I went here to get three baseball jerseys personalized on the back with a number and last name. I walked in a little bit worried because of the wide range of reviews I read on here, and really didn't have the time or options to have these jerseys messed up since they were for my daughter's 1st birthday party and I bought all three items online for the party. If he destroyed one of them, then I would be screwed because there wasn't enough time to get another one and I would be pretty upset about that anyway because none of these were cheap. Anyway, I decided to give them a shot. First impress when walking in is that there are tons of jerseys up for sale here. I didn't spend much time looking around, but it seems like some of the pricing is pretty decent as well. Tons of different teams and players. When I walked to the front, there was one man working and I started explaining to him what I wanted on the back of the jerseys. I was feeling vulnerable, like I said, because I really needed this done right. I went into detail explaining what I wanted, and he sort of shrugged me off like, "I know what I'm doing," kind of thing. I showed him photos of what I wanted the numbers to look like and then another phone of what font I wanted the last name done in. Again, he acted and might have even said, "I know, I do this all the time." He finally pointed out that exactly what I was looking for was what the Raiders do on the back of their jerseys. When he pointed this out, I said, "Yes, exactly!" and felt more validated because it proved that he was listening. It would have been more reassuring if he would have pointed out the different options of designs, for example, and I could have pointed out one of them to make sure he and I were on the same page. He told me the price (this was slightly more expensive that other places I got quoted, but he was going to be able to get it done in "1-2 days" and was somewhat close to home) and that he would call me when it was ready. I think it ended up being about $44? Maybe a little more, I don't remember exactly. I walked out, a little bit nervous, but hoping for the best. The next day came and went and no phone call. It was getting close to the end of the second day, and I didn't get a phone call either, so I called the shop, and he told me it was ready. I was expecting a call, but that's fine, I went to pick it up. I looked at the back of the jerseys and they were about 90% exactly like I wanted. The color was sliiiightly off. It would have been great if he had something where he could show me the different colors he has available and I could pick the shade I wanted. The color I was looking for was a read that matched the embroidery on the front of the jerseys and his color was very close, but not exact. Secondly, the number and last name on the baby sized jersey was slightly too high. It had a collar, and where he put the last name/number, with the collar down, it did end up covering the name a bit. It was slightly frustrating because I feel like if he was more open to discussing my order with me, and not cutting me off as much, this was the type of thing we could have easily avoided. I want to point out where I wanted the number/name and he pretty much made me feel like none of that was important, that he got this, and it wasn't worth discussing. Thus is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. At the end of the day, the quality of the work was great.. even though the color and placements were slightly off, we were able to work with it, and it looked great in the photos. I do think the customer service could be vastly improved (with the lack of phone call and somewhat making me feel stupid for wanting my order to be precise), but at the end of the day, it worked and that was a relief. I probably wouldn't come here again, but not because of the experience, because I no longer live nearby. read more

