While we were not able to find those, sadly, the owner (I think) and his employee went out of their way to see how they could help me. I had already checked at Home Depot while buying bird seed, but they had not had it come in for over a year and were not sure when it was coming in. I called Walmart, Loews, and two garden stores in the area too. They did not have any in stock either. On a whim I stopped in here again, asked the employee if they had it, he took me to the aisle and there it was!! I scooped up the two boxes they had. Return the unit to the store and I was charged a 20% restocking fee which amounted to $50. I was going to purchase the larger one as soon as the return was complete, but I told him what they could do with their plasma cutter then told them they lost a customer and I walked out. I canceled the inside track membership a couple years ago because that just was a waste of money and now I'm canceling harbor freight. Update - Writing this review reignited my anger, so I tried one more time by spending 34 minutes (22 of it on hold). All I received from that waste of time was that they will send a letter to the district manager?? Now I'm pissed so I go to the store and politely demanded my money back. I got my money back and a lame excuse. In all 1hr 15 minutes round trip. All this time for 50 bucks, I guess it's the principal of it.

They were reasonably and friendly and I don't really have any negatives whatsoever. Since that job (which was in September), I've recommended Hector's to two or three different people. If you have any home improvement type stuff to do, as much as Home Depot and Loews get all the press, Hector's is my tip for your best bet.

Hector's has been my "go to" store for everything I need to fix something for 25 years if I am serious about getting what I need quickly and as efficiently as possible. They pack an enormous amount of useful items in comparatively smaller stores than Home Depot, Lowes or even Valu but you don't feel you are in "cluttered" stores. Everything is kept organized so you can find things quickly. They hire people that know exactly what you need and if they don't they are not afraid to ask the senior staffer. I have never left a store without either the exact item or items I need to complete the task or the knowledge to go exactly where I need to for whatever I am searching for that day. I do still visit the big chains for sale items on occasion but I feel when I go into those stores there is sensory overload with all the items and sheer size of the that I many times forget what I went there for in the first place!! The other thing that drives me to madness is the inability to find somebody to ask a question in the area I am looking. Sure I can find somebody for a question I have about some electrical project but I usually have to walk to the other side of the store before I find somebody and then that guy has to put a call out on the radio to the people who can handle electrical and maybe just maybe I will get an associate in the electrical area in 10-20 minutes. Go to Hectors for anything you need and I am sure you will walk out a happy camper in a fraction of the time it would of taken you with other places.
