Expected better quality care and experience. My husband and I called to make appointments. He got a deep tissue massage and I wanted a hot stone pedicure. While we were waiting(which states on their website you can wait in their dry sauna, which was not offered) I was told the technician was brand new and didn't know how to do a hot stone pedicure! Why wasn't I told this on the phone when booking!? I didn't want a regular pedicure, but ended up getting it anyway bc I wasn't offered any other suggestions or apologizes or an extra treatment. The receptionist could clearly see how upset I was. Then the receptionist had what seemed to be her boyfriend come in to hang out with her. They disappeared for awhile then came back to the receptionist area to watch a tv show or movie on her computer screen. The volume was so loud I couldn't even here the music they were playing in the salon. Very unprofessional!! My pedicure was anything but relaxing especially since their tub was extremely loud as well, almost as if the there're wasn't enough water in it. When my husband went to get his massage there was a random mimosa glass. He didn't know if it was his or not nobody talked to him and there were no fresh fruit, organic tea, and bottled water as stated on the website. Total was of time and money!! After dropping the family off at the strip mall, I was in dire need of a wash and blow from all the gym and pool time. This place was right across the street and convenient. Definitely didn't come because of the ratings, cause they weren't so hot. But I'm a believer in giving someone a chance, so I gave them a shot. The spa itself is beautiful. I'm a sucker for nice smells and a relaxing atmosphere. This was definitely a place you could kick back and relax at. I was a walk in, so I had to wait about 25 minutes for the next available stylist. No biggie, I had time to blow. So I had some coffee and fiddled on my phone until they were ready. Nora was my lady, and she was extremely friendly and professional. She washed my hair very thoroughly and I have to admit she really did a great job. I did nothing fancy, just big brush blow with the flat iron on the roots to control my SoFlo Frizz Attacks. She was great. Overall very pleasant experience. They were a bit pricey, but I expected that being they were a spa inside a resort. So I went with the flow cause I was on va-k mode and needed the down time. Not too shabby of a visit. If I'm at that strip mall again I'm pretty sure I'll be looking for Nora next time ;) read more

I just had a massage with Coco and she did an excellent job I was highly impressed. She catered to my needs regarding pressure and requests and it was very relaxing and I feel much better. I also got the back scrub which felt super nice and she washed it off with a hot towel, it also smelled amazing. They have a selection of other add ons that you can get for only 10 or 15 dollars, completely worth it. You can also pick the scent of your oil, I chose the vanilla. And it's very reasonably priced at only $80 for 50 minutes which is really good for a resort spa. I come from out of town and the resorts back home charge like $120, so I was very pleased. I visited Reflections with a friend several days ago on a Groupon. The facility was nice and so was the staff, though they seemed a bit clueless at times. My service was ok. Not the best, not the worst either. But can't complain considering I got a really good deal. They added 20% gratuity upon check out based on the original price of the service which is fair and not uncommon at many spas. I did tip the therapist extra since I'm sure they hardly get anything from such a discounted service. The relaxation lounge is co-ed, which I didn't mind. They didn't have a steam room, but they did have a sauna. Towels were too small. If you are a plus sized woman such as myself, you won't be able to wrap yourself with the towel to sit in the sauna. One therapist offered my friend a beverage after the service. Mine didn't offer me any beverage. As far as customer service, I think they all need a bit more training. The facility makes it feel upscale, but the service wasn't quite up to par with the facility. Again, they were very nice, they just need to elevate their service standards, in my humble my opinion. My family and I were staying at the hotel attached to this spa and decided to get massages. It was my first experience getting a massage, and I got the 50 min. Tropical Massage. My masseuse was wonderful and she was very understanding that it was my first time! My 15-year old sister got a massage at the same time, and she felt very comfortable. They gave her a female masseuse and let her keep on her bra (she felt uncomfortable taking it off). Even though she was a minor, they gave her just as good of an experience. There were refreshments before and I thought the robes and shoes were good quality. I also noticed that they used unscented massage oil, which was great for me because I'm a little sensitive to some fragrances. Before the massage, they asked us to come early to fill out some documents including where we needed some more attention and how much pressure we wanted. At the end, I wished I had gotten the 80 minute! I would definitely recommend this place if you're staying in Orlando and especially if you're already staying in the hotel. read more

