So I won a sneaker raffle here and was excited to pick em up on release day. They got my pair and the box has a tear. Asked them nicely if they could replace the box they refused to even check if there is an available one. I drove almost an hour to pick up my sneakers and they won't even check. I mean, I am paying exactly the same amount as everybody else why should I settle for a torn box? Very poor customer service. Left immediately, I guess they don't want my money. read more

We called yesterday. My sister asked if she can send her sister to pick up her online order because she's working. The male employee yes it's not a problem that's on a Sunday. I drove all the way from Long Beach I got to the store this lady wearing sweats and a shirt asked if I need help. She said she's the manager. She told me that the person who ordered needs to pick it up. Then they need to train their employees right. And being a manager you cannot talk to the customer then walk away..And dress professionally!! What ever happened to the dress code policy at your store!! I think if u dress professionally and talk to customers professionally not talk to the customer across the store, will bring more revenue to your store. read more

My daughter and I walk in 30 minutes before closing on Sunday. We took a quick look around and an employee named Jasmine asked if we needed help. Jasmine was courteous and pleasant in answering our questions. We left without making a purchase. We returned 10 minutes before closing. My teenage daughter is now frustrated because she can't find the shoe she wants. Jasmine was sincerely welcoming again and went above and beyond to find a size another employee needed was not available. Not once did she display any frustration in our indecisiveness. She was calm and professional the entire time. We were thankful for her service and asked if they had an employee survey to commend her and she said no. Turns out she's modest too. It's a good feeling when you walk into a store and are greeted immediately. All the employees said Hello. Shawn walked up and offered his assistance right away. They don't have a huge selection but they had a couple good deals and they have a few different style for the whole family. One wall was all ladies shoes. Sad to say they have the worst customer service here Bought some nike shoes that ended up being 75$ so I expect to get what I'm paying clean brand new shoes but the boss /owner or whoever that rude old man was well the case is that I got the shoes and notice they had a yellow stain on them thru the inside and ask if they had new ones due to the stain the guy said no these are last pair so since I didn't have a choice I got them I ask if I could get a discount or atleast no tax charge he said no I can't if u don't like them !!! DONT BUY THEM I WAS LIKE WOW HOW RUDE!!! so my husband insisted and said it's fine will buy them but we are leaving a bad review ......once the old rude mans heard my husband say that he was like sorry I'm not selling u the shoes If u leave a bad review I was like wtf I'm still gonna but them I have a freedom of speech and freedom of my own opinion soo we got them and we are stroll leaving this review !!!!! I used to love this store when a manager named Kim was here. But this new manager Sandra is literally the most mean and toxic manager ever. To customers and especially employees. I was there for a raffle win the other day . Other kids were in line for some other shoe. So she walks up to me and ask me what the whole group is there for the raffle wins. I said" I am " . She asks me what about everyone else I said I can't speak for everyone else but I'm here for that reason. She got a attitude and asked my name . My first name is hard to pronounce so I told her my last name as I looked up on my app for my confirmation. She looked at me like I was lying and said did I even win. Then asked me if I was ok. Mind you she was dressed in literally pajamas with no name tag.Avoid this mean ol lady at all costs. Her team members on the floor were standing around they weren't greeting or getting peoples shoes. The biggest part is I seen employees from compton Shiekh picking up shoes from her that I know where supposed to be for the regular public. To start off the employees do not look or dress professional what so ever, hard to tell them apart from other customers. A couple of girls were in sweatpants. Second, most of the girls working there are beyond rude. I asked a worker for a size while she was straightening up some shoes and she didn't turn to look at me, she just reached her hand out back for the shoe I had, proceeded to fix the shoes for another 5 mins before she went back to get my size. When she came back with my size, she left it on the bench and walked away, I had to find the shoe on the bench myself. read more

Best Shiekh in so cal . The employees Kimberly and Alejandra. Were super helpful,hard working and polite. Even when a customer got nasty and was disrespecting the girls. They held their composure. Continued the sale and said have a nice day. Wish i had a better tolerance for B.S. These woman need to be praised they run that store like they are the GM. I waited 30 minutes to return a pair of shoes, besides the fact that the dumb bitch lost my receipt and blamed me. I'll never go back, plus they never have the size you're looking for. I went back to this store because the prices are competitive and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Saul helped me that day and provided great customer service. She took the time to actually look in the back and after came back and assured me she would keep looking and calling for them. She called me today and let me know the shoes would be available soon. Where do I being I went on December 31 around 2pm their was 2 girls working one looked like she was super hungover and didn't want to assist with anything customers would ask for the other girl at the counter just didn't seem to be having it that's she had to work I'm not quite sure for other people but walking into a store with employees that come off in a moody way makes you not want to shop there I rather drive a couple miles to another mall just because of the simplicity of having good customer service you should be receiving so I decided to come back the next day to see if my experience would be different I walked in right away their was employee eating a cupcake telling another employee "I'll pay you back tomorrow stop worrying about it damn" not sure if they were on the clock or not but usually when you take breaks shouldn't be in the work place and step outside I continue walk towards the back and get the shoe I wanted but sad to say only pair they had was the display model usually from my experience they give you 10% off due to the fact it's been worn and touched by many people so I walk to the counter one of the employees was on the phone another was next to her and wasn't sure how to answer my question on the discount so I had to wait once she got off she went to the back to ask another employee his response was their nothing wrong so no and he continued to a eat his cupcake ... I wasn't satisfied with the customer service here what so ever I wished I had went to Downey to get my shoes the idea of having 5 employees on a Monday and not having one that takes their job seriously is disappointing read more

I was looking for a Reebok Answer IV because Kobe used to wear the answer iv when he stop the contract with Adidas. I was looking around the whole shopping mall to see if any of these five sneaker stores would have some left. Shoepalace employees don't even give a shit. They just told me they don't have it without asking me anything or checking on their useless computer. Guys working for Finishline ask me to find the product number myself and tell me they can not find it because they can only use some kind of BS numbers...and their manager refuse to spend his time to looking it for me. Footlocker and Champs' employee greeted me nicely and checked for me. Although they don't have anything in stock I feel much better than Shoepalace and Finishline. Shiekh becomes my last hope at this moment. I wasn't expecting a warm welcome from Shiekh but Saul greeted me very nicely. He was very patient. Inside of ask me finding stuff myself, he helped me looking the stuff on his OWN cellphone, and called warehouse. He spend about 30 mins to try to find this pair Iverson Answer IV for me. YES HE DID FIND IT, THE VERY LAST PAIR in Shiekh Warehouse!!!!!!!!! He also called me when the shoes got deliver to the store. I want appreciate Saul for helping me find the shoes(Great Deal!!!!!!)and grading an A+ for this experience. I honestly think all of employee that work in sneaker shops should be like Saul. Definitely win my business and will highly recommend my friend and others to go shop at Shiekh!!!!!!! read more

Bought a pair of Nike shoes at full price. Went home and tried them on and was about to go out and I noticed the shoe was hurting my ankle when I was walking. Went to get a refund at the store the next day but they said they will only do a exchange and not refund my money. If you buy something here don't expect to get a refund.
