If you have ​N​EVER called, engaged, ​h​ired, requested services,​ signed a work-order or contract and still want to be ABUSED, HARASSED and EXTORTED by a company - Rose Restoration should be your first stop! I hired a commercial general contractor (GC) and my fixed-bid contract was ONLY with the GC. The GC has freedom to hire any person to work on the project. Rose Restoration was subcontracted by my GC's vendor. Rose Restoration is claiming that the vendor that contracted them did not pay them even though we have paid 100% of what was owed to the vendor. They are claiming that there were change-orders that are pending. I asked them to present me the approved change-orders in Aug 2025 which they still haven't done. We do not pay any more than the contract states except if we receive a change order. The change order has to be approved before any work stated on the change order is performed. No change order was ever presented to us - I had not even heard of Rose Restoration till months after the project was delivered. After the project was delivered, we paid 100% of what was owed to the GC as that is our only legal touch-point. Rose Restoration has been haranguing me - who they have never met or engaged - instead of taking it up with the vendor who contracted them. Even though I did not know them and had no legal obligation to them, I tried to help them out by facilitating this issue with the GC and the vendor. If the basis ​for the dispute has been the change orders, why can't they present it even after 6 months? Just leads me to believe that this is just an attempt to EXTORT. Avoid this business like the plague - if this is how they treat people with whom they do not have a work-order or contract, I can only imagine how they treat their direct customers. read more

Rose Restoration was great for repairing a large crack & two chips on my marble dining table that I got from an outlet. They filled them with color-matching epoxy resin and smoothed it down, so it looks like-new now & gives me piece of mind that the crack won't expand further. This is specifically for their concrete work, as it's the work I've hired them for. They get stars for having a VERY sweet and professional work crew. They are hard workers and take great care to do what they can for your floors. Where I dock the points is in the execution of something that, for a concrete floor professional, should be straightforward: epoxy fillers for holes/cracks. For those of you who have concrete floors and are advised to patch any holes with epoxy filler, and then are assured that the color is mixed to match the concrete, please heed this advice. You have to make sure they acknowledge that concrete has different colors in different spots. In some it's more gray-toned, in others, more brown-toned. The Rose folks mixed only one color, a kind of caramel color, that blended perfectly when applied to the holes that had surrounding concrete that same tone. However, I was completely baffled when they stuck to that same caramel color when patching the parts of the floor that had a dark gray tone. It looks like someone spilled a latte! To think, this was the second time they tried to do a proper job for me. The first time they consistently used a dark brown epoxy that looked like dirt all along the perimeter when applied to the holes there. You would just think that for a company that specializes in flooring, including concrete flooring, they should know better than to use one color stubbornly all over a floor that has a few different colors. They get one star for being really nice, one for coming out another time, and one for the overall sheen/grinding. But the epoxy job... What a let down. See photos to see what I mean. read more

Review for customer service only- received no response after initial conversation with representative. Left a message with their answering service- quickly received a call back from representative. He was working remotely, seemed friendly and knowledgeable, had a dog; good conversation. Promised to get back to me with when someone could come out for an estimate. I followed up with a direct text, two call backs to the company, two more voice messages- no response. If a service is not offered, or Bethesda is out of your service area, I would at least expect a call back with a quick response stating that- no problem. Complete silence from a business is a very poor experience. read more

I took a chance. I was pressed for time and impressed with Scott, who came out to give me an estimate, so signed on to have Rose Restoration repair our kitchen countertops without speaking to other contractors. Wow! Not only did the technician do a gorgeous job repairing our marble but he cleaned and polished it so it looks better than new. The technician was also very thoughtful, such as taking off his shoes before he entered the house. I can't recommend Rose Restoration highly enough. read more

Rose Restoration did an amazing job repairing a crack in my kitchen granite countertop. Mario used his skills to blend the colors so that the crack looked like a vein in the granite. It looked far better than we had ever imagined! It was a pleasure having Mario in our house. He worked very hard to keep the area where he worked clean and worked to show us what he was doing. Although I have not had work done by this company yet, I'd like to let people know about this company because it's hard to find good people. Hunter Dasch, the VP, is a very honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and helpful person. He made a trip all the way to my house to give me advice on my marble and granite tile. Even though it ended up in no work for his company, he took his time to explain things to me and to give me helpful tips. That may sound small, but I hardly ever find someone willing to take time to give advice if it doesn't end up in them receiving money. When I do have restoration tile work, he'll be the one doing it. read more

Rose Restoration is exceptional as restoring countertops and flooring in large or small areas. I have seen their work and recently had them fix a kitchen countertop that had been significantly damaged by a extremely poor attempt to fix a bad spill. Hunter the Operations Head came to us and quickly reassured us that they could fix the major problem. Mario arrived in less than a week and was just superb and even cleanly in fixing the problem and making all our kitchen granite love like new. I used the company today for the second time and am as pleased today as I was in 2010 when they refinished the marble vanity top and floor of my second bathroom. Today I had a small marble vanity counter top refinished and it looks brand new! My earlier review I wrote in Checkbook.org on June 29, 2010 I wrote to the company: I am thrilled with the work your company did refinishing the marble vanity and floor in my marble bathroom!!! My marble bathroom looks brand new the way it did when I had it installed 20 years ago. It is awesome! Also I am thrilled with the look of the "epoxy resin" grout! I am pleased that I was given options and happy that I chose that one. It was the most expensive but I can see it is clearly worth it as your staff advised given the history of loose grout I had. I would be very happy to be a reference for your company. Please have anyone interested contact me via email. I can attest to the very high quality of work the Mario did. I had another company refurbish the same areas 10 years ago - a large marble countertop and the marble floor. When they finished the bath it looked better but nowhere close to the appearance it now has. In addition, the previous company's procedure pulled out some of the grout which they did not repair. Also, your staff helped me realize I was using a wrong type of cleaning product for the marble contributing to the dullness. I very much appreciate that. read more

This is the second time I've used Rose Restoration. The first time was in 2010 when I had an old antique marble coffee table top resurfaced, on which they did an outstanding job. Today was a bit more complicated. We had to replace our kitchen faucet, and the one we selected would not fit..in short, the sink holes were right up against the granite underneath the counter top, making it impossible to fasten this faucet to the sink. I contacted Hunter at Rose Restoration over the weekend, sent him a few pictures, and he said they could help. His crew showed up two days earlier than I had hoped (which was great, since you can imagine how inconvenient it is to be without a functioning kitchen sink). They were extremely neat, covered everything in plastic, and then cleaned up after themselves extremely well. And most importantly, they cut the granite perfectly, and everything now fits as it should. I can't thank them enough. They do excellent work, are responsive, timely and efficient. They protected the walls and adjacent finishes and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. The results are even better than we expected.
