One of favorite places to order from. The flavors are always consistent. Our go-to meal is the…read moregrilled pork noodle bowl. The meat itself is well-seasoned. You can taste the lemongrass but not overpowering. My favorite part of the bowl is the nuoc mam sauce that is poured over the warm noodles. Then you let it sit for a minute so the sauce is absorbed. Oh my Yum! Aside from the noodle bowl, we stop by once a week to grab my daughter's favorite mango slushy with lychee jelly. Such a delicious combination. The drink is smooth and not too sweet. We had the chance to try their mochi donuts before the machine broke. They are smaller than the mochi donuts that we usually buy from the other side of town. But their donuts are always fresh and the icing is not too sweet. It is sad that they don't make donuts anymore. I was heartbroken when the lady at the counter told me that they will stop making the donuts because they wont be replacing the donut machine. I'm so happy that this little gem opened up by my neighborhood amidst the fast food franchises. I hope for this business to thrive as we need more small businesses like Daily Banh Mi in the Potranco area that serves good food.

This review is just for the banh mi. This is my first time here and wanted to give it a whirl. I'm…read moreused to large, overstuffed banh mi so when I saw what was presented, I just prayed it had good flavor. I ordered the grilled pork, extra meat that cost roughly $3. When i opened the sandwich, it looked exactly like my sons who ordered a regular grilled pork. There was no extra meat. My son took 2 bites and decided he didn't care for it. I took his sandwich filling and stuffed it into my sandwich. There, it finally looked like what i'm used to. Took one bite, and chewed on the driest meat you can think of. Even jerky had more moisture than what I had. My husband was the only one who finished his banh mi, but he wasn't impressed either. I will continue looking for a good, filling banh mi joint. I may come back for their pho though.

Cool diamond art displayed throughout store space, a compost bin, and area of their specialized coffee for sale. I appreciated their menu of coffee varieties, breakfast/lunch menu, and home made pastries. But, especially was thankful and grateful that any of their special coffee menu items could be made decaffeinated. Thank you so much!! I can only tolerate decaf. I chose Spanish Romance decaf, sub with coconut milk. Absolutely delicious! Not too sweet and loved the chocolate, hazelnut, and coconut notes. My friend ordered a blueberry scone- all pastries made in house and was packed with blueberries. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in!

The fact that you can get the "Fall Coffee Flight collection" hot OR iced is a game-changer for unpredictable Texas weather. The coffee flight is served in cute small glasses, making it perfect to sample a bit of everything. The four flavors are, Sweater Weather, Cinderella, Pumpkin Maple, and Blueberry Coffee Cake. Incredibly balanced, smooth, and full of Autumn flavor without being overly sweet. Their cookie and cinnamon roll, was top tier. Absolutely loved that the baked goods are made fresh in-house. The owner does come up with the best drink concepts, and she can seriously bake! She was very informative about their products, and the staff was warm and friendly. Come and show them some luv and try them out!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant…read more I ordered a chicken biscuit with bacon and, after getting home, noticed the chicken appeared undercooked when I bit into it. I stopped eating it immediately, cut it open to check, and returned to the restaurant to request a refund. While I appreciate that my refund was processed, the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. The employee who assisted me was dismissive from the moment I walked in. When I tried to show my receipt, I was cut off and told it wasn't needed. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, especially considering I was returning food due to a legitimate food safety concern. What bothered me most was the complete lack of an apology or acknowledgment of the issue. A simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. Instead, as I was leaving the restaurant, I overheard the employee loudly telling the kitchen that I was "complaining" about my food being raw, despite the fact that I was still within earshot. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. Undercooked food can be an honest error. However, customer service is how a business responds when something goes wrong, and unfortunately this experience was handled very poorly. Because of both the food issue and the way I was treated, I will not be returning.
