After a recommendation from a friend, we stopped by Wings Etc for their pretzel bites with beer cheese. This place used to be a Bob Evans, but you'd never be able to tell with the way it's set up now. I'm glad we came in! Our server was cheerful and quickly brought our waters and appetizer. Feeling sorry for the poor gal waiting on us....but...wow was this the worst "dining" experience ever! Large group - in fairness and separate checks - two people didn't get their food by the time the rest of the group was done eating; we had to go get our own silverware (asking twice!), wrong drinks brought; boneless wings brought when traditional ordered; and overall food cold and not good (tots great!). Food looked and tasted like it was yesterday food. Chicken wings were cold and taste like they were made the day before. Fries were cold. The server was great. We were in Shelbyville, In shopping and decided to eat lunch. Everywhere was busy so we decided to stop and try Wings Etc. Since the parking lot was pretty empty, this should have been the sign not to eat there. we ordered wings with different sauces to try, whole order of fries and side salad. first off took forever (30 min) for food, salads came out with meal (should have been before) and salads were like a child portion. The boneless wings were more like chicken nuggets and they were hard and not much chicken. French fries were cold and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. our waiter spent most of the time on his cell phone outside, could see him through the window, so service was horrible. Then the bill comes and it's $52.50 for 2 people and no alcoholic drinks, 1 dr pepper and a sweet tea!!! OUTRAGEOU!!! Never again, do not recommend read more

To be honest when we got there today I thought they were closed, my husband and I got in and we seated quickly, and were greeted by our waitress shortly after. I was excited to try a new wing place, that was short lived! We tried 4 sauces med buffalo, it's your typical sauce. Gar-licky-parm, did not have any garlic flavor at all. Say-it-tso was pretty good! Hot bbq was very vinegary yuck! Tots and fries were typical but good! Now for the prices, the food was a bit on the high side but the beer pushed it over the top a 16oz michelob was $3.50 not bad but a 32 oz. was $9.50.... seriously??? I went to Wings etc on 3/1/20 and I have to say the other reviews do not do it justice. Our service was prompt and polite, our food was delicious and was not skimped in the portions. The environment inside the restaurant was fun and definitely gave the whole place a good feel. Overall don't read into the other reviews, if there's any truth to them it's that it was close to them opening and they were working out the kinks. I will definitely be returning. read more

We have had carry out a few times here now. Orders have been prepared promptly and correct every time. Hot, fresh, and tasty. We've tried both the traditional and boneless wings and all agree the traditional are the best. All of the sauces we've tried were great with the exception of the garlic/parm. Not quite garlicky enough for our liking. The fries are great and I love the fry seasoning- get extra! The beer cheese dip was also tasty. I can't speak for the sit down or bar service, but carry out has not disappointed! Will definitely continue to order from here. read more

Alright listen people!!! I went here with my family for a nice simple dinner. And we went in to the smell of really nice food! When we sat down we were immediately asked for drinks, and I got a sweat tea which was amazing. When we got our food it was super hot and very fresh. Do not waste your time. Service was even worse than BWW here in town and that says a lot. Sweet tea was not sweet, not really sure it was even tea. 1/2 order "loaded" tots and ten boneless wings with tea for $22. By loaded tots, let me clarify-they had a teaspoon of sour cream and canned cheese poured all over them with bacon sprinkled on top and what transformed into a Mushy mess. The chicken was ok, not good nor bad really. Just so so but I'm a tiny basket that flips each time you attempt to cut chicken into pieces. Which in turn then flips over your ranch that no one offers to bring replacement of after they come take away the mess of paper towels. Just an overall poor experience and poor service. Next time you'd be better off going to Walmart deli for your buffalo chicken, it taste FAR better and a whole lot cheaper, but then you miss the ambience of all the money the new ownpiled into the old bob evens to make it somehow now claustrophobic. Sorry shelbyville, yet another restaurant doomed to fail due to lackadaisical effort from seemingly untrained or just uncaring staff. UPDATE: dear manager , thank you for reaching out with an offer to make things right. That wasn't the point of the review. My review was to inform potential customers of what to expect in an open and honest forum. Had I thought anything would make the experience "better", I'd have just contacted the restaurant directly to have my meal replaced. The hostesses were awful. When I walked in the door there was 4 or 5 of them standing there. They did not greet my girlfriend and I at all. We stood there for a good 2-3 minutes as they all stood behind the counter and laughed. One of them finally said "2?" and handed me a buzzer without explaining what it was. They said it would be a 15 minute wait but 45 seconds after sitting down the little device they handed me began buzzing. I looked at them expecting them to say "Your table is ready" or something along those lines. They did not say anything for a few minutes and when I looked back at them they were all bent over behind the counter laughing. After I had stood up and said that this device kept buzzing they stopped laughing and said that my table was ready. Very unprofessional. Hated my time there. Mac and cheese sub-par and the chicken sandwich was dry. Overall.... Meh. Food was okay the hostesses were awful. read more
