They had amazing service and an awesome atmosphere. Even in the "winter" they were friendly and delightful. The food was great. We had the stir fry and Jolly Roger burger with kettle chips. Both were amazing and flavorful. Ps the brownie with peanut butter frosting is a little like heaven! read more

Everyone in this restaurant looked like they had run over their cat in the driveway before coming to work. The service was extremely unfriendly (never once smiled, never said thank you/you're welcome, never came to check up on the table, etc.). The food was mediocre; I can barely make Mac-and-cheese without burning down the house and I'm convinced I could have made better food. The buns were dry and I had a piece of bad lettuce in my sandwich. The coleslaw was unseasoned, too vinegar-y, and bland. The positives: music was good, fries were nice and crispy, the upstairs floor had a nice breeze with the windows open, and the bathrooms were clean. read more

We went to Shipwreck on the recommendation of a friend and weren't terribly impressed. The microbrews are okay, but nothing special. The Cherry Wheat Ale was good, but drinking out of a plastic cup definitely took some of the luster off. The food was standard pub food. I ordered the bratwurst and my wife had the burger, both of which were good, but not terribly unique. The waitstaff was friendly and very efficient. Head over if your in search of some pub food and looking to try an ale. read more

Went here for a smaller lunch. We should've gotten burgers or a salad, but we got 2 appetizers. 1. Chicken Drummies - gf ordered these. They were fried chicken legs, and we thought the sauce would be on it, like most wings, but it was a side dipping sauce. We had the asian dipping sauce. It was good, but thought if it was actual dipping sauces, then we should be allowed to pick multiple. 2. Seafood Quesadillas- I was a little apprehensize about these, and my intuition was right. They were pretty average, and the shrimp was avg. quality. But, the whitefish in it was good. Kinda random, but the salsa was awesome, but we didn't taste that till the end. Overall, it had a great patio, but we think we ordered the wrong things. A little bit pricey too- read more

Shipwrecked Brew Pub - Gluten free menu! #eggharbor - American Near Me - Egg Harbor, Wisconsin

My review is about the beer and the Inn. This place is located in the heart of Egg Harbor. It has your typically bar food menu and has a large patio for outdoor seating. It's within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. Across the street is the Chocolate Chicken (fudge, ice cream, coffee) and a block from Moja Rosas (burgers, Mexican, pizza) which had a good selection of beers and seemed to be the late night hangout spot. We didn't eat here, but we did sample the beer. As others have mentioned, the beer was okay. Nothing really stood out as exemplary. Samples did arrive in plastic cups but that didn't bother us. As for the Inn, there are 8 rooms to choose from of varying sizes. We stayed one night in Room #4 which had a queen size bed and was nicely furnished. It was air conditioned and had a hair dryer in the bathroom. No coffee maker or fridge. Noise from the street wasn't an issue for sleeping here despite the place being along the main drag. Noise from patrons downstairs could be heard so if you are a light sleeper you might want to look elsewhere or have earplugs handy. Nice accommodations for $89 a night (peak season). Solid 3 star rating for the Inn. read more

Got the beef brisket and my wife got the pulled pork. Beer was great! Id get a burger instead next time. read more

This is a post-mortem review. Shipwrecked was terrible and the biggest tourist trap in Door County. Everything is straight off a Sysco truck I am guessing. Maybe after the new building is completed they will consider producing some quality food. read more

We made a quick stop here for lunch on a winter weekend. Everything about this place was average to below average including the drinks, food, atmosphere, and service. read more

I'm so glad we got to stop by Shipwrecked today for lunch. We were seated quickly and had drinks on the table just after we ordered them. The crab cake sandwich was tasty, the fish sandwich was overstuffed and the bratwurst sandwich was great on the pretzel bun. Be sure to try the chips with ranch seasoning. read more

Great food and good service. Pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw is very good. Good cheese curds. We went there twice during the weekend we were in Door County. read more

Great atmosphere, good beer and food, awesome fries! We'll definitely be back here every year!

The service was decent, but the food was dry, hardly warm, and stale. The drinks were also very average. Wouldn't recommend.

