A perfectly fine Home Depot. I had a super good experience with an associate named Vern, but apparently he's relocating away from this location :( Anyhow, sometimes hard to find associates, but it always is at a home depot. Nothing stands out terribly positively or negatively. Solid place to stop and pick up what you need. read more

A day after posting my initial review, the order finally arrived. Unfortunately, that relief was short-lived. My wife and I paid the full price for a brand-new model, and while the delivery fee was waived as a sign of good faith, the freezer we received had clearly been diverted from another store. It turned out to be a display model, not new, and it arrived scuffed and slightly damaged. It's one thing to make a mistake; it's another to repeat it. This entire process has wasted both my time and my wife's. She even had to go back to the store in person and act more forcefully than she should have needed to, just to get basic service. The store manager responded as one might expect a corporate tool, proving difficult to reason with. It's not difficult to see where the shift managers get it. It took several individuals before someone finally took ownership of the situation. Thankfully, one decent manager stepped up, had the staff retrieve the display unit, and replaced it with a new one in the original box; something that could have easily been done on day one. Instead of resolving the issue from the start, the management offered explanations and justifications, without taking a moment to see the situation from the customer's point of view. For a store with a 3.5-star rating, I would have hoped for more accountability and care. Sadly, this experience has convinced me that this will be our last purchase from Home Depot. read more

I love coming to this location for all of my indoor and outdoor needs. This location has a sense of community where locals come in day by day and know the employees by name it feels great. Employees at the paint counter are really great company providing impeccable service mixing colors, color matching and so much more. The store is easy to get around with big displays in each section. It's nice I can also bring my furry friend along. Staff is very welcoming and helpful when I have a question. I value this store more then yall know read more

The Home Depot - Hardware Stores Near Me - Aberdeen, Maryland

While you can usually find what you need at this store, don't count on the staff to be helpful! Went there last night and was looking for a fitting to a PVC pipe. Asked an employee for assistance and his response was "I'd have to look for it just like you do". Great customer service... thanks Home Depot - (Please don't miss the sarcasm) read more

Bunch of cheating bastards! Don't waste your time at Home Depot!!!! Never will I rent tools from them again. Rent a tool for 4 hours for $50. I take it back in 90 mins and still have to pay the whole $50. FUCK HOME DEPOT! From now on I'm going to Lowe's. read more

This country is in the midst of a deadly coronoa virus epidemic. The Federal government, the Center for Disease Control and the Government in Maryland have ordered people to stay home unless necessary. They have also strongly recommended that everyone wear masks when visiting stores and to stay six feet apart. Home Depot in Aberdeen is NOT taking steps to protect its customers or its employees. Its conduct is grossly negligent. NONE OF ITS EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING WEARING MASKS, GLOVES OR PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING. I witnessed cashiers standing almost shoulder to shoulder at the customer service counter dealing with customers 2-3 feet away and acting as if they never heard there was a pandemic. HOME DEPOT is putting its customers and employees in serious danger. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH read more

has to be the worst of the worst with customer service. It's like everyone hides from you..... even better when they have sections blocked off you have to get to, no ones working expect playing on their phones while on a fork lift. Yea great place if you like wasting time. This is the last straw with Home Depot and me, never coming back. I'll drive 1hr just to go To a Lowe's instead. read more

A one star rating is still too high for this store. I created a "pick up order", arrived at Aberdeen HD at designated time, used my app to let them know I was there. I waited over 20 minutes (only one other person was in pick up spot and she was parked there "just because". Finally, I called the store to let the know i've been waiting (23 minutes now). spoke with someone at service desk let her know what i had ordered and that i was waiting in parking spot#3, said she'll be right out. 26 minutes now, she came out, stopped to talk with a friend (i assume since she hugged the other person). she proceeds to walk up to the lady in spot #1!! Luckily the lady refuses the package, she then came over to my truck and gave me the package. upon arriving home (20 minutes away, i looked in the bag and Yep, you guessed it, I did not have everything I ordered and paid for. called the store and spoke with assist mgr Cathy. who said she was sorry and that she would refund me...great, except that part i needed was for a plumbing project that could now not be completed!! Frustrated, I asked for general/regional mgr name and phone number. couldn't get John Atkinson number, so I called HD Corporate, who could not give me his direct number but would be happy to take my complaint. so, I told my plight. I was assured that he and/or the store manager would contact me within the next few days...it's been over a week and CRICKETS, No one has bothered to send an email or anything. My advice to HD is to take a page from the service that grocery stores and even walmart provides for their order pick up program. moral is; don't promise a service that you cannot possibly provide, it just makes you look inept and customers really pissed off. I did get that part but I bought it from Ace Hardware, where great customer service still lives! read more

