Fabulous food, fabulous service, big portions worth every penny! Please serve breakfast.

I decided to take mom here for lunch yesterday and it's located on a beautiful golf course. They weren't too busy, aside from us they had a party of about 25 people. I got iced tea and it wasn't the best or the worst, I'd probably get a Coke next time. I saw them bringing out a lot of wraps to the party they were serving and since it was like 107 degrees with the heat index Mom and I decided to get the fried chicken bacon ranch wrap with onion rings. They claimed on the menu the chicken was hand breaded but I'm not sure about that. The wrap was huge and also 95% lettuce which was obviously from a bag and had a funny bagged lettuce taste. There was the smallest sprinkling of cheese, bacon and tiny chicken tender pieces. They didn't put much ranch on the wrap so that made it dryer. Luckily we asked for extra when we ordered because we like to dip our onion rings in ranch too. We really liked the onion rings. I would have said something about the wraps but our server had that large party so we didn't see her again until the end of our meal. The view was beautiful and they do offer cocktails. They have a nice outdoor covered patio with ceiling fans but Mom said it was too hot even with the fans and since she's nearly 84 I wanted her to be comfortable. We will definitely go back again but I will try something different or leave off the lettuce if I do get a wrap. read more

Prime Rib was tough and hard to chew! Loaded Baked Potato was so cold the cheese would not melt and it was hard. Server did not bring steak knives with our three orders of Prime Rib and returned with knives and threw them in the center of the table like she was pissed off we asked for them. Frankly the Prime Rib was so tough it was not eatable. Gave us a complementary dessert that was obviously not made in house because it was excellent. They discounted our meal 50% for the tough as shoe leather prime rib. Salmon was good. I am not sure we will be back unless it's for a sandwich and a round of golf next season. This is our third visit and just not happy how ours meals turned out. 1925 for a burger or tenderloin. Lahody's for the Steaks ! read more

Inside is dated and is in need of a DEEP cleaning, but food was delicious and the waitstaff was incredibly attentive and kind!

The food never disappoints! The servers are very well-versed in each dish on the menu and during the summer eating out on the veranda is great! For a quieter and more sophisticated feel I would suggest eating inside. Either way, the ambience is very good. read more

Went to 1925 PubHouse in Anderson and Grandview Golf Course for lunch after a round of golf with Husband and gal pal yesterday, Tuesday June 20th. Was 1:00pm. We sat on Patio. Was not busy. We ordered the chicken wraps and beer. We needed an additional setup and told the waitress upfront it was needed. The meal came with chips but husband wanted slaw. We got the meal fairly quickly but we didn't get the slaw. Told her, the waitress as soon as plate was served. Also reminded her of needing silverware setup. We started eating and the waitress NEVER came back. We ended up getting a second beer from another waitress, well actually friend got up and went and fetched another waitress from inside (which also was not real busy inside). We really enjoyed the wrap. It was tasty. Ralph my husband finally got up to complain about not getting his slaw and the silverware. It was brought after the meal from the original waitress who was sullen and nasty. I left that girl $13 on a $61 dollar meal. She totally did not deserve a tip and all. I'd say, stay away from 1925 PubHouse for lunches. Either establishment doesn't cover for a busy lunch crowd or waitresses just don't care. Either way, we'll go elsewhere to enjoy lunch read more

The food is always amazing here and that wasn't the problem with today's experience Its supposed to be a nice place to eat at but today it felt like I was at a hooters both the server and bartender were wearing very inappropriate shorts the servers cheeks were out you could see them visibly and I saw the bartender multiple times digging in her you know area because her shorts were so short she kept pulling them out very disappointed In the way our meal went today other than that the food was great read more

They have a variety of options We had fish sandwiches and grilled tenderloins Great service and beautiful outdoor dining read more

Tenderloin did not disappoint and Brussels sprouts were good. A tad sweet but good nonetheless. Service was excellent and friendly A little cool temperature in dining area. Let's blame that on fickle Midwest weather. read more

We have been here twice now. Both time the pretzels were out of this world. Perfectly crispy outside, soft and warm inside, they pull apart perfectly and have plenty of salt. The beer cheese is perfect for dunking and thick enough to stay on the pretzel. The breaded tenderloin is also great. The burgers were fine, but definitely not the star of the meal. Sitting on the patio gives a fun view of the golf course. Indoor seating is very plain. The service has been great both times we have been. read more

Service from Tori was excellent. Food was good. My burger on Texas toast was tasty, but a bit sloppy to eat. Ambiance was very nice. read more

While in Anderson for a concert, we discovered 1925 PubHouse on Yelp! After reading several positive reviews and browsing the photos, my wife and I decided to check it out. We were greeted upon arriving and seated without a wait. Our server was friendly and pleasant and did an excellent job. We enjoyed the comfortable environment, and the views of the golf course were beautiful. Our food came out fast, and everything was cooked perfectly. For an appetizer we ordered the Fire Cracker Shrimp (Hand Breaded White Shrimp Tossed in Creamy Thai Chili Sauce, and Scallions) - The sauce was delicious and added a nice kick to the shrimp! For our entrees, my wife ordered the Fried Tenderloin; and I went with the Smash Burger - both were delicious and full of flavor! All-in-all, we had a great experience at 1925 PubHouse and would return if ever in the area again! read more

