Friendly service and good selection of products…read more I have been going here for years as I try to stay away from big box stores. I have never had a rude or even subpar service here. Often if I am visiting another business in the plaza I will stop in just to see what new neat trinkets they have for your yard or just to simply kill time. They cost a little more than the bigger home improvement stores but it is a nicer/calmer atmosphere here at B&B. And they seem to have everything I have ever needed they have but with more helpful employees with smiles.

It took nearly half an hour to get someone to talk to me at Home Depot in Camarillo, and that was…read morein Customer Service. I never did get anyone to wait on me in the paint department. I left and went to Lowe's where I got immediate help and found exactly what I wanted. At Home Depot I first waited at the paint department counter for over ten minutes. A staff member came to the counter, looked at me, said nothing, entered something in the computer and then left. I then called the toll-free number, twice. They gave me the direct number to the store. The first time I called they transferred me to a staff person who said something I did not understand and then he hung up. The second time a recorded voice transferred me to the paint department. I could hear the phone ring because I was standing right next to it, but of course no one answered. I then walked over to Customer Service where there were no staff people present and five people waiting in line. Eventually I spoke to the same person who ignored me at the paint counter. I mentioned that and he said it wasn't his department. I asked how I would have known that. He tried to help me by calling the paint department (no one answered) and then paging the staff person (again, no response).

My painters were waiting at the job site to get the paint. A woman who eventually identified herself as "The Manager" provided me some of the worst customer service I have ever had from a retail store in many years. Her name is Aliza Aldatzi and she was rude, curt, arrogant and just totally lacking in customer service skill. In the past experiences at this store I have never seen her and my orders were taken by "Johnny". I buy a lot of paint as I remodel homes but I will make sure I avoid this Vista Paint store because who needs more bad service in their lives?
