Our first visit to Carnegie's in Greenfield to celebrate a wedding anniversary. I was disappointed…read morethat the online booking tool did not allow me to enter a special occasion so the restaurant had no idea it was our anniversary. There is apparently no difference in service. My hubs ordered a glass of merlot and I ordered their lemon/blueberry martini. The merlot was nice but the martini was out of this world. My new fave drink! We started with the asparagus dip and again, the best we'd ever tried. We ordered their smothered chicken and an off menu pasta with sausage. Both were incredible. I wanted to try their pasta so I ordered a side of fettuccine in herbed butter. It too was lovely. The venue is in the basement of a former Carnegie Library. It's a little dark and has a speakeasy feel. We turned the lamp on our table to a brighter setting to see a bit better. Our server was Chris. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the food, business and building. The GM, Jeremy, gave us a tour of the upstairs portion of the building where they hold specialty events. Overall, we loved all of our evening and were able to have this experience right at $100 for both of us. We'll be back!

This is one of those libraries, making it a special building. The new ownership has added a patio on the front. Nice umbrella tables and chairs and a pizza plaza in the back They bake wood fired pizza in the evening The menu is an all day menu. They have about 5 sandwiches and 1/2 order of pasta for lunch. Otherwise you can order anything off the menu. Their menu includes steaks, etc and is a little pricey . I had the breaded tenderloin. It was not your usual. It looked as though it had been breaded in some kind of cheese mixture. It was pan friend and the underside of my tenderloin looked like a carbon copy. It was burnt. I ate about1/4 of it. I did not care for the breading. My friends had the tenderloin and a French dip sandwich. She took the French dip home for her dog as it was too tough to eat. We had a great wait staff that checked on us and gave us time to catch up with each other Since this is an old library, there is no elevator. It is necessary to walk down 20ish steps to the main dining room. No matter what shape you are in, those steps are a hazard Would I go back again? Not for lunch, maybe dinner or pizza.

The cocktail actually had some heat, and the glass was rimmed with Everything Bagel Seasoning. I'd never had that before. It was a tasty touch. The candied bacon garnish was divine. We ended up ordering a second round. The Jalapeño Deviled Eggs are outstanding. Smooth and creamy, topped with jalapeño and candied bacon. Every bite was a pleasure. For entrees, I got the Bourbon Jalapeño Shrimp. It had a light kick and tasted incredible. My husband ordered the Rise & Shine Chicken Biscuit. It was all tasty, but that biscuit was fluffy and salty, exactly how a good biscuit should be. Our server made the whole meal. She was friendly and patient with me even though I was having more trouble than usual deciding what to order. She also mixed our Bloody Marys, so she was working double duty and doing it well. The space strikes a balance between sophisticated and casual, so you can dress up or keep it relaxed and feel comfortable either way. We'll definitely be back!

I know this because we were seated right next to the bar and she was asking another lady how to make it. This is supposedly a Bourbon bar and you don't know how to make a Manhattan? They totally served it in a martini glass and without ice (supposed to have one large cube). I had to take ice from my water glass and add to the drink. It was Meh. Our young waitress then rang in the wrong order for me. They brought out our food and my order was totally something else. She immediately said "that was my bad" and had to go change it. I waited while my wife ate her food. Of course there was no offer to discount our meal at all. We have eaten here over a dozen times and this was just terrible. Come on Antilogy, hire competent people. You can do better than this.

The first time at the Corner Stone bakery we walked out after not getting our meal after waiting for an hour, so this time we're not getting fooled again. The difference at Storie's is our server Kelli recognized the issue, and told us there was a kitchen issues after our dinner was not out after 20 minutes. Kelli told us what was happening, gave us free pie and took our drinks off our bill and asked if we wanted it to go. Our dinner was finally ready after 35 minutes, so we boxed it up and went home. Kelli apologized multiple times, and that's how service is supposed to happen. The pie was fantastic, apple and coconut cream. Fish was very good, shrimp was good, mashed potatoes and corn ok. Tartar sauce, yummy. Thanks to Kelli for making our long wait

Great american diner and people that work there! Food was exceptional! Donna asked me if I wanted my bacon crispy, stated the sausage gravy had a hint of spice, and that the biscuits were good. She was spot on about everything and it was great! My compliments to Donna and the kitchen staff!! Well done !!!! I recommend sitting by the booth near the kitchen window.
