WOW, this lil hole in the wall, tiny town restaurant is awesome! See my photo of the 32 ounce, 4 patty bbq bacon cheeseburger, $12.95. Add fries or other sides for only $1.50, and slices of homemade blueberry pie ala mode and coconut cream pie. YUM! The single 8 oz burger was only $4.50. Prices are all low to average as expected for this type diner. They also have Sunday buffet, and fried chicken, steaks, ribs, and daily specials. How did Waldron get so lucky to have a hometown eatery like this? The mom-n-pop place was clean, well kept, provided good service, and great tasting home made food, and the owner /operators were enjoyable to talk too. It was as expected for decor for a place like this. I will have to go back very soon and try many more of their menu items. Great place for a very nice meal at a great price.

A little sample of the Waldron Restaurant's delicious cupcakes at my wedding.

Good small town country diner! Food is always cooked to order and hot as you get it. There is a credit/debit card fee but hey, cash is king.

It was delicious, and we've eaten there a few times since and always have a great experience. We both have been wanting to try some of their lunch specials, but we work and can't get there to check it out. We were off today and decided to go there for lunch because they were having chicken and noodles, and that's one of my favorite meals. It did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and even ordered seconds to go, so we could have it for dinner. The chicken and noodles came with mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, and a roll. You could definitely tell the food was homemade too. Delicious! The Farmhouse Diner isn't a very big restaurant and can get pretty busy. It reminds me of a little country diner where all the local farmers and their wives go to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. We will definitely be going back.

As we were ordering we we asked if we had any questions or if we wanted to try any sauce. We made our order to go, smokehouse club pulled pork, and the brisket Mac-n-cheese. After we ordered we were asked if we needed anything, we were told we were fourth on the order board and it was ok to sit somewhere while we waited. The food is yummy, yummy. I love the club it's a salad with pulled pork, something love. Richelle said she yummy loved the brisket Mac-n-cheese. If you get it to go it will not look pretty when you get it home, see my picture, it was all mixed up but that is how Richelle would have eaten it any way. What was previously a surprisingly elegant dining space with exquisite steaks and specialty items in an Indiana casino, is temporarily their main restaurant. Service still excels and the food is tasty. I ate the crab cakes (appetizer) as an entrée and couldn't finish. The texture was perfect and the taste was very good. My dining companion had the filet accompanied by the asparagus and said it was fantastic! In addition to a few steaks--there is a chicken entree, sandwiches and other lighter meals on the menu. The bar is full service although they were out of the Tom Gore Chardonnay tonight.

It was a Friday night and we were about 15 minutes early for our reservation. We were greeted at the door of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. We were immediately ushered to our table. Our waiter was at the table a few minutes later to introduce himself and see if we wanted anything to drink. I ordered the Second Circle martini and the hubby got an iced tea. Our excellent waiter was Patrick. The Second Circle martini is Woodford Reserve bourbon, Ruby port, maple syrup, and Bitters. The martini was good with the overriding flavors being the port and maple syrup. Really did not taste the Woodford but I liked it. Someone brought a bread service to the table and poured water. Patrick took our order for starters when he brought the drinks back. We ordered the steak tartare and the chicken livers. I have had the chicken livers here before and already knew that I liked them. The chicken livers are served on a bed of frisee lettuce, sweet red onions, and aged balsamic vinegar. This perfectly complements the crispy on the outside and tender on the inside chicken livers. The hubby liked the steak tartare better. The steak tartare was made with black garlic, egg yolk jam, shiso, a bone marrow cracker, and togarashi. Both were tasty ways to start our meal. Patrick took our order for dinner when he brought out our starters. The hubby ordered the 14 oz New York strip and a loaded baked potato. I ordered the lobster bisque and coho salmon. In addition I ordered another martini, the vanilla espresso martini. Patrick brought my lobster bisque out shortly after that. This was very tasty and reminiscent my favorite lobster bisque. The only thing I would change would be to make it a little bit thicker but it had excellent flavor it had a little bit of pernod cream and a few bites of lobster. Our dinner was brought to the table and he set the baked potato in between us because it was huge any thought we might want to share it! The hubby ordered his steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly and he said it had great flavor. My coho salmon was cooked perfectly as well and I had never eaten wheat berries and they were slightly crunchy giving the dish some texture. We both really enjoyed our main dishes with no complaints. To top off the night I ordered coffee with cream and creme brulee. He brought my coffee to the table in a stainless steel pitcher and he brought a pitcher of cream and he had also taken the extra step to warm up my coffee cup. This was awesome! I love my coffee to be very hot and this was perfect. A little bit later he brought the creme brulee in the hubby and I shared it the burnt sugar on top was nice and crusty and we had to crack through it just like you should. We had a very enjoyable meal and will definitely be going back. I would suggest asking for Patrick on your trip in as he did an excellent job.

She checked on us multiple times and kept us after glasses filled. Food came to the table quickly. We received 5-star service! I ordered the Country Ham Steak & Eggs. The eggs were light and tender. The ham was tasty. My only complaint was that the generous serving potatoes were overly salty for me. My husband had the popular Brown County Breakfast. He loved the generous portion of smokey bacon and the freshly made biscuit. (Order the biscuit!) The local eggs were cooked to perfection. I did see they allow you to make reservations on Open Table, so I booked it for a weekday to try it out. It wasn't nearly as busy as the parking lot looked, there was plenty of seating. I liked the added touch of the date night plaque at our table when we arrived. We started with the Evil Jungle Princess (10/10 tiki drink) and the paper bag beer + blind shot pick (gross but kind of fun if you like beer, I think we got a PBR lol). For apps we got the Wagyu pigs in a blanket and the broccoli cheddar soup to share. The piggies were so savory and delicious. For entrees we got the fish and chips and rainbow roll. The fish was perfectly battered and tasted great. The rainbow roll had good flavor but really fell apart immediately. I felt like the presentation could have been improved. They also did not bring out soy sauce with the roll and didn't come even after asking our server for it. Still good flavor to the fish. We finished off the night with the monkey bread (100/10). So sweet and delicious! It came out hot and fresh with a side of ice cream. Definitely sugar overload but totally worth it. And our nightcaps were the Espresso Martini (HAVE to get) and the Campfire Vibes. Both great drinks. Highly recommend this spot for any special night out.
