Interior is small, but the food is amazing! Stop by if you want Mexican food without a super steep price tag.

We returned to Little India to celebrate our youngest son Taz turning 16…read more This was not our first visit. We keep coming back because the food is consistently good. My son ordered the chicken tikka masala with a spice rating of 3. It had great flavor and just the right amount of heat. Rich sauce and generous portions. He paired it with regular naan and a mango lassi. The naan came out warm and soft. The mango lassi was cold, smooth, and refreshing. I ordered the chicken tandoori with cheese naan and a Coke. I went with spice level 1, which was mild and still full of flavor. The chicken had a nice grilled taste and stayed juicy. The cheese naan was excellent. We also grabbed two bottles of water. The total bill came to about $60. For a family dinner with good portions, that felt very reasonable. Service was friendly and the food came out hot. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the evening and celebrate a milestone birthday. A solid spot in Oxford when you want good Indian food and a welcoming place to celebrate.

This place is legitimately great Indian food. Now, I've never been to India, but I've eaten a lot…read moreof Indian food, so I'm at least half-eligible to comment. I'm just saying: The flavor is real. The portions are a good size, they'll spice it up for you or keep it chill, and they've got a lot of options on the menu. I do wish they had more bread choices other than just naan, but whatever - it's not like I've got an Indian restaurant, so I've gotta take what I can get. The inside seems decent, and they had cricket on the TV last time I was in there which is a way better sport than baseball, so yeah. And if you just stop in and order and then carry it out, they're really quick, so you don't even have to wait that long. Just go next door to the smoke shop and look at all the weird stuff then come back over 10 minutes later and you've got your food.

Better than expected! I had my doubts, as so many Indian restaurants fall short of anything…read moreremotely traditional. But this place surprised me a bit. My daughter and I went during the week at lunchtime. It only had a few other patrons seated. The interior felt a bit "bare", almost cafeteria feeling, but clean with ample room between tables. I ordered from their menu and my daughter couldn't decide (there are a ton of made to order menu items) so she selected the buffet. They also had a good selection of different flavored Naan Flatbreads, I wanted to try a few and ended up ordering 3; plain garlic and a peppered something. I love a good Naan but I always get it with Raita. I go pretty spicy and the Raita is a fantastic palet cooler. The server did not know what I was asking for. I think he went back and asked someone. ‍ The Naan was fire! And the Raita (while a bit runny) was very good as well. My daughter was very happy with her several small choices from the buffet. (She eats like a bird) She was also surprised by the quality of the food as Indian is her favorite. I had the Lamb Tikka Masala. It was a very large portion of both rice, lamb and masala sauce. Would have easily fed 2 people! I ate what I could.....about half. (Daughter got to take a pretty nice doggie bag back to Bloomington!) Spice, heat flavors and textures were very good! I will be back for sure! Lots of offerings and my next trip will include a Vindaloo option. (Or maybe Tandoori?) Much better than expected but not the greatest I've ever had. I still might have given 5 stars if the atmosphere was a bit less barren and the service was a bit slow considering there were only a few other customers in while dined. Worth the trip if you are in the area. Thanks for reading!

We also had perfectly cooked Somosas that were much better than any other around. Add in the helpful and informative staff, this place is go-to from now on.
