Restocking fee? What a joke! Purchased a plasma cutter…read more Before opening I realized that I needed the next size larger unit. Return the unit to the store and I was charged a 20% restocking fee which amounted to $50. I was going to purchase the larger one as soon as the return was complete, but I told him what they could do with their plasma cutter then told them they lost a customer and I walked out. I canceled the inside track membership a couple years ago because that just was a waste of money and now I'm canceling harbor freight. Update - Writing this review reignited my anger, so I tried one more time by spending 34 minutes (22 of it on hold). All I received from that waste of time was that they will send a letter to the district manager?? Now I'm pissed so I go to the store and politely demanded my money back. I got my money back and a lame excuse. In all 1hr 15 minutes round trip. All this time for 50 bucks, I guess it's the principal of it.

The employees were even more helpful than I could have imagined, sitting down with me at their inspiration station to go over every color, sheen and size of paint I needed and reviewing it with me afterwords. They got all the paint cans and carried them back to mix and loaded them in my car without me having to lift a finger. They worked with me and the coupons I had to make sure that I was getting the best deal possible which was a relief not to have to haggle with them to use my coupons.
