When I looked at menu, little wide eyed over prices, but once you get your food it all makes sense. The serving sizes were large. The food was great. We started off with the Mantu (dumplings) these were absolutely amazing! There had do be at least a dozen in the order. The flavor was so good! And they were smothered with a tasty yogurt sauce! I could of just ordered those and been happy! For my meal got the Vaziri, with chicken and lamb. I loved it. The lamb was delicious, and the chicken was seasoned and cooked well, and some of the best saffron basmati rice! It came with a green hot sauce and a white sauce, both delicious!!! The hot sauce brought the heat. Also tried the Kabuili Palau, national dish of Afghanistan. Again large portion, with flavor. Not my favorite dish, but was happy give it a try! The naan was not the naan I'm use too, the table enjoyed it. Sipped on the saffron Tea. It was good came piping hot, with a honey stick, I tried it before the honey stick and really didn't need it but after the honey stick it did kick the taste up! The service, the staff there (two we saw) super nice, but service definitely lacks. We were the only ones in there for the majority of our lunch and other than taking our order and bringing food we didn't see anyone. I even had to go to counter get check and to go boxes. Again, they are super nice when Interacting, but if you are someone wants constant interaction, this was not our experience.

We started with chicken samosas and poppers with fries for appetizers. The family bundles made for more affordable and easy ordering. We opted for the tandoori bundle with a few different chicken based dishes, a salad, and naan for $39.99. Then we added on the cheese naan. Salad is your basic iceberg salad with olives, cucumbers, and tomatoes. The curry had a thickened tomato soup-like base but seasoned well and great for dipping the naan. Chicken Tikka kebab came with both leg and breast meat. The tandoori over rice was seasoned with cilantro and a creamy sauce. The server was very friendly and appreciative of the business. He wasn't an owner but showed a lot of pride for the restaurant. He brought rice pudding out for the kids at the end. Atmosphere is very casual and outdated. To the right is counter service for easy takeout ordering. Then to the left is eat in with a waiter. Drinks are all canned/bottle. There's a kulfi case with a bunch of flavors to pick from for dessert. Looked yummy, but we were pretty full.

I ordered it to go. Everything was well packaged; sealed with plastic wrap, no items missing. I also want to say, although this is my first time trying their food as I have a favorite spot already, I have picked up other deliveries here and the staff is always very kind! You can dine in as well and the ambience is dark and warm with dark woods. As for the food itself, it wasn't my favorite, but nothing was terribly wrong with it either. I found the korma and especially the karahi more thin than I prefer. I like the "sauce" thicker in consistency. Also, the top note of spices was not my favorite ... but taste is subjective and this is just my personal preference. However, they were generous with the chicken! The vegetable biryani was lacking in veggies too. There were a few peas and mostly chunks of cauliflower. It just sort of missed the mark for me. But I wouldn't advise anyone not to go there or anything; the business has been around for quite a while! It just wasn't my personal favorite given my other choices but I wanted to try a new place for Indian food. Prices were pretty much on par with other Indian restaurants in the area.

Even though I needed to people help me back up, the experience was fun! The service was top notch. Two woman took care of us. Super friendly and helpful, as we had some questions on the food. Kind wish they always put pictures of the food on the menu so you at least get an idea of what the dish is when you not familiar with the dishes. But, she was very helpful and super nice. The food.. excellent! Serving sizes are large. The food came out piping hot, fresh and again delicious. We started with the chilli chicken and chicken Pakora. They came out with three side sauces, not sure what they were but all three were tasty. The chilli chicken was white meat chicken, super flavorful with a nice spice level. The fry on the pakora was good and seasoned well also. For my meal I went with the paneer butter masala. This dish was amazing. Came with a side of rice which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. There butter masala is so dam good! I'm a big cheese girl so I went with the paneer, just YUMMMMM. Dipped it with garlic naan, which again so good. The naan was crispy on outside and nice soft on the inside with just right amount of garlic. We also got the sesame naan which was good as well. My two friends for there meals went with the Chicken Tikka and the Chicken Haleem, they both loved. Our server over heard it was my birthday lunch so she brought us out Gulan Jamun. I would describe these delicious balls as like a mix between a donut and cake? It was good. It came out nice and warm and the balls are soaked with some sort of honey mixture. The bites actually tasted little like French toast to me, but again whatever they were they were delicious. I'm not a sweets person, and this was just the right level for my likin

We started with the lentil soup, boiling hot and full of lemon juice and black pepper. Mango lassis for both of us, and when we asked for tap water, we were given an entire pitcher of ice water for the table, with two cups. My husband ordered lamb handi, cubes of tender meat in a thick gravy with tomatoes, onions and green peppers. He had ordered it "Medium spicy", but I think the kitchen was grading on a curve: It was less punchy than the soup. Still, I wouldn't order "Hot" as I once did here: The chef takes pride in his liberal use of peppers at this level. (The menu warns you: "This is a dish for stronger constitutions"). My lamb shashlik was char grilled on a skewer (thoughtfully removed prior to serving) with slices of tomato, onions and green peppers, plated on a sizzling iron plate. The chunks of lamb had been marinated: They were so tender! The garlic naan? Fresh from a tandoor oven, with a little char, lots of butter and garlic, and a little parsley. It was so fresh and good!