This place is magical! My best friend and I decided to have a spa session while in Orlando on vacation. We booked last minute and were taken the same day. The establishment is located inside a hotel. The spa is on the 6th floor. The young lady at the desk was friendly and informative. We signed our waivers and were directed to the ladies lounge to get into our robes. The lounge was clean and welcoming. When we were done we waited in the lobby area for our masseuses. Mine was Petrie (I believe). She was amazingggg. She hit every spot. My headache was even gone by the time we were done. My neck area has not been bothering me since! She warned me I may be sore the next day since she really went into my nuts and bolts and instructed me what to do. To my surprise, I am not sore AT ALL. No pains or aches. Literally amazing. My friend and I were in a couples room which was nice. We also did the body scrub which was totally worth it. Afterwards we had a choice of a cocktail or water and opted for champagne while we relaxed in the lobby and chatted for a bit. It really was an awesome experience and great for the price. Got a mani-pedi here and it was wonderful! Krista and Celine (sp?!) were our cosmetologists. They were efficient, friendly and patient with ticklish feet. The spa is beautiful and way higher end than I expected, but definitely not in a stuck up way. Tools were clean and the whole place was immaculate. I was there 5 days ago and my fingernails still look like they just got done! It felt like spending time with friends and leaving with awesome nails! I had a wonderful experience receiving a facial and mani/pedi from Dolly at Reflections Spa. The facial was soothing and effective. My skin really felt like it could breathe! No breakouts or blemishes the following day either. This technician really knows what she's doing. We had a lovely conversation about skincare and makeup. After my facial, I accidentally dropped a bottle of nail polish while browsing just before my manicure. It exploded everywhere and I felt awful!! Dolly just smiled and reminded me I was there to relax. She really made me feel better about the mess. It was a small thing, but it made a big difference to me. My partner and I went to this salon today for a facial for him and an Island Massage for me. We called last minute the day before and they had no problem accommodating the time and day we wanted. They got us signed in and into the men's lounge quickly. The robes and slippers were very soft and comfortable. My massage was excellent and the lotions/oils used were great. He was very pleased with his facial. He said it was very relaxing. The dry sauna was very relaxing as well and they had a complete line of hair and lotions to use once you are completed. Then to top it off the have a nice comfortable lounge to relax in after its all done complete with water, sodas and cookies. Lastly, I thought the cost was very reasonable....with tip, we paid less than $225 total for both of us! read more

I had a seahorse plunge, which is a soak followed by a massage. They didn't fill the tub up all the way, and the bubbles were very jarring. There was no headrest on the tub and the sides were very hard. We were supposed to have our choice of three different soaks but they didn't ask which one I wanted and just dumped some scentless mixture into the tub. I wasn't relaxed AT ALL by the soak. The worse part was that this service (we found out afterwards, of course) was $65 more than just the massage, so we basically paid $65 to sit in an uncomfortable and shallow jacuzzi tub for 20 minutes. The woman talked during the first 20 minutes of my massage, asking me about our trip and what we were doing, and about some of the places I've lived. I'd told her that I would like her to work the muscles a little, but not go too deep (not a fan of deep tissues massages). There was no consistency... sometimes she went really, really light, and sometimes she went so deep it hurt. She would work the same area over and over and over again, nearly rubbing my skin off. Again, not very relaxing. Their robes are HUGE... mine was practically falling off... and their "slippers" are rubber sandals. When my massage was done, even though I had another hour to wait while my husband had his massage done (apparently they could only do a couple's massage for more money, or go one-at-a-time) I changed back into my street clothes because they were more comfortable than the robe and "slippers". There are lots of toiletries, even razors and "that time of the month" products, as well as saunas in the men's and women's "lounges" (the locker rooms) which is nice. Some of the toiletries dispensers obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while and had dried lotion and soap gunked up on them. I banged my toe up really bad when I walked in the sauna. There was a slight step up onto the wood slat floor that I didn't see because the lighting was so low. The sore toe ruined any relaxation I'd gotten from the massage. Their "relaxation lounge" looks pretty... it's got several shelves surrounding what looks like an aquarium... but looks are deceiving. The "aquarium" you see in the nice photos on their website is just a bunch of fake coral... no fish. The seats are barely padded, like a booth in a cheap restaurant, and are, again, not very relaxing. Seeing a trend yet? To add insult to injury, unlike most places (where you can discreetly add a tip amount of your choice when signing the credit card slip) the woman checking us out announced that it was "customary to add a 20% tip for satisfactory services" and asked if it was okay to go ahead and add that 20% tip to your bill. So if you didn't think the service was satisfactory, or at least not worth that much money (after all, the tip came out to over $60 in addition to the $140 per person we paid) you had to declare as much in front of everyone, and go through all that rigamarole, instead of just paying for the service, giving a tip appropriate for the level of service received, and moving on with your vacation. Yet another thing that completely ruined the relaxation. All-in-all, not only would I not recommend this place, I truly regret coming here. We wasted nearly $350. read more

I had a manicure/pedicure on Sept. 15, 2009. While they both looked good initially within 2 hours all of the fingernail polish had come off in sheets. I first noticed the polish was coming off while changing my shirt. I saw something on the floor that looked odd so I picked it up and realized it was the polish off of one of my fingernails that had come off in one sheet. I looked at my finger nails and the polish was off several nails and was pulled up at the edges of the ones that were still painted. I called the spa and spoke with Marissa. I was told I could have my nails redone. I said that was fine but that we wee on vacation and had plans for the remaining day. I gave her some times that I could come in the next day. She said she would call. Late the next day I had to call the spa as they never called me. Marissa was gone and the girl I talked to could not help me. The next morning, the day I was leaving to come home, I finally spoke with Marissa and was told that she had left a message at our hotel room and on my cell phone. I never received any message and believe this was a blatant lie. She did say they would refund the $75 charge. Several weeks I contacted the spa again, and again I spoke to Marissa and was again told she would credit me back the $75. It's a week later and my phone calls are not being returned and the credit still has not been given. I have asked numerous times to speak to the manager and never have I been allowed to speak with him. There is always some excuse why he isn't available. This spa is awful and I strongly recommend that anyone looking for even basic spa services go elsewhere. They are a scam and they will steal your money. read more

