This review is for the gentleman/ store manager. If you can't smile and treat your customers cordially, you're in the wrong industry sir.

Confession: I'm not someone who really likes to shop. I can get bored or overstimulated sifting…read morethrough even the cutest of outfits when in your standard shopping locale, which means I typically leave a store feeling grumpy and in dire need of a nap as opposed to floating out in elation over my stylish haul. This makes places like Chel Bella perfect for someone like me. Owner Chelsea and her staff have done the heavy lifting by stocking this beautiful boutique nestled in the heart of Hingham Square with a well curated selection of styles and designers. They've narrowed down the best options for every changing season so that I don't have to. Plus, they offer genuinely helpful suggestions in a way that feels like trying on clothes with your best friend as opposed to someone working on commission (Think more the polite version of "Yeah...hrrmmmm, maybe skinny jeans aren't for you- try bootcut!" than "Gorgeous- buy it all!") A South Shore go-to for everything from my favorite hard to find Red Engine Jeans, to Shoshanna frocks and JoJo baubles-- the store itself is sweet and loaded with pieces and designers I wouldn't always think to pick out but inevitably fall in love with when I do. The price point matches the offerings, so you can expect to pay standard boutique prices for the eagle-eye selections lining Chel Bella's racks.

Their recommendations for styling are spot on, they never pressure me to buy but want to make sure I have the right clothes for my lifestyle. I would say a substantial portion of my closet comes from this terrific boutique!!

I have been to this boutique for awhile now and I love it more each time I'm in!…read more Today it was the top priority on my agenda besides getting coffee! I came in with a mission to find leather pants for going out tonight. I looked around and saw more seasonal summer selections so I figured I'd ask. Carrie went downstairs and came back up with a wife selection of leather pants all 50% off too! I found the pair I tried before but didn't buy due to the price being a little high. But I got them and she accomodated my 2 year old with coloring and stickers. When you shop here you are treated like a queen! Thank you ladies for styling me again!!!

I've been DYING to check out Bliss ever since they opened a while back, and I finally got a chance…read morewhen we had a particularly long wait at neighboring Farmer's Daughter for brunch. The shop is reminiscent of cute boutiques on Bellevue Ave in Newport, RI or in the Hamptons, and is chock full of cute clothes, fun accessories, and adorable gift items. I had a lovely time perusing the racks upon racks of gorgeous and trendy pieces, and even though the full priced items were.. pricy, the sale selection was excellent. I often find that boutiques will put less than appealing items on the discount rack, but that's not the case at Bliss! Even though I didn't get any new clothes this time around, I'll definitely consider it for next time. What I did end up getting was an amazing enamel necklace that looks like a Ouija board planchet. My boyfriend, who is such a good sport to sit on a comfy couch whilst I shop, actually purchased it for me, and at $15, it was an affordable and super sweet present. I was joking that of course I found the only vaguely goth item in this bubbly and effervescent shop! The salesgirl, Ali, was great and very friendly as well, and made shopping at Bliss a total delight. My first visit here may have been loooooong overdue, but it certainly won't be the last!

The service at Ports & Company is amazing…read more I'd been searching for a dress for a February wedding, and Ports & Company was the 10th store I'd tried. I wish I'd thought of them sooner. Not only did the staff at the store help me find a beautiful dress, but the dress was also on sale! Ports & Company is also a supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter. They provide the clothing to the models in the "Fashion Plates" fashion show and fundraiser. To see pictures of the clothing that was modeled from Ports & Company in 2011 and 2010, visit http://www.nationalmssociety.org/chapters/mam/fundraising-events/fashion-plates/index.aspx The dress I ended up purchasing was one of those modeled at Fashion Plates. (Attending Fashion Plates as a volunteer is how I first heard of Ports & Company.) I'd recommend Ports & Company to women who are looking for clothing and/or accessories that are different from what they find at chain department stores.

They will tell you what looks good and when to try something else on. Very hard to find in retail. Lisa the store owner is there every time I go and has an unbelievable fashion sense. For any occasion you can find the perfect accents to your outfits!
