I visited the store recently. My 3 kids and I went in, to take a quick browse. Was never greeted by the two employees, which one looked like a manager. After 10 minutes of walking around in the store, one employee final comes over and asked if I needed help with something. No greeting, just that, to which I replied, that I was just browsing. As Im looking at some shirts, I noticed that the other employee, a male, is just watching our every move. What an uncomfortable environment to shop in, I grab a few shirts and headed to register. Completed my purchase and proceed to exit. No thank you or other sign of good customer service from staff. This is usually my go to Shoe palace but on Friday I went it and it was like an oven in there. I feel bad for the employees because you can tell they're going through heat exhaustion . It sucks that a multi million dollar company can't care more about their employees and the customers it makes shopping in there not enjoyable and you can tell the employees don't even want to be there and I don't blame them. I walked into this location, and I was literally the only person in there; the salesperson NEVER acknowledged me! 10 minutes into my visit I had to just leave. The store is clean, there's a lot of shoes to chose from, but the customer service is WACK! Ps: people in Compton also appreciate good service, so that same energy that you instill in your employees in the mall, needs to extend to the hood! read more

This is probably the worst Shoe Palace ever. Me and my friend were waiting for hours for a new release, which is the Jordan 1 Turbo Green. We had a proper line, respect one another. But somehow a bunch of people just walked and stood in front with their friends, cutting everyone. The employee didn't do anything because they know them. Later the manager/worker felt kind of guilty so they sold those people to get back in line (just to look right) then they hold good sizes for their friends. I asked for they smallest size, they said 10.5 was the smallest. I didn't buy any, so I waited in the car and see.... then I saw the people that are behind me got size 8. This is unacceptable. I waited for hours for nothing. Better change the manager or close the store. Not just me, a lot of people were angry too. This happened since the day before, which is the release of the Women's Jordan 1 UNC. read more

I have to agree on some of the previous complain, this manager at this shoe palace are way above the line of limit, I am a customer here because it in my local area I want to support my community local business, but seem like it not worth anymore I spend more than 16 hour waiting to get a pair of a jordan 1 unc women, I'm suppose to be number 10 but there are a couple teen pull up b4 the store close claim to be the district manager friend, and they don't even care who was there or what and ever even some of the employee come out and told them that I'm here b4 them they still don't care I thought the employee or manager whom ever here in the morning might solve this but seem like the kid was right they know each other so I end up behind him and didn't even get the shoe. And the next day I still go back for the Jordan 1 tubo green. But this time I was number 4 and guess what when the store open the same thing happen buy the same group of people pull up and stand in front of the line, but this time the manager play different trick because someone walk up and complain there were people cutting and it happen in front of her so she tell them to go to back of the line, but the funny think is only 4 people in front of me and when my turn they said they have only 10.5 and up no smaller and when I ask she said didn't received full size some or missing, and what even funnier is those people she told to get to back of the line which is way behind me walk out and try to sell the shoe they just got size 8 there are no mistake he open the box and deal with the guy right in front of my car and in front of the store I'm sure the camera will caught it the problem need to be solve read more
