The job I had on this day was a rather large commercial job and by the middle of the job the bushing and bearing failed on me causing me to drive on damaged wheels back to the truck. While driving my rig the 3.5 miles back on pavement with bad bushing and bearings it caused the tires to wear pretty bad, So when I made it home that afternoon I took the wheels and tires back to my local harbor freight store nearest to my home to exchange defective merchandise! I presented my receipt to Joana the teller in which she advised me to go ahead and grab a new set to complete the exchange. So l did so, When I came back to the check out counter (TONY) the manager! Told me he will not except my return and when I asked why he told me that the damage to the wheels and tires did not happen that day and that the wear in the tires happened over a period of time which was not the case! I explained to him that I am a small business owner and the bushings and bearing were defective and he blatantly called me a liar and refused my exchange even though I was clearly with-in my 90 day return policy. (TONY) was very unprofessional at handling this situation. He showed no empathy nor did he show any proper communication skills, This boy needs to put in her place by her superiors before somebody else puts her in her place for talking like an ignorant animal to customers! This employee shows horrible value in loyal paying customers!

Instead of coming over and asking how he could assist, Ronny said to the cashier, within earshot of us, "If they know what they want I can help them because I can't read minds." It came across as dismissive and rude. We weren't asking him to read our minds -- we wanted basic assistance. A store manager should be setting the standard for customer service, not making sarcastic comments about customers asking for help.

Sam is AMAZING! The SW paint applied by my home builder was much more beige than I had anticipated…read more& it was driving me nuts for 3 years. I was paralyzed & unable to decorate because the beige was throughout the entire home & did not fit my modern/minimalist aesthetic. I tried Home Depot first & brought home 4 paint samples of whites - all too yellow. So I decided to go to Sherwin Williams hoping they'd be able to steer me in the right direction. They suggested whites, but the 2 samples they provided still weren't right. I went back again trying to figure out a fix & wound up even more lost. I figured Benjamin Moore was my last stop before I completely gave up. I explained my dilemma Sam who was more than eager to steer me in the right direction. He asked what my ideal white was & what my goal was. He suggested chantilly lace then printed out the color composition of 3 whites I was considering. He showed me that chantilly lace had only a hint of grey that resulted in a clean, pure white. I decided I would use that in flat & satin throughout the home for walls & trim. I shared my concern about my kitchen cabinet appearing off white & Sam traded out the trim choice for another bucket of paint I could apply to trim/doors/cabinetry. I then shared the use I was considering painting my window frames black & my bathroom vanity black. Sam pulls out another paint that I can apply to vinyl frames & bathroom cabinets. He even printed out & went over the manufacturer data sheets & showed me that Benjamin recommends this paint for this goal. I felt like Sam took the time to understand exactly what I wanted & tried to make the project as easy & cohesive as possible. He even stayed open late TWO days in a row to ensure I had what I needed & he seemed more than happy to do so. I now refuse to purchase my paint supplies anywhere else. If you're unhappy with anything in your house that can be painted - GO SEE SAM! I only wish I'd consulted with him 3 years ago. I am now off to begin painting 3100 sq feet of Benjamin moore chantilly lace!

I've been to this store many times before, but today (6/3/21) they had someone new. I think his name is Michael. I've never in my 79 years had a salesperson be this rude. I wanted a quart of paint. His job was to sell it to me - not tell me what to do with it. Because I had written on the top "for counter top" he insisted that he "didn't sell counter top paint." I knew what I was doing and tried to tell him that. I just wanted the paint! What I used it for was on me. This was a paint I had used for a counter top back splash. Not that it was his business. He finally told me to just leave if I "if I wasn't going to let him help me." I DID NOT need his help. I just needed the paint. I never raised my voice nor used inappropriate language. I left and went to the Benjamin Moore store on 1960. Nice people. DO NOT GO TO THE STORE at 21009 Kuykendahl.

The customer service at SW has gone downhill. It has become a norm for customers to wait 10+…read moreminutes to check out when there's no line at the checkout counter because they are mixing paint or locating inventory for an order. But it does not excuse the staff from NOT acknowledging the customer. I'm calling out Amber for providing the worst customer service of the day. This morning, I stopped by for some paint supplies and got in line at the checkout counter; I was next after the customer Amber was ringing up. When she was done ringing up the customer, she closed the drawer and walked away to the back counter. She did not acknowledge I was there nor let me know someone would be right with me. She stood around for 4-5 minutes doing nothing. Another staff member came from the back, and she told him to go see what I wanted. I came back a few hours later for additional supplies, and the same thing happened again with Amber. She didn't acknowledge me OR the other customers waiting. This time, a customer had to tell her and the other staff member to ring me up since I've been waiting for a while. I thanked the other customer for training the SW staff. I am reconsidering if I should continue shopping at SW. Most of SW stores short staff but at least they still understand customer service unlike this location.
