Knowledgeable and Generous Staff…read more Never thought I would be reviewing a paint supply store, but my experience here was so good I had to share. The staff went above and beyond when helping me out. They helped me with my very complex color, explained which products fit my needs, and took the extra time to ensure I had everything I needed. Their knowledge paid off as well! I've painted many times before, but certain items (paint brushes, specific tape, etc.) really made a difference. I'll definitely be back again.

I love being able to call, get my questions answered and have a professional opinion. Most recently I've saved plenty of time by calling in advance and having my paint pre-mixed and shaken at pickup. Although it can be seen as a bit on the pricier side the ease of application of paint and quality of materials are well worth it.

While the selection of colors here isn't as extensive as Benjamin Moore, they did have some good shades to pick from. The samples came in a fairly large plastic jar, for a very reasonable price. The only gloss choice they have for the samples is "velvet", which was fine since that was the finish we wanted for our interior anyways. The paint was easy to apply, with good coverage. I've been by a few times, and each time service has been cheerful and friendly. With our paint job finished, I'm loving the wall colors! We also had our exterior trim painted which Dunn-Edwards matched quite well using a paint chip from a Sherwin Williams brand color. Our trim also looks great!

World class customer service. You are wasting your time if you buy paint anywhere else…read more I've been a Benjamin Moore paint fan for a while, and having decided to redo my kitchen cabinets- it was time for paint and supplies. In the past I've gotten my Ben Mo paint at ACE- but their selection and knowledge base was very inconsistent. I found AAA paint from the Benjamin Moore website- listing them as an authorized retailer. I popped over on a late Friday and got help from David and Jessica. First- the store is laid out so well, and has everything you could possibly need. I thought I had a decent idea of what I needed from YouTube- but AAA provided me so much quality info on how to make my project a success- I was really blown away. The internet is great and all, but these are professionals who eat, breathe and sleep all things paint. I got some awesome cabinet paint which is commercial grade and will hold up longer than my house. I got my tape and rollers and I was really impressed with their competitive pricing. I honestly would be ok with elevated pricing on the smaller stuff, since it's a smaller business- but they don't do that here. I cannot impress upon you enough how rad this place is. I never need to step foot in any other business for anything paint related. This place is the Nordstrom's customer service level of paint. So, stick with Lowe's or Home Depot for random lawnmower stuff- if you need paint and a huge and friendly knowledge base- look no further.

This store used to carry primarily Benjamin Moore paints, in addition to stains and accessories…read more Now they have added Ralph Lauren, and a few other brands too. I'm not a professional painter, but I've gone through an awful lot of paint in the past few years - I'm talking a good 40+ gallons, easily. I also happen to be a big fan of Consumer Reports...but for some reason they always rate Behr (home depot) as the best brand of paint. I've used Behr, Sherwin Williams, Olympic, Glidden, and Benjamin Moore. Hands down, BM wins. They have so many beautiful colors, even if you try one out and it's not quite what you want, it still looks damn good on the walls. The other great thing about this store, is it's one of those long-standing locally owned small businesses. The guy that runs this store is very friendly and helpful. It's 2011, I shouldn't have to be excited about it, but this store has never treated me like i was a dumb skinny girl who didn't know her way around a paintbrush. It seemed that every time I went to Sherwin Williams or Dunn Edwards, I get some dumbass questioning why I want to use oil-based paint because "it's such a mess to clean up." Color Wheel can also help you pick out colors if you aren't quite sure what you're doing, and you can get smaller sized cans of paint for samples to test. Yes, the paint here is very expensive. You have 2 choices: 1. buy another brand and hate yourself for cheaping out every time you look at the wall. 2. buy the benjamin moore, enjoy the painting process, and love your walls. Oh yeah and feel that warm glow from supporting a local business! Someday, when I get nice bedroom furniture, I'm going to paint over the shitty Behr paint in there with BM.
