It's very clean, organized and well lit. They have rows upon rows of shoes- one on display with price, with all the sizes directly below. There really wasn't much in the Clearance section, but I did manage to find 2 pairs of shoes I liked. After trying them both on, I decided on some cute Sketches Platform wedges. Staff wasn't overbearing, but polite and friendly. When I was checking out- they asked me about the VIP program. I wasn't a member, so I was quickly signed up. This turned out to be a good thing, when a few months later, I ordered my husband shoes on the website. Not only was their price lower then anywhere else for the same shoes ( Converse high tops) but it also gave me free shipping, and points. When the shoes quickly arrived, I was pleased to find they had included 10$ off coupons for my next orders. I would of never of thought to order from the website had I not come to this location.

This place has a lot of varieties in shoes and boots during winter and sandals and pumps for spring. Prices are cheap and they usually have additional discounts on top. There is also a clearance section at the back of the store. Parkade is covered and free. Staff are helpful and friendly. Some sizes sell out pretty fast so if you have a popular size, it's best to just buy it.

They looked like a pair of shoes the Stray Cats band would wear. I would later on end up buying a pair of patent leather shoes. Not exactly what I was looking for but they were patent leather, which is what I really wanted. I actually took them to the downtown location, handed them to a sales person & said - they are still new, unworn & I have zero desire for them & then left. I didn't ask for any refund or credit I just wanted them gone like a bad rash! I had contemplated actually handing them over to the founder John Fluevog, who I'd occasionally see downtown. He's hard not to miss - tall & fashionable. Fluevog shoes are occasional - parties, tea party, weddings, costume party, or just plain wanting to stand out - cool like dat - while you're out & about. Keep in mind that these shoes can hurt the feet depending on how long you have them on for. We're not talking Nike Air Max quality but rather firm & solid type wear - so keep that in mind if your feet tend to be on the sensitive side. I mean it's like being on the Strip in Vegas - one is just not going to walk the whole Strip wearing red bottoms ... right!?! I heard that shoes are 50% off on top of what was already discounted. My sister found something that worked and for $10 with original price $100. What does that mean from a smart shopper like me, I have to check this place out. Well most things have already been picked out. So I thought to check them out, see if I can find something nice for my baby girl. I went in there, the store was empty, well of people of course, the store was filled with nice shoes. I saw two ladies chatting behind the counter, and I gave them a smile as I always do because I am a nice person (I believe!). And they COMPLETELY ignore me. So I thought ok, may be they are busy. So I when to the section where they keep kids shoes, which is on the other side of the store which is totally out of their sight. I was there for a good 5 minutes and they did not come to greet me or anything. So I just left and the whole time they didn't even look at me once. Self check: I was wearing my working cloths, carrying a cheap bag and in my old runners. So is that it? I didn't get service because of how I look? "I will go back and proof to them I can afford those $90+ baby shoes!" Wrong!! I will take my hard earned cash somewhere else, to those businesses that deserve to survive in this downward economy, who can provide they basic customer service including a simple "hello"
