Excellent massage for sore muscles. I came here with mid-back thightness and left feeling renewed, restored, and ready to do battle with all the wild Disney moms that are trying to run me down with strollers as I race to the newest rides. I had Linda as my masseuse who spent a good deal of the massage standing on my back. I mean literally standing (supported by overhead bars) on my back. This is not for everyone and make sure to tell your masseuse if this is too much for you. Since I'm built like your average overgrown gator, I found this very therapeutic. I went in as a walk in because my upper back was very tight. I requested 90 minutes either an add on of cupping (additional $35). I was taken to the first room, which was closed off by a completely transparent curtain so anyone walking by could see inside. The person started the massage and 5 minutes in, the front door opened, masseuse left me in the room, a DIFFERENT person comes in to do the massage. Overall, the massage was good. The girl was thorough but I still felt tight by the end. When I went to pay ($165 total) it was more than I expected as I was "upsold" on hot stones. I told the girl I would pay cash but I only had $17 extra dollars in cash for a tip. I told her I would come back immediately and bring more cash for a larger tip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She proceeded to shame me on the amount I left for a tip because she did not understand when I told her I would be right back. By far the most amazing massage I have ever had!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked a 90 minute Swedish massage, Alice was my masseuse. She asked what level pressure I liked (medium) and she proceeded to find and work all the tight spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was finding tight spots that I didn't even know I had!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]She kept conversation to a comfortable minimum, checking in from time to time about pressure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Her technique definitely included some eastern techniques as well, a little shiatsu and stretching. At one point my stomach decided to grumble loudly so she added hot stones on my tummy. And the absolutely best part was when she massaged my scalp and face. She massaged, added some pressure point sinus therapy and even scratched my scalp. It was heavenly!! Alice massaged everything including my glutes. Membership places like hand and stone won't massage much past your knees, today my hamstrings got the attention that they have been needing This was by far the best therapeutic massage ever! If you're looking for a day spa; bright shiny, all white decor , with masseuses all dressed in the same basic black uniform, then this isn't the place for you. Several times I asked her to please use less pressure and each time she never let up. I have actual bruising in areas where she was way too rough. 1000 stars aren't enough. I feel like I've been completely healed and rejuvenated. No, it's not a Ritz Carlton spa, it's a small spa in Davenport. But they offer a massage better than any location I've been to in Orlando (including the Ritz). The room was clean and fresh, and the 90 minute massage left me in awe. I'm a female and I love that the masseuse was careful to protect my modesty- within reason. I really appreciate that they do massage the glutes, as I'm on my feet all day and have a ton of tension there. But If you don't want your buns touched just let them know! The masseuse checked in 3 different times to ask if the pressure was good and let me know to speak up if the stones were too hot (they were perfect). I asked for medium pressure and I'm glad I did, I can handle very firm pressure but it's been awhile since I've had a massage and the medium pressure was perfect. I'm going for hard pressure next time, and that might be next week.... Or tomorrow! The pricing was so fair and I tipped very high to counter the rude woman who gave them one star because her rude self didn't want to tip and she clearly can't read that it's mandatory to tip (the base price is extremely fair so make sure you tip!). As always Yelp sucks but people don't have to, let's offset the bad vibes and support great businesses that deserve our dollars! Yay! My review got them to 4 stars! My masseuse did a great job. The place doesn't look fancy like some other spas I've been to but the people were kind and efficient. I prefer a lighter touch and the moment I mentioned that, he changed it and the rest of my massage was just right. I've been to places that charge more and listen less! I went in for the 90 min massage for $120 the lady that did the massage was very friendly. However she left the room twice to see who was coming into the business. They have a loud door bell that goes off every time someone enters that you hear loud and clear in your room! At the end of the massage I was charged $165 and when I gave her a tip she asked me for a bigger one! That's insane to me!! I ended up spending a total of $177! Was in Florida for a golf trip. Decided to get a massage after 4 rounds and this place did not disappoint. Sunny did an amazing job.

DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. No intake form, no talking before, masseuse was in and out of the room 4 times during my massage, talking to another lady through the wall. when I went to pay she demanded a tip. I said no. she took my credit card to her "boss" who was talking to another disgruntled client. when I went to take my card back she pulled it away from me. Apparently there is a sign saying there is a mandatory 20% tipping fee which was only in view when I had to pay. I do not typically write reviews but as an RMT in Ontario Canada I am absolutely disgusted. attempting to steal my credit card because I chose not to tip is horrible. read more

We called about an hour beforehand and they were able to fit a group of three in all at the same time that night! We all loved our experience and the staff. Everyone was nice and the massage was peaceful. Beforehand, they ask about pressure and spots to avoid or focus on. They will tell you they're qualified in anything to get you in the door, then you'll leave worse off than you started. When booking, I specifically asked if they had someone certified in prenatal massage. Was told yes. Get there, and my masseuse knows nothing about this. Another woman said they do prenatal (maybe the one who made my appointment?) and set up another pillow on the bed and told me to lie on my side. Then the first woman who knew nothing to start with came in for the massage! It was awkward, she didn't know what she was doing, and my back hurts SO MUCH MORE now than it did before. I had no support on the table. I told her several times that I requested prenatal certified. I told her that what was happening was starting to hurt. I've had massages at several different places and they're all relatively run the same way. However, this place was odd, to say the least. My husband and I went for a couples massage and showed up ten minutes early, because every place I've ever been to I've had to fill out paperwork. Well the lady that greeted us was very flustered that we were early. She asked why we were early and that we'd have to wait. Which is fine. Not a big deal. They didn't have us fill out any paperwork on massage preferences or anything. They finally called us back fifteen minutes after our scheduled appointment time. The sheet on the table only covered about 2/3 of my body. It left my feet uncovered and my upper back (and I'm only average height). Additionally, there wasn't a table warmer or even another blanket. I actually got pretty cold during the massage. The masseurs did not ask as anything about preferences or if any areas needed to be avoided/focused on. They just came in and started right away. The massage lasted about 55 minutes and only 5 minutes of that was spent face up. The masseur pulled my underwear halfway down without asking me, which kind of shocked me. They also were kneeling on the table most of the massage. They actually even sat on my legs at one point. I've literally never had this happen during a massage. Another thing that was odd was they massaged my face. Not just my temples, but like my actual face. It was odd to me because I had a full face of makeup on (dinner reservations after) and she used lotion and was rubbing away. One thing that was nice, but was not expecting, were hot stones. While I did enjoy them, I had no idea they were coming and it shocked me when they were placed on my back. Again, weird to me that the masseur didn't ask (and no, it was not listed in the massage description). Lastly, the masseur was not gentle and graceful. They had very abrupt movements. They didn't gently move my arms or legs, but rather grabbed them and moved them abruptly. Their stomach was hitting my head the whole time the masseur was working in front of me. At the end, they wipe you off with a wet cloth. I felt like the masseur was scrubbing a table. Again, abrupt movements, not gentle. Overall, it wasn't the most relaxing massage. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because my husband had a pleasant experience and did not experience the same things I did. If I ever go back, I'd definitely ask for a different masseuse. read more

I had the most incredible and satisfying massage at Sky Massage Spa recently. I would rate this experience as one of the best massages I've ever had and I will definitely return when visiting Orlando again! I felt cared about and was asked where my pain was while the massage therapist worked her magic. The massage was deeply therapeutic, relaxing and you could tell she really knew what she was doing and could find and work on other areas of my body needing release. She checked in with me when I sighed a lot to make sure the pressure was okay. It wasn't just okay, her hands and techniques were amazing! I get massages fairly regularly when I travel and i would say that this one has been the best I've had in the last decade. Highly recommend it to others. The place is not as fancy as a high end spa but it's still clean, tidy, neat and sweet. Just writing this review conjures feelings of relaxation and gratitude.
