So decided to stop here for lunch yesterday and we went in the parking lot and there were no parking spaces. So we decided to go do something else and come back. So we came back about 12:30 and the parking lot was still full and it looks like that was all people at the golf course because when we went in there were only three tables seated and probably 6 dirty tables with dishes stacked on them. We were behind a couple of people at the host stand and she went to seat them and said she would be back and then when she came back she said hang on I've got to go do something else so we finally did get seated after a good wait at the host stand. She was going to seat us at a high top and my friend just had hip surgery and couldn't sit at a high top so that was my fault for not saying something up front because then she had to clean off one of those dirty tables to get us a seat. I ordered a smoked Cherry old fashioned and my friend had not decided what she wanted yet so I got mine first while she was thinking about getting one. So I took a drink of it and she took a drink of mine and went ahead and ordered one. I was not too impressed with it it was very Cherry forward and not really boozy but when she got hers it was a different animal hers was boozy like it should be so there was some inconsistency there. Our waitress was nice enough but it appeared that there was not enough help in the restaurant and that may have been what led to all the dirty tables she seemed to be doing a little bit of everything so she wasn't overly attentive to our table. I ordered the carne asada fries and my friend ordered the southwest salad. My friend loved her salad and my fries were fine but we're not real hot and by the time you got to the bottom they were all soggy. This is a newly opened place so maybe they will get better with time and then we will try them again. We will follow the reviews and see what happens. read more

First of all, we had absolutely no idea that the family style menu was the only option. This should have been made very clear to us when the reservations were made. Secondly, a portion of our family was not going to be able to make it originally due to a sporting event. However, plans were canceled and they were now available. I called to see if we could add them to our reservation, but they said there wasn't any room. I totally understood since it was the day of and Mother's Day. However, there was only one other group of people in the entire room besides us. A giant table was empty next to us for the entire duration of our meal that could've been used for our family. Instead, they had to stay at home. Lastly, the food was terrible. It was luke warm, ham looked old, the turkey looked like it was deli meat thrown on a plate with gravy, we never got a refill of our drinks, nothing was not seasoned and there was no salt/pepper in sight, two of us were missing silverware and we were told multiple times they'd bring some out (never did, had to take from a different table), and the worst part.... it ended up being $39 PER PERSON after gratuity and tax. we arrived at your restaurant on Saturday morning at approximately 11:20 at 12 o'clock. They came out to ask me how I would like a portion of my food preparand I asked them you're just now getting that to me and her reply was just a head nod and a look at that point I got irritated and I canceled the order sat there nearly 45 minutes waiting on food that evidently they haven't even started preparing yet and they were not very busy. To begin, the atmosphere in this place is weird. Nearly silent, empty, feels like you aren't allowed to speak for fear of disturbing the silence. Came for lunch on Easter. Menu was limited to an "easter family style dinner". Most of our food was cold and unseasoned. The glazed carrots were clearly frozen crinkle cut carrots, they were undercooked and tasted like furniture polish. The meat was cold; the ham was less flavorful than lunch meat you could get at Kroger. The green beans with ham were cold and very bland. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were actually phenomenal. Concerning the service, our waitress was unfriendly and inattentive. We asked for salt and pepper, never received it. We were consistently waiting on refills. We were mostly unbothered until we got the bill. $300 for 8 people to eat cold, frozen, unseasoned food. I have been here on 5 different occasions and it's mediocre at best. 1 time the food was really good but the other 4 times the food was either okay or less than stellar. The price is far too high for the product. I see zero reason to go here over Randy's or lil Charlie's. Everything at Randy's is superior and lil Charlie's burgers and steaks are better. The food reminds me of like an Applebees, which is not a compliment. Cannolis were okay but nothing special. read more

"Amazing!" really sums up this chef-staffed ‍ and friendly restaurant. If a "10 stars rating" was an option, I'd easily click it No short-order cook or bad commercial-tasting food here. Menu offers good variety. Servers are great too; friendly, quick to top off your drinks while dining! The bar area offers a nice ambiance. Got the BLT and ordered extra bacon. The bread was soft but the bacon was limp and I never got my extra bacon that I paid for. They put garlic aioli on it. I asked if they could put Mayo on it and I was told no substitutions. I could understand no substitutions for like fries, but how hard is it to sub out garlic aioli for mayo? My tomatos were mangled like they didn't know how to cut a tomato properly and my lettuce was wilted. Server was friendly but I didn't ask for another drink and was given another anyways that I was charged for. Experience with the owner during dinner was awful. Food wasn't great and he was a jerk. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant.

This 2nd location struggled a bit when they first opened. Staff shortage was biggest issue. Have stayed with them and last night was the best night for us. More wait staff & kitchen was staffed. Food is always great. Last night was Shift burger and fish sandwich. Both were great. Love sitting on the deck overlooking the golf course. Great job Shift!! read more

Three couples had supper at Batesville location. Everyone thought the food was fantastic. Service was outstanding. Chicken and Waffles, Pork Chops, Diablo Burger, Shift Burger, and mini tacos. All were super good. read more
