There was an option to meet with one of the employees closer to my area since the store itself is far from me, which sounded convenient at first. However, even after already paying for the shoes in full, I had to wait 5 days to pick them up because the employee would only meet on his own time. I was even willing to drive directly to the employee's house just to make the process easier, yet it still felt like I had to work around them despite already being a paying customer. I let that situation slide and decided to purchase another pair -- the CPFM Black Air Force 1s. The owner told me the shoes would be shipped out on Thursday so they could arrive by Friday. I specifically needed them for an event on Saturday, but didn't sweat it because he mentioned that the shoes would've been shipped Thursday and received next day. After payment was sent, I received no tracking number, no shipping confirmation, and no updates whatsoever. I reached out to the store's Instagram page (@soldout_la) asking for a refund because at that point I no longer wanted the shoes after being told they had supposedly shipped. Instead of helping me directly, the page redirected me to another Instagram account (@icecoldsneakers), even though both accounts appear to be run by the same person. I messaged that page immediately -- before the shoes were even shipped -- requesting a refund due to the lack of honesty and communication, and I never received a response. The biggest issue here is the customer service and lack of transparency. Once payment is received, communication becomes extremely poor. Customers are told items are being shipped when they clearly are not, and updates are nonexistent. As of writing this review, I still have not received tracking information or the shoes themselves. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I understand delays can happen, but being ignored, about shipping, and having to chase down basic communication is unacceptable when customers are spending serious money.

Upon arrival, the store itself was not packed and not crowded. I had an online order to pick up from here so I stood in the regular line and waited for someone to assist me. Staff were ok; a bit on the dry side, I didn't feel they made the experience any better. The process went well, they asked for my name and then handed me my shoes. I tried them on while still in the store, so as to avoid a trip if they didn't work out, but to my surprise, they fit just right so I went home happy! The adorable chunky loafers that I bought today were also on sale on the website so the value and comfort for these shoes was satisfying! My visit for picking up order: 4/5 Parking lot is huge and lots of space **No public bathroom and there's a sign posted as well**

It's huge so it's super fun to explore. In the back outside it's beautiful too and it just feels like you're being transported to another world. So many things to choose from which I've scored some nice pieces. Clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories and so on. And everything was in place. Fast forward to today. Walking in, it was very overwhelming. Felt like things were a mess right when you walked in. At the front where the handbags sections were, things just hanging here and there. The selections and designers items seemed to have gone down. Didn't really see much as they used to have. There were a few higher end accessories, sunglasses but almost the same price as retail. The clothing sections as well was kind of everything together. Even though they had things sectioned off, it was like rumbling through the racks at Ross. Shoe department was a miss. There wasn't much of anything worth trying or even looking at. There was one or two pairs of shoes that was debatable for gifts but passed on it. It could just be me but the quality has seemed to gone down from prior years. It's not that nice luxury store for a steal of a deal anymore. Just feels like walking into Ross or Marshall's with the same things.

After calling the Malibu branch, I reached Ludo, who informed me they didn't have her size or the color she wanted. But he didn't stop there--he offered to track down a pair and mail them if he found them. He assured me her birthday would be saved and that we'd get her these shoes! To my surprise, he called the next day after tracking down a pair and mailed them right away, just in time for my girlfriend to receive them on her birthday. (He also included a very sweet birthday note.) The shoes went on to be, in her words, "the best pair of shoes I have ever owned." These shoes are fantastic, but equally fantastic are the people who sell them. Thank you again, Ludo!

He made them look brand new. He repaired the leather on the heels, replaced the heel tips, and even restored the red soles perfectly. As for the Harley-Davidson boots, the sole was coming off, and he glued it back on flawlessly and cleaned them up so they look amazing again.