Went last night for dinner. Wanted to start with firecracker shrimp on the menu. They didn't have them. Then we wanted a wedge salad. They didn't have that either. Ordered a burger and my husband ordered a burrito. Took 50 minutes get the food and the fries were cold. We had to wolf down the burger and burrito to make an appointment. Won't be going back there. read more

1925 Resturant at Grand View Golf Course in Anderson, IN - it was a perfect meal sitting on the outdoor patio watching golfers tea off. This Tendy had really good breading and thickness. While in the Community Hospital ER with my 10yr old, I looked up a local place to go eat. His Dad & I were allowed to swap out, but we weren't allowed to be in the room at the same time with him. So for my 90 minutes "off" I headed to this 1925 PubHouse. The bartender was fantastic. He recommended this ribeye pictured and it absolutely did not disappoint! I had the loaded backed potato and Caesar salad as well. I was such a great ex, I cut up the rest of the steak I couldn't eat and took it back to his Dad in the ER. He enjoyed it too and it wasn't even hot anymore! :) I got the carrot cake to go as well. It was equally delicious at 1:45am when we finally got home! read more

Just as an addition, it smells so good on the patio, during the summer days when they're mowing! I tried the small Cobb salad today. It's okay but could be served on a large plate. I would prefer they didn't top it with their shredded cheese blend. The blue cheese dressing was very good. Just an FYI, if there is any breeze you will feel it on the patio. read more

The burger was very good asked for it medium came out closer the medium rare.. I would have rated higher had the fries been fresh ... they tasted like they had been under a heat lamp for hours .. they were warm and soggy ... service was mediocre as I asked our server for refill on my water a couple times and never got it ... it was slow in the dining area only four tables including ours .. Sunday at noon must be a slower time. read more

Everyone else's food looked great! Mine was a disappointment. Lobster roll was ordered, I got like a weird grilled lobster sandwich instead. Regretted my decision. Service was wonderful though. If I ever come back, I'll definitely try the shrimp tacos instead. Updated 5 stars as I completely understand the supply chain issues currently going on. Hope you get the rolls back soon!! read more

They seem to run out of items on the menu and not relay the information to the servers. The last 3 times I have been to the pub house, they have not had something I ordered. This will be the last time I will be patronizing the pub house. Three strikes your out! read more

I must say the restaurant was quaint with fireplace. We had the pork tenderloin sandwich split it was big enough for 2. The chose the honey bacon Brussel sprouts which had wonderful flavor and the red beans and rice. I must say it was my favorite. If I visit again I will just have that as my dinner. The gentlemen server was very thought and helped us in many ways. I will be back. read more

We had dinner at the pub House after spending the day at the state parks. We were so ready for dinner at this point. I'm so glad we chose this from the Indiana Culinary Trail. The staff we awesome, the environment was welcoming and the food was delicious. We shared pretzels and cheese beer to start. It was popping out and yummy. I had the Pub House Melt with onion rings. The onion rings were perfect. The patty melt was very good. The hamburger was perfect, the toasted buttery bread was great. I wasn't too sure about the sauce but it was good. My cousin had the Tenderloin sandwich which she said was really good. Nothing could have been better so definitely worth the 5 stars. read more

We came here for the pork tenderloin and were not disappointed. The onion rings were great as well. The only reason I have it four stars instead of five is that it has an off putting musty smell. Not very appetizing. read more

Very good! Definitely the best option to eat at in Anderson. I got the mahi mahi tacos and Brussels sprouts.

We ordered online and they claimed they never received the order. Couldn't get a straight answer from them as to why because they were all busy huddled up talking to each other. Took 10 minutes to finally get an answer from them. Had to sit and wait while they prepared the entire meal. We've eaten here quite a bit but it seems like every time we do it gets a little worse. Can't keep items on their menu in stock, someone needs to get a handle on how to order for a restaurant. read more

The food and service were great. Super fresh tasting but the food did take a very long time to come out. It's the only reason I removed 1 star. Make sure not to go here if you're in any kind of rush. I would definitely go back. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood near a golf course. I ordered a burger and it was excellent. I usually don't finish my meals and I ate the whole thing. The onion rings are some of the best I've had. The tenders really are jumbo. Everyone in our party of 5 was happy with their meal. read more

A friend and I went here for lunch yesterday, and to watch the Ohio State game. They accommodated us by sitting us directly by the TV in the bar, and turning on the game. Between us we ordered two appetizers (mozzarella sticks and loaded potato skins), a tenderloin and fries, and a 12 inch pizza. The appetizers were standard fare. The tenderloin is probably one of the best I've ever eaten, and the fries accompanying it were excellent, as well. The thin crust pizza is top notch! I can't say enough about the crust, absolutely perfect! There is also an excellent bar selection, and the location is lovely. I can't wait to go back during warmer weather to dine on the patio. The staff was WONDERFUL, very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. read more

The food was good. I really enjoyed my shrimp tacos (they were stuffed full of shrimp and spicy slaw). My BF said is salmon was good but standard fare however his green beans were yummy, smoky goodness. Our server kind of forgot about us and we got our appetizer with our meal and it was cold. They did remove it from our check whem we pointed it out. I would like to try their bacon jam and blue cheese burger, that sounds amazing. read more
