They looked like a pair of shoes the Stray Cats band would wear. I would later on end up buying a pair of patent leather shoes. Not exactly what I was looking for but they were patent leather, which is what I really wanted. Gosh the 80s had so many oddly weird songs that became hits & we grooved to them! Looking back now - it's actually quite cringey & I won't admit to which songs I liked ... Anyway, I never wore those ridiculously pointed shoes outside at all - too unpractical & I would have been tripping over myself on every block cause the tip would have been catching every rise in the pavement. After being heavily embarrassed (he made me joke of the year) by a nephew who was rummaging threw my closet years ago & found my 'pointy shoes,' I finally said - I gotta get rid of them. I actually took them to the downtown location, handed them to a sales person & said - they are still new, unworn & I have zero desire for them & then left. I didn't ask for any refund or credit I just wanted them gone like a bad rash! I had contemplated actually handing them over to the founder John Fluevog, who I'd occasionally see downtown. He's hard not to miss - tall & fashionable. Fluevog shoes are occasional - parties, tea party, weddings, costume party, or just plain wanting to stand out - cool like dat - while you're out & about. Keep in mind that these shoes can hurt the feet depending on how long you have them on for. We're not talking Nike Air Max quality but rather firm & solid type wear - so keep that in mind if your feet tend to be on the sensitive side. I mean it's like being on the Strip in Vegas - one is just not going to walk the whole Strip wearing red bottoms ... right!?! Fluevog shoes are classic fashionable wear - so if you're wanting to stand out & make a scene - get here & get stylin'!

So I thought to check them out, see if I can find something nice for my baby girl. I went in there, the store was empty, well of people of course, the store was filled with nice shoes. I saw two ladies chatting behind the counter, and I gave them a smile as I always do because I am a nice person (I believe!). And they COMPLETELY ignore me. So I thought ok, may be they are busy. So I when to the section where they keep kids shoes, which is on the other side of the store which is totally out of their sight. I was there for a good 5 minutes and they did not come to greet me or anything. So I just left and the whole time they didn't even look at me once. Self check: I was wearing my working cloths, carrying a cheap bag and in my old runners. So is that it? I didn't get service because of how I look? "I will go back and proof to them I can afford those $90+ baby shoes!" Wrong!! I will take my hard earned cash somewhere else, to those businesses that deserve to survive in this downward economy, who can provide they basic customer service including a simple "hello"

It's very clean, organized and well lit. They have rows upon rows of shoes- one on display with price, with all the sizes directly below. There really wasn't much in the Clearance section, but I did manage to find 2 pairs of shoes I liked. After trying them both on, I decided on some cute Sketches Platform wedges. Staff wasn't overbearing, but polite and friendly. When I was checking out- they asked me about the VIP program. I wasn't a member, so I was quickly signed up. This turned out to be a good thing, when a few months later, I ordered my husband shoes on the website. Not only was their price lower then anywhere else for the same shoes ( Converse high tops) but it also gave me free shipping, and points. When the shoes quickly arrived, I was pleased to find they had included 10$ off coupons for my next orders. I would of never of thought to order from the website had I not come to this location.

I had driven along this Fraser Highway strip multiple times, but I had never been inside. A cute tiny boutique that boasts a selection of shoes and boots that all look to be high in quality and fashionable at the same time. The whole experience from start to finish was great! Kim was working that day, and she went above and beyond to find the pair of boots in my size. There were a few other customers in the shop and she had such a wealth of knowledge and helped them find the pairs of shoes that worked best for them. It was a joy to watch her in action. I was happy with my exchange, and I'm sure my next pair of boots with be from this location.