I have to disagree with the last review our experience was WONDERFUL!!! My husband and I got the Couples Sail Away treatment, which started of with a 50 minute massage. I had colleen and he had Cathy they were amazing ( make sure you ask for them you won't be disappointed). Then we had a body scrub and finished wtih the hydrotherapy bath. Our bath was perfect. I have been to spas all over the world and this is the BEST spa I have been to in Orlando. Reflections Spa is a wonderful place everytime we have been back to orlando we go here!! The service/staff was top notch it was comparable to the Ritz Carlton, come to find out most of the staff had worked at the Ritz. The spa was very clean. The ladies locker area was nice because it had all of the amenities so you didn't have to bring anything with you. The staff was just AMAZING. They were all very polite and very attentive if we needed anything they were right there to get it for us. I again have to disagree with the last review this lady must just be a negative person becuase everything she wrote in my experice I have found to be untrue. And they didn't just add gratuity they said we "Customarily add a 20% gratuity, if the service was satisfactoy, but it is up to your discretion" Which I like very much they made it easy for us not to think about added up tips but if you aren't happy you don't have to add anything if you don't like. I give this spa 3 stars for its cleanliness and for the mere effort made. On that note I can't say I would go back because I hardly was able to enjoy it. For starters being I was preggo at the time and not even provided one pillow for comfort. I was on my back the whole way through and it hurt so bad that mid way I finally had to given in and ask for one. Also, I specified my problem area was my lower back and it got about 5 mins of attention. The lady said what I bought over the phone was a body massage so since it was my first massage I chalked it up as my fault and lesson learned next time. Ok so final and most of all reason for my unhappiness was the tip issue having to be 20% unless you provide her reasons for your not tipping 20%. Really? Announce out loud my critics and thoughts in front of everyone? Haha I kindly declined the tip amount and let her know I've never heard of having to do such thing. She then made me announce how much I would be tipping. It was only because I was treating my little sister to a message as well that that I tipped $10 bucks and for it not being the masseuses fault. Place is tucked away behind the Buena Vista Outlets but it is so cute and worth the find! Quaint but what you need in a spa, showers, sauna and a relaxing and peaceful environment. I would definitely recommend the massages, especially with Erin. Staff is very friendly with setting up appointments and sales. They have some products (lotions and bath stuff) for sale in the front with a variation of different prices depending on what you are looking for relaxation. read more

If it's possible, pick Zujeilly for your treatment at Reflections Spa. Zujeilly is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) which explains why she was so professional throughout the entire treatment. Her strokes were firm and addresses all the problematic areas flawlessly. Each movement of her hand was deliberate, as if it was part of a symphony. Prior to the treatment, all clients had to fill out a form to indicate problematic areas as well as the preferred treatment options. Zujeilly had carefully read all our inputs and devised a treatment specifically to address those naggy pains. In addition, she was careful in moving the towels when we switched positions, so as to maintain the client's privacy, doing so in such a swift and professional manner. This is unlike some masseuse who may be careless in this aspect. Having done so many treatments around the world, the treatment by Zujeilly has got to be the best we've had. Definitely a 3 star joint. Although a I didn't mind the decor and ambiance, that's about as far is it got. For starters, I walk in and two of the workers were laughing and joking very loudly. Isn't is supposed to be a calm and relaxing environment? The robes were a little dingy. Second, nobody asked me my preference for my massage (male or female.) My facial was a bit rough and seemed a bit rushed - not relaxing. Patti did my facial and she was overall kind. Not being asked my preference for a massage in the first place, I had a man- and I'm just not the type of woman who feels comfortable having a strange man rub me all over my body. Not saying there is anything wrong with it, and he was very respectful and polite and the massage was ok, but I couldn't relax at all. I purchased this facial and massage through travel zoo which I have never had trouble with using in the past, but the advertisement said the duo came with a glass of wine- when I asked they gave it to me but the glass was such a small pour, although for the better because the wine was disgusting. When I went to change I though about using the sauna but it wasn't even warm. Lastly, when I go to check out, I was prepared to still tip them 20% gratuity on the full cost of service because I also work in the service industry, however my card was declined because I was charged twice! First from travel zoo the day I purchased the voucher, and the second time literally within the 2 hours I was there. It has now been over 24 hours since I have been there, and the money has still not been deposited back into my account! The concierge at the front desk basically said there was nothing she could do, didn't try to make any phone calls, just printed out a paper. I called my bank, I called travel zoo, however it specifically says that I was charged from this spa and still am short $200 which I am still waiting for to be returned and if not done by tomorrow they will definitely be hearing from me as long as it takes to get a refund for the mistaken money that "nobody charged me for."
