepared in a timely manner and my steak was cooked to the medium temp I ordered. It was super tasty and flavorful, but definitely on the heavy and oily side. The portion was large enough that I had leftovers for a subsequent meal. My coworkers who had chicken and shrimp versions of the experience also enjoyed their meals. Just to level set for expectations on the portion size. The gents finished their food, and the ladies had enough to take togo. Overall it is a splurge for a lunch but a good deal for teppan. Not something I would frequent because the nature of teppan can be oily and heavy, but I wouldn't mind coming back when my coworkers are in the mood for some teppan.

The red wine reduction was soo yummy.
