While I had a good experience, it was very basic and missed the mark on luxury for me. I used Disney transportation to get to the spa and it took almost 2 hours to get from my resort (Pop Century) to the spa - allow plenty of time to get there! I thought the spa was hard to find. There's not a lot of signage and it is not inside the resort. You will need to walk outside to the separate spa building. The Cast Members were all wonderful. I was given an in-depth tour of the facilities and left to change into the comfiest robe ever. Unfortunately, there were no seats available in the lounge so I had to stand until post-service guests left. There were lots of people talking loudly or even taking phone calls inside the locker room which detracted from the experience. My massage was $200 plus tip for 50 minutes. I thought this was pretty expensive and I was disappointed that it was not a very luxurious experience. The lotion used was ice cold and my therapist was a little loose with the draping which sometimes made me feel very exposed. The massage itself was nice, with good pressure, but I thought it was on the same level as what I get at my local spa for $85. Overall, this was just an okay experience and not a great value. I don't think I'd come back again, but I'm glad I tried it out.

Along with the head spa service, she incorporated a relaxing neck and hand massage that tied everything together beautifully. That morning, I got a call and text message that my masseuse would be a bit late - I definitely appreciated the warning. Arriving at the lobby, which is located in the 3rd tower, there was no front desk person. It seems you sit there until they bring you back to the relaxation room. Both the relaxation room and the service room are converted hotel rooms - so they are spacious. However, the relaxation room is immediately by the hallway and you can very clearly hear loud guests walking by and housekeeping rolling carts back and forth; there was no music or sound machine to help soften the noise either. For the service room, they have light blocking shades, so it is appropriately dim - but it is also on the side where the hotel pool is, so you can hear the thumping of the music coming in a bit. I was given water and brought back by another staff member, which I appreciated. Ultimately, my masseuse was late by 13 mins and, by the time the room was set up, we started 30 minutes late. Thankfully, I had nothing going on later that day. Finally, when my service started my masseuse, Lizzie, was fantastic; she asked what she should concentrated on and actually listened to me; nor did she push enhancements on me that I didn't want. While the location of the spa is not ideal - my actual massage with Lizzie was definitely worth the wait. It was truly one of the best massages I've ever had. The table was comfortable and heated; calming music was played; she answered questions about what she was noticing in my muscles; and she used a variety of props to elevate the experience, like an eye mask, a heating pad, a neck pillow and more. He made sure I felt comfortable and communicated with me just enough to where he could do his job well and allow me to relax. I wear glasses, which I placed on a table during the treatment. When the treatment was over, Delroy was most thoughtful in placing my glasses in my hand. I loved that the linens on the massage table were super clean and that the massage table itself was heated. The staff care about your wellbeing and take the time to listen to your needs. They offer great suggestions on treatments they think are best for what you've said you need.

I did a body treatment with a scalp enhancement as recommended because of my migraines. It was amazing that I'm not sure of the right words to describe my experience. The lavender and verveen aromas were very nice; however, that face massage with the hot and cold stones was unlike anything else I've ever experienced. The scalp treatment was amazing in its own right because I had been battling migraines for the past several days and this treatment made-it go away. I haven't had this kind of relief from a migraine this quickly ever. The body treatment itself was so nice because I was wrapped up and warm and at one point I almost fell asleep. It is hard not to fall asleep with the dry body body brushing then a thick moisturizer. Then Alex did my face and scalp massage. Then she massaged my feet before I turned over again to do the requested deep tissue on my upper back and shoulders because that's where my problem area. The locker room is very nice too because I have a locker robe and sandals plus there are showers and a steam room that's accessible in the women's locker room. The showers are nice and hot and the spa uses their own brand of shampoo conditioner and body wash. It's like Lavender Fields surrounding me the entire time I was in the spa. It was very relaxing and I didn't want to leave. The relaxation Lounge has to be my favorite so far because it really allows you to disconnect from the outside and just let you relax. I really enjoyed the dried fruit and the Citrus water that is provided as part of their refreshments. I did not try the hot tea but I will next time.
