Chris, whom I spoke with, was super friendly and offered us free stain and pallets - as many as we could grab - and as many as Budeke's had on hand. I was so impressed and blown away by their charity. Thanks to budeke's we were able to construct tree pit guards along Highland Ave. to preserve the trees and keep trash out. Gentle and professional as he can't or may not be, I can now confidently demonstrate with examples the inaccuracy of his claim. In the past, my wife has had painting done in our home. It is my opinion that many residential spreaders of paint should advertise as such and refrain from the noble title of painter. I'm sticking with Budeke's and either hiring a profession, or applying quality product acquired from them myself.

"Why Yes, kind sir" hose thingy that can attach. He knew what I was talking about pointed up and talked about a few and I saw one I liked and he grabbed it for me! I walk to checkout and grabbed some mango hi-chews and the lovely lady upfront that greeted me checked me out and signed me up for the Ace rewards. She was sweet! I will be back! Bottom Line: Quality paints and consistently great service…read more I've been going to McCormick Paints in Annapolis for the past seven-plus years and I've always had a good experience with them and their paints. Originally I went to McCormick to match the paint that was used by my builder but McCormick's friendly customer service and great quality paints keeps me returning. I think it also helped that they gave me a fan deck (thank you!) on my first visit which I still use. I've used many gallons of their paints. I've also used a variety of their products and I've only had one issue - a low VOC paint that skunked. Indoors I've used 1st Step primer, Total Advantage and Revo on my walls and Advantage (now discontinued) and Revo on my trim. Outdoors I've used the State House exterior paint. When I had to paint metal railings outside I trusted their Interlock Direct to Metal paint. All of these paints went on easily and have held up great. As a bonus, they sell caulk in their standard paint trim colors like White Shadow and Cool Platinum which is super helpful!

The backstory: our property management company refused to offer any help in figuring out what paint color was initially used at the property that we had been renting. We went to Lowe's and had a horrific paint match done, that was at least five shades darker than the original color. Sherwin Williams was our last ditch effort, and thank goodness for them! The store is located in a small shopping center along Belair Road. You would almost forget about this shopping center because the large Mars grocery store that once inhabited most of the shopping center is now defunct. The store is small, but clean, and the staff is very willing to help. We initially brought in a paint sample from our wall that was too small to be matched, but they tried anyway and got pretty close. We came back and they replaced our paint sample with new one, after spending fifteen minutes to ensure that it was the perfect shade. The end result was fantastic, and the property management company admitted that they could not see any difference between the original paint and the paint that we had matched. The store size really lent to more care attention to our situation, and we really appreciated it!
