DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more We ordered very large master bathroom vanity cabinets from Rick in the Chantilly VA location Nov 2022, the cabinets were delivered on time, early Jan 2023. First, the delivery company was very unprofessional and rude. They proceeded to tell me that Cabinet Discounters should have told me that they will only leave them in the garage, which I said I was never told that and it's winter and I do not want them to warp. They ended up leaving the cabinets in the middle of my dining room...6 extremely large boxes. My contractor attempted to install them a few days later and notice one of the doors was not the same design as the rest of the doors. We also noticed a drawer was broken and several panels were warped and not able to align. We called Rick, sent pictures and he ordered the "correct" panel (which when rec'd, was a different color, therefore we had to re-order again). After much back and forth with Rick and he telling me that we will have to pay for someone to come out and "fix" their issue, Rick then came out to our house to see if he can align the cabinets and also to assess the issues. He confirmed there were major issues with the panels and that the doors were warped, etc. Rick took pictures and was supposed to write up what he observed and what was being orders so that we knew what deliveries to expect. We never rec'd a write up from Rick... we then proceeded with in the next few weeks to get 3 additional shipments of panels that were ordered. Again, when we received the additional panels, one broken (which again we had to have another replacement). Once ALL replacement doors were recd, we had our contractor come back (additional cost to us) to attempt to reinstall the 6 panels. Our contractor noticed some of the "new" panels are longer than other, some are wider than others, and again some appear to be warped since they cannot close flush. Again, he was unable to be aligned some cabinets. We have sent emails, made phone calls, Rick has told us that the manufacture is going to call us back, #homecrest and we haven't heard from anyone. It's been over two months now that we have had cabinets installed (without panels), over half of the panels are sitting in my hallway, paid in FULL, paid our contractor additional money in an attempt to "reinstall" the cabinets two separate times. We have had a master bath completely renovated and been waiting two months to be able to use our cabinets. This is horrible customer service, horrible products. They haven't acknowledged the time, money and inconvenience this has caused. They have completely gone silent.

He helped me pick out carpeting and vinyl for my new home that was in my budget, pet friendly and beautiful. I also wanted to refinish the flooring - Fred is an expert and could identify the type of wood on sight and was able to make great recommendations for how to go about the job. Fred's team finished all of the carpeting, vinyl and refinishing within 6 days. When they discovered rotting floor boards, his team did an amazing job of removing the damaged wood and replacing the plywood. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend Fred and his team. Thank you for the beautiful job and finishing everything on time so I could move in!!

Fred was super knowledgeable about all of the flooring choices offered, and despite the size of the store, they have a lot. When the pillows came in, I picked them up at the store and placed them in the 2 rooms. It was immediately apparent that the fabric selected did not match my existing decor. I reached out to the store and the designer who helped me had already moved on so I explained the situation to the store manager who made an appointment to come to my home and assess the situation. Upon seeing the pillows in the rooms she agreed that the fabric color was wrong and the sizing of the pillows for the chairs was too large. She went back to the store and ordered additional samples for me to consider. Once I received them and tried them out the room it was clear to me that those samples wouldn't work either. I emailed the manager and explained that the new samples weren't going to work asking if anything else could be done to help me. I never heard back from her. I sent a follow up email and never heard back from her at all. I understand that the pillows were custom made for me and that more than likely I wouldn't be able to return them, but I was making my decision based on their designer's recommendation which was clearly wrong. It really bothered me that I never heard back from the store manager, so I took it one step further and sent an email to the customer service department. It has been over a month and I have yet to hear anything from them. I have been a customer of Calico for over 18 years and this is how it ends. I would be very careful if you are considering using this company. While that would not have been my opinion previously things have definitely changed and the talent of the designers and the customer service has decreased significantly.

Really appreciate the quick response from J & Son with a price quote. We brought the chairs to their shop & they were thorough & quick with turn around. The quality of repair & attention to detail is fantastic; they were able to save the fabric & perfectly match the wood coloring. I've attached a couple before and after photos below.
