This is a solid spot if you need work shoes whether you're in a blue-collar trade, the medical field, or something like first response where you need steel-toe boots or something durable that can take a beating. The employees here are genuinely sweet and super knowledgeable about what they carry and what works best depending on your line of work. The store isn't huge, but it's definitely not cramped either. They carry a good amount of workwear too, and a lot of it goes on sale. I also think they work with certain employers; like if your job covers shoes or uniforms, they'll take those vouchers or slips (not sure what it's officially called, but you know what I mean). Either way, this is a great go-to if you need work shoes or gear. They've got a big selection in the back too, so even if you don't see your size or style out front, just ask. Stopped by the Shoeteria on Washington in Commerce. Was interested in a Timberland Pro shoe, but they did not have my size. I asked if any other location had the shoe in my size. The question was not answered, however I was told they had it in their warehouse. But to transfer the shoe, I had to pre-purchase. Really??? Your company will not restock a size 12 shoe without the customer pre-purchasing it??? That did not seem reasonable to me.