Note, a personalized tee was ordered early on from another source online though due to unknown reasons, it was not going to be received in time before the party - hence the last minute trip to this store... The trip to Shirtique was a true SUCCESS! Earlier in the day, my sister-in-law called the store to inquire and was told it could be done though they did not have plain shirts for children aged around 12 months. We brought in a plain yellow polo-shirt. The young man and his father were VERY helpful with pulling up possible images to place on the shirt as well as providing suggestions for the font. I stopped buying all my plain black t-shirts from Walmart because over time the material and quality would degrade, and plus, the cuts were always a little off (sleeves that plunge out instead of rest on arms). I started coming here because the 4 for $20 was a much better deal than what I was paying for at Walmart but for shirt quality that keeps up wash after wash. I don't normally write reviews, but I just had to after the last couple times of coming here. The couple that owns the place is so incredibly friendly, and has always been the ones to chop it up whenever I come in. They have New Era caps and real ADIDAS NBA gear, along with the typical MLB and NFL jersey/jackets everyone else has. I have never in my life such a disgruntled, unhelpful, and egotistical business owner whose entire behavior appears to be a sad attempt to sabotage his own business. Where do I begin? I was attempting to get a sample t-shirt designed and printed for a promotional event and had inquired to the owner, Vadmir or (whatever your name is if you are reading this and I hope you are!), about the process. He suggested I email him the graphic file and specs and so I did. I expected to hear back from him some time during the day so that he can offer some feedback about the file to ensure my expectations are met when printed on the sample. However, no such conversation occurred and being as concerned as I was, I went down there in person after work and to my surprise he didn't even look at it yet despite being an extremely slow day!! Instead he kept telling me how it will be straight forward and that it should be ready the following day. I did not take too likely to his response and insisted he at least open the file while I was there. We proceeded to both look at the file and he claimed that everything was fine and that if there were any issues he would give me a call. Well... two days pass and nothing, not status update no nothing so I decided to go there in person and to my surprise he had the sample printed. However, there was one logo on the shirt that did not position itself correctly during the print. Before I could finish my comment, this old cranky fool had the nerve to blame the file I sent him as being the source of this error despite verifying design the day before! He clearly noticed the issue and admitted it but claim that error was in the file but did nothing about it. In addition, the fact that he did not call during the printing process makes his workmanship all the more shady. Anyway, after that remark, he simply walked away without an attempt to reconcile the issue leaving me speechless. Well guess what! now you lost an order for 100 shirts and I hope this review will discourage others from placing print orders with you because you clearly show that you are incapable of taking your work seriously. read more

4 stars because I am a fan! I came here within a 6 days before my trip. I was nervous they wouldn't be able to complete what I asked for in time. At first, I felt that Ninad (the gentleman who printed the shirts/maybe owner?) was super busy and I was a bit nervous to ask. In fact, I never got a call when it was completed so that just added more to my plate... However, in the end he accommodated with my hectic schedule and printed out wonderful quality shirts right before I needed them! Ninad may be a busy man, but he gets the job done! He was able to print 6 team shirts (with front, back and sleeve details) in 4 days. At the end of the day, I truly believe they do good work here and will definitely consider repeated business with them again! read more

First of all, If you were there it never came out of the professionals mouth it wouldn't show up. An employees job is to give valid information and letting the customers know the risks or concerns if it was feared an issue. I would have sided with the employee and went with something else if it was explained to me by the employee. Second off, never came off rude. Just think it's ridiculous having to pay for something that didn't come out right (as seen in the picture). For example, I went to the shirt printing store in the mall and was told it was a bad material to print on so I went and got a different shirt in a different material. Simple as that. If that was the same experience in this case I would have gotten a different blanket or went with something with what was suggested by the employee. Employees should be knowledgeable and speak up if they're is any concerns of the product not coming out right. I work in customer service and understand mistakes happen but to make someone pay full price and not even try to fix the issue is poor customer service. A blanket that was paid separately is now wasted money for. This situation put both the employee and especially myself being a customer in an uncomfortable situation. I walked out paying for something that you can't even read. What was supposed to be a gift turned out to be a great cleaning product for removing dust. And more money spent to get a new blanket and go somewhere else. I believe if you're paying for something you should get what you want. And to accuse someone of lying is really professional on your part and if you're an employee I'll make sure to list your name down in my case with the better business bureau. read more

Everything that i have asked shirtique to design has come out great. the prices arent bad either, they base it on what you would like, they tell you up front what an estimate would be, they also write it down so it wont be miscommunicated just in case someone new end up helping you out another day. Its great that they can either have you pay before or pay after the order is just just in case you werent happy with the results. Honestly the WORST place to get Bay Area sports gear. Horrible service/quality of product (especially for the price you're paying) and would not recommend to anyone. Clothing is not good quality and seems fake/ripoff material especially when paying $30-50. Service is horrible, employees don't care and treat you poorly. Return/exchange policy is ridiculous! Bought a shirt, was too large. Came in within 7days of their return policy, still did not have my size. They said I could come back late and they would still honor my exchange even though it was pat the return policy. Came in 2 days later, still did not have my size but also would not honor return policy even though they claimed they would! Ridiculous! Employee was rude about it too, she laughed in my face and said, "Go wash it so it will shrink!" RUDE. Would not even check the back or offer any compensation! Horrible, horrible!