Bad news: Shipwrecked's landmark building was badly damaged (the Green Bay Press-Gazette's story goes so far as to use the word "destroyed") in a fire on August 20, 2017. The owners say they hope to rebuild and reopen next year. Good luck to 'em; we enjoyed the place on our last Door County visit! read more

Good beer selection. The service was average HS/college summer help level - ok for a vacation speed. The food choices were varied but was hoping for more local stuff. The outdoor dining area had a nice view of the bay read more

The food and atmosphere was great. Slow service at bar and table after being seated. The new building is very nice. I am sure they will speed up service after being open for awhile. I will give it another try. read more

We attempted to order food online and received a confirmation email that it would be ready in half an hour. We came back to pick it up and was told it would be another ten minutes. We waited but then were told that our order never printed out for them and didn't "go through". I showed them the confirmation and we ended up waiting another 20 minutes for our food to be made. There were others waiting in the lobby a very long time as well. After all of this, the food was extremely mediocre. read more

To start with I was warned by a friend that this place was overrated, but I am a craft beer guy and almost always choose a microbrewery to eat at if available. Well, I am usually not steered wrong in my picking because if they care enough to make good beer, they care enough to make good food. WRONG AND WRONG! Beer=flat, warm, and uninspired. Food=bland bar food, burnt kettle chips. Service=fair. Not great, but they weren't very busy either. Would I go again? Nope. read more

Great hamburgers wish they would have a senior day. Kind of pricey for us folks. Great food and staff read more

Good food and nice craft beers. Loved the fried cheese curds!! The meatloaf was delicious, not your typical variety.

After a long day of hiking we wanted a good lunch. Food was less than mediocre and service was poor, along with completely overpriced and crowded. Definitely will not be back. read more

Good food, great atmosphere, friendly service. Try the tavern burger and cherry cider!

Great refreshing cocktails and beer. Totally "Shipwrecked" and friendly atmosphere. Definitely get Growler to go!

I usually try to eat here at least once a year in the summer preferably, ( I live in Green Bay, its almost an hour away). The restaurant is very nice and in my opinion it has million dollar views especially of the water, especially the table where they usually seat me. The food just so, so just ok the service is ok could be a little bit better, the servers where kind of busy but if swamped should tell host not to give them extra tables, the beer was good but the server took like 15 minutes to bring it to my table, I saw the beer sampler at the bar window sit there for about 15 minutes before my server brought it to me, I reordered the beer that I liked from the sampler and it wasn't cold enough I mean it's summer and about 85 degrees outside. Bottom line is the views alone are worth it. I'll keep coming back here more often and order different items until I find a couple that I like and I'll stick to that. Maybe then I'll give them 5 stars. At home I usually gravitate to the same couple restaurants one of them the Olive Garden were the Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken Scampi are really good better than anything I have ever eaten in this restaurant but the lasagna at the Olive Garden yuck I don't like it at all it tastes to me like they use the worst ground beef possibly in their lasagna, so I reiterate because of the views I'll keep coming back to this restaurant hoping to find a couple of items that I could love and come back more often Shipwrecked = million dollar views read more

The new building is nice, however, the wait for food was way too long. The new building needs some shade on the windows facing the bay! The sun was awful! They were out of several items on the menu by dinner time, many were ones members of my party were planning on ordering. When we finally got the apps, which took forever, the amount you got for the $ not worth it. Food was average and our waitress needed reminding after we requested things like napkins and refills of drinks. Disappointed read more

First timer here. Hostesses didn't tell me about upstairs so they sat me near the brew room. Wanted a Spotted Cow beer but waitress recommended their own ale. Not good. Heavy, almost syrupy taste. Cloudy appearance. Two sips was all it took. Got a Bud Lite just to be safe. She brought me the bottle. Asked another waitress for a cold beer glass. My waitress then brought me a glass that had water dripping all over it. Said she iced it down. Needless to say, it wasn't cold. After she left, the other waitress brought me an ice cold pint glass from the upstairs bar. Sweet! Ordered the Smelt Fish basket with coleslaw and tartar sauce. The coleslaw had a fish sauce after-flavor that left a bad taste in my mouth. It had almost an oily texture. Smelt were old or just really bland. Maybe it was the beer batter, I'm not sure. I ate maybe five pieces of smelt and pushed the basket away. Ate a couple fries. Ordered a side Caesar Salad just to get rid of the bad taste. Waitress seemed pained about everything, like why did I get this guy. Single diner taking up one of my four tops. Hostesses gave the same impression up front when I asked for a table and didn't take their advice to sit at bar. Atmosphere is open, airy and clean. I just saw the waitress deliver meatloaf to another table. I should have ordered the meatloaf. All told, with tip, $33. One person. Good thing I'm just an out-of-towner that's not coming back. read more

