Both were delicious and the server said all were made in house. What I loved about the onion rings was the super thick and crunchy beer batter. We also got some sort or chicken bowl that was a lot of food. Came with chips. That's not my particular thing but the person who ordered it loved it. They make all their own dressings and believe me when I tell you the spicy ranch is spicy. I loaded my onion ring up with that ranch and I thought I was going to pass out it was so hot. I still ate it just not as much at one of time. They have plenty of seating at the bar or tables inside and a few outside tables by the street where we saw people take advantage of the nice weather and brought their dogs. They have a small stage where they have live performances, I think someone was coming last night we were just there too early. They have pull tabs for those who are gamblers. The place was really clean and staff were friendly yet busy. Parking can be tricky so be prepared to walk some during peak times.

The milk shake was a good, very basic milk shake. It is not very thick so I ended up using the straw for my water for this. I ended up getting a hot ham and cheese on toast as well, and it tastes as it should. Service is prompt. All in for my burger, onion rings, shake, coffee, and ham/cheese it came about $25. There is no credit card fee for this restaurant, and the prices on the menu were accurate to what I was charged. This is an Anderson institution and I'm glad I was finally able to dine in. Our server was very nice and attentive and kept our drinks full. He took our order and brought everything rapidly. I had the boom boom shrimp, which is really good.
