Although I'm a retired law professor, my dad was a house painter and I spent every summer and…read moreholidays helping him and learning the trade. I still can cut a very straight line at 80 years old. But this project, painting almost the entire inside, was simply too large. As always I got three bids, from three reliable companies. Two bids were very close. The third was so high it was laughable ( I have found this to be quite common when I took bids on other projects). I decided on Creekside Painting. Am I glad. They are a hands on group. I was kept informed at every step. They were always here on time and extremely professional. They left each day (6 days total) with my house back in order. Each painter was courteous, hard working, and knew their craft. The final product was gorgeous. We could not be happier. I felt their bid was very fair, and had them do some additional work at a reasonable cost. I would suggest just taking their bid alone, but I've found that taking three gives you a better picture. Finally, I give them MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION and if you hire them, I'm sure you will also. Byron Davis.

If Kroger's only sold items for over $20 I'd give them a bad review too. It may be best for their business model, but for a consumer looking for assistance for a smaller job-it doesn't help. :(- My best to you all!

If you want an HONEST and High Quality Standards Painter, you need to hire John McDonald! After…read moreseveral bids from various painters (where we got dirt bottom cheap to outrageously and ridiculously high estimates, when I met John, I knew right away that he was the painter we wanted to do our house. His extremely warm personality exudes when you talk to him and tell him what you want done to the house. He does give you his opinion, in telling you the various paints and the potential outcome if you use a certain paint vs another. He will constantly say, we don't "use cheap paint" because the quality will stand out and last a lot longer. We hired John and John Jr to paint the interior, exterior, and kitchen cabinets for a house to be put up as rental property. My one fear was how the cabinets would look because most people will just tear down the existing cabinets and put in new ones. I wanted to resurface and paint the existing cabinets to look like store bought cabinets. John assured me the lacquer he uses to put on the cabinets were top notch quality (shared me examples of work he had done). The fact that he had been painting cabinets for 30 years and comes from 4 generations of painters, that he KNEW what he was talking about. WOW is all I can say when the all the painting was done. EVERYONE loved the colors chosen for the house (walls: SW Agreeable Gray, Trim & Cabinets: SW Extra White). The house was rented out in 14 days from the time we listed it on the market at above the market value. John is now my forever painter on all of my present and future properties.

We took some time to consider and hired John. From the start everything went well they cleaned up everyday and always arrived on time. The finished job is beautiful we are so pleased. John and his crew made our house into a home. We will hire them again in the spring to paint the exterior.
