My husband brought me there on the last day of their annual sale one time and persuaded me to buy a pair. I carefully selected a black leather easy walk shoes which I intended to use for both work and walk with my husband. I tried a pair in 7.5. My toes were touching the front and I tried hard to pull my toes back a bit. A sales lady told me that was the only size they had and was impatient trying to push me to complete a sale. My own pair of shoes that day was in size 8 and was comfortable. I was hesitant with this 7.5 SAS. She kept saying my own shoes were too big for me and that the easy walk in 7.5 fitted me well. At the end, I lost the battle and was coned into buying it. Every time I wear the shoes, I hate myself. The shoes were not cheap over $220 plus tax if I remember correctly. The leather is good quality and the shoes are comfortable inside. But I struggle to find more room in front of my toes. I wear the thinnest socks I can find every time. I wear it in occasions when I don't have to walk a lot for example sitting in the office because I expect my feet will expand after walking so the shoes will be even tighter. One day I wore it to walk with my husband as I don't have walking shoes. I had blisters all over my toes as I walked and both feet were sore for days. Now it can only sit on my shoe rack while I paid over $220 without a pair of shoes that I can use. This pair of SAS is my first and also last. I would not recommend this shoe store. For over $200, you can buy many trendy good looking comfortable shoes from good service sales people without trying to push you to meet their target.

Erik assessed how we both walk and run and fitted us for proper running shoes-- this is something no other footwear store (new balance etc) has ever done for either of us.... dyeing training for the sun run I noticed that I was no longer getting arch or shin pain and I wasn't straining my hamstring (which frequently happened in my old runners) I highly recommend this store to all of our physiotherapy clients as well as personal friends and family. She called over several employees and security to count my items because I scanned my cat litter with the hand scanner. She harassed me and embarassed me the last time I came here too, the exact same lady for the same issue. I put my dollar loonie coin token in the slot and the darn key lock wouldn't come out. Luckily it worked on the other cart beside it. They made a huge change in the checkout area where they converted a large portion of the regular registers into a huge self checkout area. Kinda disappointed at this change since i almost never use self checkout. Granted, it was a little late at 9:30pm, but there were no full serve regular registers available at the time. (only if you pay in actual cash, which i didnt have.) The staff person was nice and rung up my items for me after i requested help. Avoid Wal-mart's homemade pastries! Their cherry turnovers were improperly baked making them super hard to bite into. The amount of cherry filling inside was also lacking. I felt i wasted $6. As i was making my way to the parking lot with my items, i got a unpleasant surprise because there was that fight broke out between the security gaurd and some brazen shoplifters. The shoplifters ran into the wrong store door so it didnt open but they still managed to force themselves out eventually. The security guard tried to grab their stolen goods in a epic tug-of-war match and ultimately lost. The shoplifters got away! Kudos to the security gaurd for trying to stop them. It was a 4 vs. 1 tug of war so he was outnumbered. Also kudos for him vigilantly shooing away people that didn't wear a face mask, which was required, during covid19 . On the plus side, I found a good $2 off deal on shampoo. But best of all, I got a great deal on Purex toilet paper, and there were still plenty left. Got a few packs to use during the second pandemic wave. And yes, you can buy more than one! Score! Overall not bad...3/5.

I did not have high hopes as the brands they carried are similar to every other store I have been to. When I entered the store there were more sales reps than shoppers in the store and they were very welcoming without being pushy. The young woman that assisted me was the most considerate of reps and she knew her shoes. She measured my feet, asked a bunch of question, listened to my answers and said I'll go get some for you to try on. It was an interesting experience. She actually knew that shoes don't all fit the same from one supplier to the next and she knew that it might take several trips to the back for more shoes before she satisfied my slightly odd requirements.
