My wife insisted on this company. I was against it because of the outrageous cost to just do a 32"…read moreshower stall. $12,000+. Ridiculous, and we had the tile. This will probably bother me the rest of my life. The job was done well but there are so many other companies that could have done the job for half the price. You are paying for sales people that hold your hand and a showroom to show you your options. Some people need this, I don't. My wife apparently did. My sister just got a whole bathroom remodel including all the walls removed down to the studs, new tub, glass door, ceramic floors and walls, double sink vanity and all fixtures. All for $8,000. Her job looks just as good for so much less. If you don't mind paying inflated prices, by all means hire this company.

When we moved in our lovely new home in 2003, I was particularly fond of the massive soaking tub. But as time wore on and trends changed, it wasn't as en Vogue. And as much as I love a good soak, it took way too much water to fill. What I never loved was the base quality shower "box" with the cheap sliding doors. I so wanted to bring my bathroom into the current era. Last fall (2019), we decided it was time...and that we deserved it. Metropolitan Bath and Tile was great from the in-home measurement (great guy) to the selection of custom cabinetry, sink, tub, tile, and fixtures with help from Wendy and Alex. Our installation team was professional, respectful, and made sure to ask for input and explain as they went along. When I recall their names, I'll add them. They did excellent work and deserve to me mentioned! Our only snag was the new soaking tub was back ordered from the manufacturer. The install team apologized and tried to keep us abreast of the ETA as best they could. It turned out to be longer than we wanted, a few weeks of not using our bathroom while waiting. But when it was placed in and the flooring finished, it was perfect. With a little interior decorating by yours truly bathroom looks like it belongs in a destination spa. Their work isn't inexpensive, but you pay for quality and peace of mind. Sorry it's taken so long to post a review. Thank you to the folks at Metropolitan...and as their ad states bathrooms --it's what they do, it's all they do!

Today my anxiety was high as the many options out there for kitchen cabinets (wall, island and wall), countertops, countertop continuance in lieu of back splash and on is abundant. I had set my mind on one color but entering this store again but not when it was closed allowed for a more open mind to view the models. Of course it would not be me if I didnt make another selection of color choice in cabinet color. I was then paired with Laura whom was beyond helpful. With a few of my many questions she asked Mike about somethings. Mike stated to me, you came in here the last time as he remembered me and said she saw and confirmed the cabinet she wanted right away. Mike knew that part and was confirming to me to not get too confused and stick with what stood out for me. I still liked the Pebble Cabinets but like the darker of the Greige as well. With Laura assisting we then was able to narrow down 3 countertops and get quotes. I appreciate their assistance, patiences and kindness during my project stressing of selecting the cabinets and other portions thats necessary for the 2nd phase of my kitchen remodel project. The cabinets seem very reasonable in cost however they are not able to do a customizations like a few other kitchen remodel stores.

He makes every component by hand and finishes them with a water based laquer in the custom color of your choice. They are actually very nice cabinets. Communication was very good for months as the project progressed. Multiple site visits, responding promptly to questions, getting all of the specs for appliances, etc... Things seemed to be progressing very well. Then delivery day approached. The cabinet boxes were delivered, but only about 50% of the doors and drawers. I'm missing all of the shelves, roll out trays, and about half of the drawers and doors. I was assured that the remaining parts would follow shortly, and foolishly made a second partial payment. Then everything changed. No response to calls or emails. Silence. After my counter surfaces were installed and the other aspects of the project essentially finished, Koenig Cabinetry cut off all communication and says they have gone out of business. The cabinets were paid in full incrementally and i'm having to find someone else to finish the work at considerable expense. This will cost my working class family thousands of dollars in losses. I'm sharing this in the hope that I save someone else from a similar fate. I'm trying to figure out how to recover. These same folks also operate as KOENIG PAINTING and FINISH CARPENTRY in Baltimore. $4600 for two bathroom refinish jobs…read more Did they fix the tile? Sure. Does the paint look pretty? Sure. ITS NOT WORTH $4600 when it chips within weeks and painters tape takes off the finish!!!!! My professional painters were flabbergasted and can't even fix it because Tub Coaters uses some sort of spray paint that we can't buy. AND they want to charge me $45 for a touch up? Are you joking me? They got paint on our freshly done balcony roof, and my sidewalk. I have a complete shit time getting a hold of anyone there. They are not timely at all. They came to "fix" the flaking paint yesterday and then left because the office called and told the guy to go to a different job!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! This job was done only a few months ago and we haven't touched the paint with anything but painters tape by our contractor. It SHOULD NOT COME OFF LIKE THAT. Y'all don't stand by your work and it's TERRIBLE. These 5 star reviews are a joke. This company is a joke and the selling tactics and procedures are predatory. The fact that they have to defend that they've been in business 25 years and have many happy reviews does not change our terrible experience. They've been awful to work with. This paint job is not worth what they're charging and if I had known better I would have gone somewhere else who was charging less and had better customer service. But they were "fast" and could come sooner. My mistake.

Tub Coaters sent out Geronimo promptly and he made some of the repairs even though it was almost 8pm. He's has been here before and I can confidently say he's just as patient as he is competent. Eric worked with me on the price and I'm happy with the repair. As for WHY Tub Coaters wasn't picking up my calls resulting in my 1 star review? Eric said they use some fancy VoIP phones and in an effort to avoid spam calls, the system blocks numbers that call repeatedly (sigh). What's the solution? They said they'd speak to their phone provider to get it fixed up. And how can we get ahold of them? I'd suggest filling out their online form. Hopefully, those messages will go directly to them! If you get Alex's direct line, give him a call. He's still as reliable as ever

We bought a vanity with extra long sink top for bathroom & I can't wait to get it installed. Looking forward to getting back there for kitchen remodel as soon as we can do it! Bob the owner was generous with his time & explained everything to us about the cabinets and marble/granite tops.