Beer is not awful, though not impressive for a microbrew. The food - we ordered burgers - was extremely underwhelming. Frozen grocery store patties that I wouldn't let touch my Weber back home here are sold for $10. I won't be going back. read more

Best New Year's Eve dinner ever. Great beer and dinner. Anyone who rates this place under 4.5 stars is weird. Update. 3 years later. We took the kids there after swimming all day for appetizers and a few beers. We have 4 little ones and it's a short walk from The Landing where we stayed. Again great food and beer. Staff was very accommodating to our 9,7,4 and 2 yr olds. Water view from the windows upstairs. They have an elevator for kids and seniors. I suspect the negative reviews are from when they first reopened after the fire. They probably tripled the seating and had growing pains. Our waitress was very helpful after my 4 yr old fell asleep and dumped his kiddie cocktail on me. It might not be world class food but it's great food with friendly service. The view helps too. Seven stars. read more

Quality, tasty food. I enjoyed the pumpernickel patty melt and french fries. My companion liked her BBQ bacon cheeseburger. It was a sweet barbeque, not tangy. Food came out really fast. Server was attentive. Would return. read more

We had a nacho thing and it was quite interesting. The facility was brand new and pretty cool. Patio area perfect for sunset.

Those who expect something fancy, why did you come to Shipwrecked. Scratch that, why did you come to Door County? It's not supposed to be fancy and 5-star quality. It's supposed to be fun and laid back. I've been coming to this place every year we come to Door County for the 4th, which is almost every year. I always sit outside. And I love it here. No, the food isn't food network worthy, but its a pub. The fried cheese curds are wonderful. The staff is beyond friendly. I will always come back here. read more

What a wreck this place is! Friday night dinner in the off season, can't imagine how bad it is when they are busy. We had 6 people. Our waitress had 2 other tables MAX. Started off good, but then she brought a tray full of food and no tray jack- asked us to help her get the stuff off the tray she was holding! 3 people needed refills- took over 15 mins to find our waitress again and asked her and she laughed and said I better get a tray! She went MIA again so we finally found a different waitress to give us refills. She was a terrible waitress. Food at this restaurant is mediocre at best. I'm sure she thought she did fine since we have her 15%, but usually I have 25% so she could have got a lot more. Never will be back there again. Don't go it's not good food and service is awful! read more

20-ish minute wait for lunch for 2 on a Saturday afternoon, not bad. Went to the bar to grab a drink - seasonal pumpkin weakly flavored and disappointing. Burger was decent, fries were better - good seasoning. Slow-ish service, had to ask for waters and several other needed items. Not told the Brown Ale had a $1 upcharge when ordering a 1/2 pint, just showed up on the bill and had to ask what it was for. $10 to mix your own 6-pack, but then didn't have all varieties available in the bottles. If Shipwrecked is your thing, buy it at the liquor store; I didn't find the brewpub to be impressive or worth a separate trip. read more

