I was looking for a very specific shoe for a Halloween costume... They didn't have the high top versions I wanted but they had two low tops that would be totally fine. I tried on a few sizes in two different shoes (including kids shoes) and everyone was really nice helping me (especially the one guy working at the front but I'm sorry I don't know his name). Like, seriously the customer service was so nice and efficient and attentive without being weirdly fake, like it sometimes can be. They just paid attention to me and were chill and nice. Shoe palace, guys. The last time I went there, I got this really comfy Nikys. So comfortable I don't even want to take them off at home ! At first I was kind of suspicious whether their staff is truly willing to help me or they have an intention to make a sell no matter what. Anyways, all of them who work there are folks welcoming and polite, willing to assist you at anytime. Off course, Shoe Palace is in the very heart of Hollywood. Interior is nice, premises are bright and very modern. They have all kinds of shoes. I paid $130 for mine. And I didn't regret it ! Went to LA for a few days. Walked in looking for a new pair of shoes. Took my time looking around and finally decided on the nike air force 1 lv8 utility black and white and was super excited they had my size. They put my shoes behind the counter without showing me the shoes and when I went to pay the cashier checked they were both the same size & didn't show me the shoes. I already had a long day of walking around LA and didn't think of double checking the shoes. Come to find out once I got back to NYC that the pair they sold me were FAKE paid $110 for them when retail price is $70 for a 4Y which is the size I wear. Really upset about that. Wouldn't recommend this store or at least be careful when shopping there. read more

Great place to go if you're looking for a great deal on shoes! They have a huge selection and they offer great prices. I found a pair of Adidas NMDs here for $99 that I've seen for at least $120 at other locations. This place is located in a shopping center- there is garage parking, and if validated, it's like $3 for an hour. The shoe palace store admitted they sold me defective Nike shoes but refused to so anything about it. He told me that I have to contact Nike directly because he can't resell a defective shoe, yet they had no problem selling to me. Originally, I purchased a couple pairs of shoes from this location and one of the pairs had glue problems. One employee told me that he agreed the shoes were manufacturer defect but refused to return or exchange them. At the end of the day, this company sold a pair of defective nike shoes in Hollywood, Ca and would not do anything to fix the situation. It took about an hour out of my day dealing with this and I got nowhere. The manager did not care at all. I did not get an apology from anyone that worked at the store. I was treated like I was a criminal and I was a customer that bought multiple pairs of shoes. After this experience I would not recommend this store to anyone I know and I doubt I would ever buy shoes from this location again. Buyer beware of defective shoes. read more

Employee takes about 10minutes to comeback, and tells me it's lost in their inventory......Pause......what? How is that even possible? All I get is a mediocre apology. I recently visited this Shoe Palace, and I ran into one of my favorite employees, Darius! I remember seeing him at the Shoe Palace in Little Tokyo, and I just can't forget how amazing and kind he was (and still is!) He's always giving out positive energy and makes shopping there a great experience. My encounter with him earlier also reminded me of another wonderful employee named Kenya! I don't know what kind of impact Yelp reviews have, but I sure hope that both of these people get recognized for their TOP TIER service and personalities. Recently came here to pick up the new Jordan release. Staff was very intentional and resepectful. Jordan releases can be very stressful, but they took care of all their customers and the experience was a good one. Definitely going to go back for the next Jordan release that I'm trying to cop. DO NOT BUY SHOES HERE! They will not let you exchange shoes under any circumstances AND these shoes are not cheaper than what you can find on the Nike website (and get to return your shoes). Not very happy! My partner and i went into shoe palace as i was looking for a set of DC. But they didnt have the ones i wanted in my size. No big deal. My partner found a set of DC's she liked and asked the retail assistant for some help. She got the shoes she was after in the right size. So we purchased them snd left happily had a laugh.. When we got home back to Australia unpacked all of stuff we had noticed the sales assistant had given us the left shoe off the shelf without telling us! One shoe is brand new and the left one is faded has several marks across it.Very unimpressed! Pissed off would be a better choice of words.
