Great . . oh, but you might see the very same item on their in-house online selling account, and at a higher price than your item was "sold" for. No point in asking what's going on, because there are no answers, just deflection, deflection. When you finally give up on consigning, as I did, and ask very politely for the funds from your last sale, expect to receive nothing. Because "you don't have enough in your account so you'll have to ask the owner". Ask the owner for the funds from my own consigned items, but "it's unlikely he'll make an exception"? It's an interesting business model, I grant you that! For me, another hard lesson learned! If you're shopping for bargains, it will only benefit you. If you want to turn over a few of your nice things- nope!

I was taken to the back to speak with the manager about it, and right away got looked at up and down and laughed in my face. i felt completely disrespected and a little embarrassed. i told them it's no problem, and continued to look around the store. There is a little bit of a parking area here, but otherwise you'll need to do the street. The place is a little small, and they do have some deals. It was unfortunate that there was nothing that I was looking for at the time, for that they didn't have the size that I wanted. They do offer a free drink with every purchase which is kind of cool. I don't know why this location is also called a multi-service center. That name makes sense in Hull, where they provide a number of necessary services to the community. It's a wonderful charity and they do great work. This is a smallish shop, and like any thrift store, you never know what you're going to find. Today I went to get some yarn. I got 3 skeins, a pair of Lands End pants, a birthday card, and a hand-crochet throw all for $7. There's a parking lot with a number of spaces. Note: make an appointment to donate goods; they don't accept drop-offs. If hunger hits, there's a good Chipotle-style Mexican place next door. Also, it's only a few miles from the highway. When we went in, both staff members were friendly and super helpful. They let us know there was more downstairs, didn't even realize there was a downstairs! I picked out a great top and pants for my husband and he picked out a cute dress with jean jacket for me. The clothes were weather appropriate but there are also options for cold weather in various spots because it was still getting cold at night in Boston. The probably best part was all the art that was available from independent artists. I got so many stickers and posters to gift and hang in my house. Cat tarot cards are great and I'm so happy we stopped in here because the vibe was 10000% better for us than other thrift shops. I also got book earrings, an elephant bracelet, and another pair of earrings. . The prices are reasonable and there's some great things in there even from the 90s.

I came in with a mission to find leather pants for going out tonight. I looked around and saw more seasonal summer selections so I figured I'd ask. Carrie went downstairs and came back up with a wife selection of leather pants all 50% off too! I found the pair I tried before but didn't buy due to the price being a little high. The shop is reminiscent of cute boutiques on Bellevue Ave in Newport, RI or in the Hamptons, and is chock full of cute clothes, fun accessories, and adorable gift items. I had a lovely time perusing the racks upon racks of gorgeous and trendy pieces, and even though the full priced items were.. pricy, the sale selection was excellent. I often find that boutiques will put less than appealing items on the discount rack, but that's not the case at Bliss! Even though I didn't get any new clothes this time around, I'll definitely consider it for next time. What I did end up getting was an amazing enamel necklace that looks like a Ouija board planchet. My boyfriend, who is such a good sport to sit on a comfy couch whilst I shop, actually purchased it for me, and at $15, it was an affordable and super sweet present. I was joking that of course I found the only vaguely goth item in this bubbly and effervescent shop! The salesgirl, Ali, was great and very friendly as well, and made shopping at Bliss a total delight. My first visit here may have been loooooong overdue, but it certainly won't be the last!