I expect a certain level of foodie splendor when I dine. I love food, so I am serious about every meal I consume, whether it is a sampling of various appetizers or sharing different entrees. I up the ante when I vacation in a place like Door County. The fast food joints fade into the background as you leave the city limits of Sturgeon Bay, and you have only independently-owned establishments ahead. There is nothing but time in the sleepier towns of Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Sister Bay, etc., so the quality of the food should be present. I figured that the throngs of famished tourists waiting 45 minutes + to dine on the patio of Shipwrecked could not be wrong. After dining at Shipwrecked, I felt like I had dined at a "fancy" fast food restaurant. Let me briefly stop to note that pub food does not have to mean frozen food (see: Christie's Pub if you need an example of what I mean). When reading the Shipwrecked menu descriptions, you anticipate being served some housemade specialties. My fellow diners and I ordered up the "Carnival Pretzel" and "Ze Spicy German." The menu informed us that we would be served a "jumbo soft pretzel smothered in our Bayside Blonde fondue..." A real jumbo pretzel to me is the one with the brown, crispy, crackled skin with the soft, spongy interior, and giant flakes of Maldon salt baked on top. "Jumbo" would also suggest that you will be surprised by the size. We were presented with a pretzel comparable to those "Market Day" frozen varieties that taste like--as did this one--shoe leather. The menu said it would be "smothered" in their cheese fondue. It was not smothered in the least. Rather, the pretzel sat atop a layer of orange cheese sauce. Fondue should be creamy and dense. The "fondue" in this case was reminiscent of Velveta. This was a disappointing translation from menu to plate. The spicy German bites were better represented. From menu to plate, there was no deception, and the sausage pieces were battered nicely. However, the mustard sauce was soupy. The kitchen would do better by serving a stone-ground mustard in place of the present dipping sauce. The Shipwrecked IPA does pair nicely with this appetizer. The wings that were also ordered were standard fare, and it did have a nice honey dressing that smothered its crispy skin. Here, "smothered" happened. Now, if the kitchen can work on their menu descriptions and have the plates stay true to them, they will gain some major points. Also, they will need to work on respecting their patrons by not pushing out food quickly to move people through quickly. As much as turnover is important, people still want quality food. I think the potential is there to make some amazing food. The microbrews prove that it is possible. read more

Booooooring. This place looks cool as you approach it. On the street outdoor seating with lots of tables and a cool charter boat feeling. They also microbrew their own beer but $50 a couple with only one drink (pregnant wife) and sandwiches with fires. I'm not feeling it. Our server sucked and needed a personality and I couldn't stand how many flies are in the inside of the restaurant. If I went again (most likely not) it would be probably for drinks or night life or to try another flight of their microbrews. Go for the beer not the food. read more

We walked in to watch the Brewers game to sit at the bar and the hostess immediately was rude to us. The first person that greets customers probably shouldn't be unpleasant to the customers, ruining a tip for the server. We left immediately. read more

The beer was good. I had the copper and it was well done. The food was OK. I liked their BBQ sauce but the meat had more than an acceptable amount of throwaway pieces in it. My daughter hated the Carolina sauce so it's best to try some beforehand. Chicken ceasar was acceptable as was another sandwich. No refills on water. An OK waiter. All in all an OK experience. Solid C. Nothing more. read more

For those of us who live in Door County we call Shipwrecked one and done . all of the tourists try it once and don't return and no one who is local goes there because we have tried it once. Great location is the only quality it has going for it. There are too many good places to eat in Door-Skip Shipwrecked. read more

My family and decided to try this place mainly because it's always crowded when we drive by which, in our minds, probably reflected its quality. Also, the online menu/pictures looked very good. BIG MISTAKE! (We know better than to believe any item pictured on a restaurant's menu...but we fell for it.) Our arrival time was about 7:30 p.m. on a week night so it wasn't overly crowded. We were seated right away and intended to quickly place our order, after a couple of questions, because we had pretty much decided what we wanted to eat. The waitress was pleasant but clearly didn't know a heck of a lot about the food items the restaurant offered. Among other things, she couldn't answer BASIC questions about the seafood chowder. The food arrived in a fairly timely manner and disappointment set in rather soon. My crab cake sandwich was visually unappealing, dry, and tasted simply awful. A couple of us had the seafood chowder which was like a cup of lukewarm skim milk with a mushroom or two thrown in, for no apparent reason. There wasn't a clam to be found! My husband's Texas brisket sandwich was thrown together with huge pieces of tough meat that he could hardly chew. One of our sons had a burger which he said was mediocre and the other also had the disappointing crab cake sandwich. We can't prove anything but my husband and both of our grown sons felt ill the remainder of the evening and into the morning hours.(Probably from the lukewarm chowder.) Nice location...but that's about it as far as positives are concerned. We will never go back. Shipwrecked is extremely overrated! That said, this might be a fine place to visit if you are only interested in a couple of drinks and some apps. read more

Such a great surprise! My kind of food and great micro brew. So glad my family and I picked this place. Yum!!
