Forget Dunkin and forget Krispy Kreme! This is the place to go for donuts and the breakfast sandwiches(kolaches)! Every time I order from here, everyone wants to know where they are located and how come they've never heard about it! I love the kolaches! I usually get the egg and cheese stuffed one and the bacon or sausage stuffed ones for my kids. You can get full off of one! The bread is literally perfect consistency. The donuts remind me of the perfect mix between shoppers and Krispy Kreme donuts. They are fluffy and perfectly coated. I prefer the glazed donuts and am not a fan of the chocolate frosted donuts. Convenience: This was a much-needed afternoon pick-me-up during a heatwave. It was way too hot for the park, but we still wanted to get out of the house, and as any mom knows, a drive-thru is EVERYTHING when you're rolling deep with two kids under 5. The drive-thru was quick, the signage was clear, and I was in and out with treats in under 10 minutes. Food: We ordered two glazed donuts and they were so good; light, airy, slightly chewy, but not too soft. Definitely better than expected for a chain spot! Drinks: I tried the vanilla cappuccino, and while it wasn't super espresso-forward (more sweet than bold), it was exactly what I needed for a mid-day sugar + caffeine boost. The consistency was rich and creamy, almost like a drinkable dessert. ‍ Service: Friendly and fast. No long wait, and I appreciated how efficient the drive-thru staff were. If I could give this business zero stars I would. I go in. They don't even say good morning. I'm ordering my food and she's rude and rolling her eyes. I'm so glad one of these locations opened nearby! Their kolaches are amazing- they're sausages wrapped in a yeast bun, think significantly upgraded, larger pigs in a blanket if you've never had one before! I had kolaches for the first time when I visited Texas several years ago & craved them for years since, these live up to my memories and more! Donuts are great, but like all donuts, definitely have any that are not glazed on the day you bought them so they're still really fresh (or just microwave them for 10 seconds to soften them again!). I really recommend the Devil's Food filled, super tasty chocolate glazed donut with chocolate inside, tastes like cake frosting or batter. I grew up on Shipley's in Texas and for the third time in a row I have driven 30 minutes to Glen Burnie only to get cold, nearly stale donuts! The kolaches were great and the staff is very nice but what the heck? The first time I came, months ago, it was late afternoon and I was told we have to come in the morning for hot fresh donuts. The second time we came this location was completely out of glaze so we left with nothing. This, the third time, my husband had us leave the house in our PJs to treat us for Valentine's Day. And once again the donuts were cold and tasted over a day old and it was only 8am! SO, SO disappointing. Next time I guess we'll go the Dunkin down the street. I'm tired of being disappointed. Got there 15 minutes before they opened so I sat in the parking lot. Went out of my way to get doughnuts for me and my coworkers. When 5am hit I rolled up to the speaker box. When they came on they told me they don't have anything ready. I asked how long before they had doughnuts and they said it wouldn't be for awhile. Finally had time to check this place out , and it did not disappoint. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They all greeted us when we walked in. The donut selection has some unique options and so far every donut has been delicious. The family is now a fan of the cold brews and the kolaches were an unexpected hit. Loved the taste of the bold kolache! Will def go again. read more