Good product selection but you can't get any of the helpers to load heavy items. They're many guys there working together and maybe one is doing all of the work. Unfortunate. Jefe refused to help. read more

The Home Depot - That home feeling - Hardware Stores Near Me - Aberdeen, Maryland

The BEST HOME DEPOT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! New to the area I've only been here three times. It each time I've been greeted w a smile, friendly people, and ready to help. From "have a blessed day" to "let me show you where it is" to totally being informed about a product and making suggestions, this place is HANDS DOWN the best HD I've stepped into. The products I needed I found, so I'm guessing they have what they advertise, but the customer service will keep me coming back! read more

I'm attempting to be "Covid" understanding but this store seriously needs to train their employees in Customer "Service"! Fortunately ANGIE came to the rescue with fairness and professionalism! Kudos to you Angie for taking pride in your job and a BIG THANK YOU! read more

A week ago I went to my local Home Depot to do some shopping. I was approached by a sales representative about a 9 dollar deal to get my AC checked before the summer months by Blue Dot @https://www.facebook.com/BlueDotOfMaryland/ Today the technician came by and Low & Behold I need my blower motor replaced for $989.00. I could not believe it. It is quite an expense that I was not expecting to have. Luckily, the technician said he could take care of it "on-the-side" for $600 if I kept it between "us". Still a lot of money. I am fortunate to have a neighbor with his own HVAC company so I gave him a call for a second opinion. Thank goodness for kind and honest people in this world. Five minutes later he had my AC blower working again by RECONNECTING THE WIRE THAT WAS "DANGLING" INSIDE THE UNIT!! Morale of the story: -DO NOT TRUST BLUE DOT HEATING from Forrest Hill, MD!! -VENDORS AT HOME DEPOT SHOULD BE VETTED BETTER FOR TRUSTWORTHINESS!!! **IT IS INFURIATING THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD THAT BAMBOOZLE PEOPLE THAT TRUST THEM TO PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. YOU MAY AS WELL BE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT!! read more

, I called and was told that I could return things without a receipt when I brought all the heavy stuff back and they scanned my license they said that they could not honor the return. They have a third-party verification place that your license number goes to and that's when they can turn it down. They would not even let me leave the items there while I tried to contact the contractor to get receipt. I canceled my credit card with them I will never go back. Very poor customer service, everything that I was returning was going to be used right back into the store. I think they pick and choose who gets to return and who doesn't, if it's over 1000.00, " oh, we are so sorry". Store manager is a joke, all she did was refer me to the third party verification, you could tell she just didn't want to be bothered. I will NEVER, EVER GO BACK. I will buy from Lowes only after this. read more

This Home Depot is the friendliest and most helpful hardware store within 50 miles. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you find what you need. We were recently looking for a trash can, the size we were looking for was up on a high shelf. They offered to pull it down and bring it up to their service counter while we continued to shop. No less than 10 staff greeted us while on the shopping trip. read more

We went to this store early yesterday morning when en route to D.C. I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewer, as the staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. We were looking for several items and we received terrific service. read more

They are the only Home Depot I've ever been to that doesn't accept my veterans stamp on my drivers license for a veterans discount which i had to show proof to the state that i was a veteran to get. Doesn't make any sense. Also they always have people standing around where you check out doing nothing but when you need help in one of the departments they are no where to be found. When you find one, they say they need to page someone to help but they never show. Very frustrating. Never had any issue with any Home Depot before this one. I never write negative reviews but this is deserved read more

Always so nice when I go in there. Everyone greets you. They even have in depth conversations with you. Love the staff. Haven't ever met the management but I take that as a good thing because if I needed to It wouldn't be a good thing!!!!! =) lost this place over Belair home depot. read more

Great store, very friendly staff, and great selection of products. Their garden center is also extremely nice and nothing is overpriced.

Of all the HD's this one is my favorite! Always stocked and clean, with friendly knowledgeable staff. Just purchased several thousands of dollars worth of tools there, mainly because of the Pro desk and tool section associates. If you are a professional tradesman or business owner, check into the Pro account and see what you have been missing! Again, the Aberdeen location is awesome!!!! read more

Staff is always helpful, and they always have what I need in stock from soil to paint to tools to nails to you name it - even when I am looking for an unusual size or color. No complaints. read more

I had a very pleasant experience yesterday. With a fairly large shopping list, I had several questions. I received friendly and accurate help with every question. It started in the plant department when I asked a vendor and she was able to direct me. Next I asked a new employee about something else and, after he found the information, he followed up with me to see if I had found what I needed. After I presented my military ID, the cashier was very helpful and pleasant at the self checkout. read more
