I believe the Twenty Mile store is for contractors only. Yesterday's visit for a gallon of paint (for my front door and trim) was the best paint store experience I've ever had. Though he was walking back to finish up with his customer, the manager took a moment to greet me and find out what I was looking for. He told me he would finish up with the customer already there and then get my order ready. As I waited and walked around the store (I waited about 10 minutes), a few people came in after me. The manager took a moment with the folks who walked in to greet them and, when possible, to find out their needs so he could quickly get their order started in the back (there were other employees helping in the back, etc, not just him). He was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and personal to everyone in the store -- both contractor and regular people alike. He kept things moving along. He took the initiative to find an active coupon and saved me 35%! (I found the link to current SW coupons and will post it at the end). I was so surprised and grateful! Six years ago, my husband and I replaced our fence -- he replaced and I painted. Our HOA requires SW paint for exterior jobs. I recall feeling like one in a herd back then, as I waited a long time, etc. The new manager brings great customer service to the store. And our fence's SW paint still looks awesome and brand new, 6 years later! Even though it's southern-facing and gets all the sun (I used rollers and a paint brush instead of a sprayer). Cashier made a mistake and sold me soil that wasn't in stock. I found this out when I got to the pickup area and couldn't find the product. Garden Center Manager processed refund but acted like I was interrupting her day. She was also sucking on a straw and drinking a drink in front of me, which seems very unprofessional for a management level person to be doing. We contacted them fairly last minute with a…read morejob for refinishing all of our old wood trim, baseboards, and window sills, plus painting a few rooms. The job took a couple days longer than expected but such is life when you're working with a lot of sq ft and simultaneously just had the floors refinished. The team was *incredibly thorough* with protecting the floors, walls, and other areas that weren't being painted. All of their prep work was top notch. The trim and baseboards came out gorgeous. And the rooms we had painted look incredible. It was a little more expensive than a couple other quotes, but I am very happy and feel like it was money well spent for very professional work. Attached photos are just two rooms, the green room they painted and did the baseboards. But they did work in 8-12 rooms in our house depending on how you count and every single one turned out great.

My husband reached out to Steve about the warranty, and even though he hadn't had a chance to follow up, Steve came out on his own to check things out and got us scheduled for the touch-ups.
