Wow! Great food, entertaining chef Dad, very cool Japanese art! A wonderful experience...the more people with whom you go, the more fun the experience!

This visit was so much better than the first visit. Today, we attended dinner vs lunch and it seems the top hibachi chefs were on their A game tonight. Our chef had new tricks, incorporated some magic and added new humor bits I have not seen before at other hibachi places nationwide. I enjoyed the entertainment, the quality of food, and the presentation. Service with drinks, order taking, and getting a take out box was very timely. I am glad this restaurant stepped up with service and quality. I enjoyed my time at Shogun this evening.

I sat at the bar and had phenomenal service. I got the Aragon burger with a tallow fries, covered in bacon jam! I will have to say, this is one of the better burgers I've ever had in my life. It came out very hot, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The sauce is super yummy. But it's a grilled onions that really make it. The fries came out hot, crispy, and very tasty. This is a phenomenal restaurant with some very good food. Unless you're lucky you get a seat at the bar, I'm sure reservations are required.

Service was very good. We were seated promptly and asked if we were ready for the next course at appropriate times. We had the 3 course dinner with the summer salad, lasagna Bianca and steak. I personally thought the salad was the best! The array of flavors was very satisfying from the crunch of the pine nuts to the smoothness of the ricotta to the tanginess of the dressing. Would highly recommend. The lasagna was good... but very one note... and that note is "richness". It didn't really taste like anything more, which in effect made it not much different from an ordinary lasagna I could make at home and not pay that much for it. The steak was not well seasoned, which I wouldn't have minded but the cook was a bit beyond the medium rare I asked for. Overall I probably would be back to try something else. But dish is still superior in terms of fine dining in Lincoln in my opinion.

Hostess was very prompt and we were brought into a private dining room for our dinner Our server Tatum was wonderful. She was very attentive and we enjoyed the service. Tasting menu can be found online and its 185 per person. We ordered ala carte. We ordered Crab sanchetti, grilled octopus, hamachi sashimi, tajarin dala forma and a 48oz steak to share. We had a group of 7. Ambiance was fantastic till the other party of about 10 came into the private room. They were very noisy and not very considerate. Our drinks came promptly. I had a midnight mist, hubby had the raspberry berret. And my mom in law had some red dessert wine. Food was fanstastic. The hamachi sashimi was delicious - super fresh. Oysters were absolutely delish very well shelled. The grilled octopus was tender and not overly cooked. The steak was tender and delicious in the au jus. The mash was whipped and absolutely creamy like cloud. We ordered the 48 oz ribeye steak to share it was delicious and they do slice it up for you so that it is easy to share. The spaghetti tajarin dala forma was made table side and the head of service explained what he was doing step by step. Unfortunately, this experience was marred by our neighbours for the night as they were enjoying themselves too much. The shisito pepper on the mash was nicely crusted and absolutely delish. Even the onion, and green onions were devoured. After that, we ordered dessert. I had the stone fruit chocolate tart and it was decadent. Chocolate with light mint. Absolutely delicious It came with a price tag though. Great for occassions- like birthdays and anniversaries when you want to splurge A wonderful experience! Thank you to all at the Casa Bovina. Definitely a night to remember.

My relative called earlier in the day and asked about getting a table, they took our name and how many and said we will see you then, it still may be a short wait but not bad. We all arrived and our table was ready almost no wait. Our waitress came by with her trainee and started getting drink requests. Then moved on to a starter and main course. She was perfect, did not miss a thing. Never an empty glass Ours food came out. I had the small prime rib rare mashed potatoes and corn. It was outstanding. Hot, fresh. We ordered dragonfruit sparkler. - delicious and refreshing (sweet) And i ordered salmon with vegetables and a sweet potato plain Salmon was just done right. Not overly dry- just cooked till done. The vegetables were broccoli and carrots. These were delicious. Usually in chain reataurants, these would already be much. This is my second time coming to get the sirloin steak special on Wednesday. I think they have redone the place. It looked like they had New chair, chairs and table tables and I think the carpet was even new. They had a black theme going on which I thought made it feel like a little bit more of an upscale steakhouse, but still with the country charm. Our server with so sweet and took care of us very well. She came back to check on us often and was very helpful explaining things on the menu. We all ended up ordering the sirloin steak. You can choose the side of your choice . Our sides varied a little bit because my one friend can't have gluten, so she ended up ordering the baked potato. they were very accommodating and understood about needing to be careful with even the steak as they cooked it, to keep everything gluten-free. My other friend and I got the potato casserole. It was pretty good, but I wished I would've gotten the potato because I love a good baked potato with my steak. The sirloin steak was a great size and mine was done to perfection. It was a little tough in spots, but that is to be expected with sirloin. The flavor was fabulous, though. We had a nice corner table with a view out the window. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and it wasn't too loud. They have a huge dining area so we didn't have to worry about if we were going to get a table or not. I want to come back and try some of their other specials. Check out their website, it tells about each special that they have Monday through Friday and Saturday night they have prime rib! Round the Bend Steakhouse is definitely worth the drive, especially if you want to get out of the city and enjoy a nice little drive in the country. Mahoney State Park is close. Also, the Air Museum is by Mahoney. And Ashland has so many cool shops and a winery and a brewery.
